  1. An absolute dumpster fire of a newspaper. I’m not sure why anyone bothers getting the paper from you anymore. Everything you put out is absolute garbage.

  4. They don’t care about k.c. the owners aren’t in k.c.every paper they run goes out of business and treat the employees like machines. Their pay sucks going wages for press operators is 19.00 per hr. They want to pay 8.00 p.h. very unsafe place to work.

  5. Not a bad newspaper, I guess. It certainly contains a lot more news than the Topeka Capital Journal, plus a larger comics section. Rather sad that I can’t get this large of a newspaper in the Kansas state capital.

  7. Unsubscribe options are horrible. Can’t do it online because they’re shady blood suckers. So I had to wait 25 minutes on hold to speak with someone in India who gave me a hard time about cancelling. Terrible service.

  12. I don’t often write reviews, but Kansas City Star is the worst business I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They will call you nonstop no matter how many times you say you are not interested. Unbelievably persistent and rude.

  13. I had a trial period and never read the paper. Canceling has been the most difficult thing over encountered. I get 3 calls a day asking me to renew. I’ve blocked 4 different numbers and still get new calls. I will NEVER subscribe again.
