Switched to Ideatek from Cox. 4 times the speed for $5 more per month. Their installer was great in being flexible on where I wanted the fiber ran inside and out on my house. So far the internet is great! I purchased my own router from Walmart TP-Link ax1800.

Ideatek was out first thing in the morning on the day we were told that our service would be installed. Multiple trucks and plenty of manpower were dispatched. Installers were friendly and knowledgeable.

It has been over a year and I still mostly agree with myself a year ago, I usually don’t get 1200 ms 90% of the time but the internet will stop working for a short period of time. I was on my PC for 3 hours today and it disconnected 12 times, which would average once every 15 minutes. I still do NOT recommend this provider.

Not as fast as it used to be. Not sure ideatek is keeping up with the growth.
It’s amazing. We went from satellite broadband (1 mbps down, 200 kbps up), to microwave broadband (40 mbps down, 10 mbps up) to fiber at 1 gbps down and 100 mbps up. At 1/3 the price of microwave. And it even works in bad weather. Install was very easy. Want to download the whole USNO-B1.0 star catalog? It’s no problem.

I’m using the wireless service in Colwich, and it’s fantastic. Better than advertised upload speeds, which is great if you work from home like I do. Very stable connection. And they worked with me to support my local server that I have setup and need to occasionally access when outside the home
I live just out of city limits and for years my only option was AT&T. I always had problems with buffering, lost signal and their customer service experience was always terrible. Ideatek has solved all those problems. Absolutely love and highly recommend this company.
