We were quite impressed with our trash removal service. They have actually been bringing our trash cans back down our driveway. I was shocked to see the negative reviews on their service.
Horrible service. Extremely unprofessional. Employees throw cans everywhere. Broken many trash cans. Office secretaries are extremely rude when you call. Higher price than competitors. Better off using a different company.

Employees are rude, and management are very aware that customers have little to no choice in who they can hire to collect the refuse.
I have the choice of taking my own trash to the landfill, or hiring Hugh’s, and they know it. (it’s still an option I consider from time to time.)

Can’t remember a time when the lids were closed after emptying. Rainy days were fun to have to turn over heavy cans to drain and dry. The porous plastic the cans are made of collects smell you can not get rid of. Was happy to end service for that reason alone.

Its sad to see all of the negative reviews. We’ve used Hughes for several years now and have never had any issues. Whenever I’ve had to call the office for any reason, they are courteous, helpful and even pleasant to deal with.

We were customers of Hughes Trash Removal for 15+ years. We sold our home in November, and recommended the new owners use them. I had paid Hughes through the end of the year. I have been calling them for 3 months for the refund..do not suppose I will ever see the refund. Large company as this cannot treat a long time customer well.

Hughes missed my house at least once a month. When you call it’s because they have a “new” driver. When they do come they leave trash behind because they think it is too much. I’m trying to explain to them that if they miss a week, common sense is there will be two weeks of trash. They do not seem to understand this.

The wheel popped off my trash bin and rolled all the way down the street. The gentlemen at Hughes found the wheel and delivered it back to me in the big truck. Friendly, professional, and they’ve never missed a pick up. Thanks again fellas, I thought that wheel was gone for good!
