Had a good experience with the two young men who came to help me with a housemate who had an alcohol related emergency this morning.
The patience and care they took was appreciated.
The person I spoke to in their billing department could not explain to me the charges on my bill. She was extremely rude and had a really mean attitude toward me from the start. $2800 for an ambulance ride.. Wow I’d rather be dragged to the hospital.
Slipped on some rocks, fell to one knee, King happened to be passing by. They put me in the back – I was confused and told them I didn’t need an ambulance – a guy with rotting teeth pulled out a 6-inch syringe. Woke up the next day at the hospital.
Is anyone’s insurance accepted by KingAmerican? They tried to charge $3,500 and the Data InSight third party service my insurance uses recommended $1,970. Either way… that’s an expensive 4 mile ride.
Was vacationing in bay area (1000 miles from home) when 15 month old suddenly went into a seizure requiring transport to hospital. Billed $4800 and is, obviously, out of network. How can corruption be so blatant? In California too.. I …

Heaven help you if you ever need an ambulance and someone calls King American. At a time when you often have no choice as to which company is called and you are under great duress, they force you to sign paperwork and then stick you with a …
I had an allergic reaction in March and this ambulance company was the one that arrived. They did not transport me and basically just watched and waited and then decided to clear me. They didn’t provide transport or treatment. While I was …
They want money from people that may need to go to hospital for an emergency. $4k for 15 minutes. Hope the attorney general of California have them on radar.
5 min ambulance ride in SF cost me $3,900. Out of network according to my insurance. Clearly, these people have a sweetheart deal with the politicians in city hall and the fire department that control the 9-1-1 contracting services. Just …
Someone called the ambulance for me and I wasn’t in need of medical attention. They never came or anything but somehow got my information and billed me $500 for no reason. This company is just out to get your money, they are thieves. How …

I attempted to kill myself and the EMT told me I should have succeeded.
