An absolute dumpster fire of a newspaper. I’m not sure why anyone bothers getting the paper from you anymore. Everything you put out is absolute garbage.

My newspapers came but my neighbor stole it, i live in a duplex, i specifically told tgem to put it in my mailbox for tgat reason ! They have been throwing it on the ground.
They don’t care about k.c. the owners aren’t in k.c.every paper they run goes out of business and treat the employees like machines. Their pay sucks going wages for press operators is 19.00 per hr. They want to pay 8.00 p.h. very unsafe place to work.
Horrible customer service. I’ve been trying to cancel my subscription for 6 months now and they’re VERY persistent in trying to “keep [me] as a customer”.
Not a bad newspaper, I guess. It certainly contains a lot more news than the Topeka Capital Journal, plus a larger comics section. Rather sad that I can’t get this large of a newspaper in the Kansas state capital.

Unsubscribe options are horrible. Can’t do it online because they’re shady blood suckers. So I had to wait 25 minutes on hold to speak with someone in India who gave me a hard time about cancelling. Terrible service.

I don’t often write reviews, but Kansas City Star is the worst business I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They will call you nonstop no matter how many times you say you are not interested. Unbelievably persistent and rude.
I had a trial period and never read the paper. Canceling has been the most difficult thing over encountered. I get 3 calls a day asking me to renew. I’ve blocked 4 different numbers and still get new calls. I will NEVER subscribe again.
Terrible experience. Star stopped sending my digital paper a couple weeks ago. Five phone calls later and still no resolution. Then Sunday they failed to deliver my actual paper.
Horrible Service! They raised my bill from $70.00 to over a hundred dollars a month. Now they’re cutting out Saturday deliveries. To make matters worse, I didn’t receive my Saturday or Sunday paper. The customer service rep said they would have the Sunday paper delivered. It never happened. More money — less service.

When deciding to stop they kept delivering beyond what I paid for then sent to collections because I didn’t pay for what they delivered when I didn’t ask for it. 3.5 hrs later they start unloading me . If trucks come with just a few pallets , they unload them first .
