Lane Electric Coop gives friendly and quick service!
Slowest repair service I have ever experienced. ,no darn turkey. For. Us. Thanks.
Thanks Lane Electric and other crews helping to get power back on!
Your jobs are typically thankless, but wanted you to know you really are appreciated.
11 days no power, no update, I called but was told I should read update on webpage which I would be happy to do but I DON’T HAVE POWER so the internet isn’t working. 1 star, would give less if possible.
Words cannot describe our appreciation for your dedication and perseverance in restoring our power in such a timely manner. Amazing job! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! …
Easy to pay my bill online. No hassle B’s and it’s saved on my phone so I can get to it quick and pay my bill and I’m done in less than 5 minutes
If your planing on moving and Lane Electric will be your power supplier I would 100% suggest investing in a generator because your power will be going out a lot.
They are awesome! Always willing to help over the phone, personable and accommodating. If in need, out the same day. 1st outage today in over a year and only because of nature…tree fell on the line.
They should receive zero stars. They made me pay over $400 so I could get a paper bill. Their service is way over priced. This is the worst power company I’ve ever had.
“scheduled outages” yet no warning. Just moved here 4 days ago and so far the power has gone out twice, this time for 8 hours. No emails, texts, nothing at all. Awful.
Pressed the wrong number paying by phone, a 20$ dollar difference which i could have fixed right away, instead i get charged a 500$ fee for a late payment. That was after they wanted 1,000$ just to turn my power back on. But they settled on the 500$.Worst company i have ever dealt with in my life. i hope they rot ..
Awful service. They never know what’s going on when the power goes out unless it was an outage caused by them. Power goes out multiple times every winter for reasons that could’ve been avoided with regular maintenance. They never estimate …
Damn foolish in my opinion to cut rural power when fire risk is high. You cut our water so we cannot put out a fire and start up thousands upon thousands of generators simultaneously. Each one a potential fire starter. Self-serving, not serving those who rely on you to power our wells and water pumps.
They get ZERO Stars from me. I attempted to notify them that I was building an addition and that the service would need to be moved. that was 9 months ago. I have repeatedly been told that they would get back to me, it took 8 months for …
This is just a horrible utility through and through. I have them at my house and deal with them at work. Their lineman are great and easy to work with. Other than that, Lane Electric is the most frustrating utility I’ve ever had to deal with. There’s no checks and balances in utilities and they’re out of hand.
Rates are comparable to other araea providers. I had a service request at my residence and they were quick to respond. Couple years ago there were mass outages from ice, and they brought in help from other agencies to help. I believe they do the best they can for a small co-op.
Lane electric is the worst power company I have dealt with. The power constantly goes out and they don’t know why. Two times a week minimum for hours or days. They cannot provide their customers with power on a regular basis and when the …
The power came on at approximately 2:55 PM on September 9th 2020 after being off for 2 1/2 days. That only lasted until 4:20 PM when it again went out. This utility needs some house cleaning from the top down. Service is secondary which doesn’t work!!
Crap service. Ontop of paying ridiculous rates for power their customer service is utterly rude and condescending. Questioned ridiculously simply to report a power outage. Treated like a child, given no real answers or estimated wait time. …
Certain operators are friendly. Otherwise, I rate them very poorly. During outages they refuse to take payment by phone forcing you into their ridiculous automated system. They claimto be too busy but have no problem staying on the line …
In the year and a few months since I purchased my home I have had more power outages in this short rime than my 20 years in Eugene / Springfield combined. Crazy… This company needs to figure out how to keep the power on. Simply ridiculous
Power goes out frequently, and takes forever to get repaired. Had a winter storm knocked out a lot of power but it’s been more than a week without power, the entire surrounding area has power, except my road. They easily could have fixed the power for our road while they were in the area but nope.
Yes, we were without power for the better part of 3 days due to the hazardous wind conditions. My hat’s off to Lane Electric for shutting down distribution to avoid setting new fires. …
We just do not have words for how grateful we are for your linemen and the extra help you gathered for this recent storm. We were without power for nearly five days, and really expected many more days as the conditions took so long to …
Terrible company to deal with. I agree totally with the negative comments written by other Lane Electric customers. Their outage response is terrible . I too had my power off for several days and was told by the lineman that all he needed …
I recently purchased Deception Creek Mobile home Park in Westfir. After reading the reviews I was apprehensive of Lane Electric. After working with their billing department, doing a small project with their engineering department, and …
Same as everyone else. With severe weather people can expect power to go out briefly. However with lane electric any gust of wind is catastrophic. Outages are often and extended. I work for a living and respect the hell out of the lineman …
In all my life, I’ve never had a worse experience with a power company. Everyone has outages, especially during storms, but this company doesn’t employ enough workers to be able to deal with situations, even when there are no storms.Their …
Can’t seem to keep the power on…(?) I’m a retired power plant operator,.. this kind of service [sic] would never be acceptable anywhere else.
A 20mph wind can knock out the power for a day. Sad. We’ve had about 4 outages this year that are wind/weather related. Coming from living in rural Minnesota, North Dakota, and Montana and working in power plants in those states. This company is so far behind the rest of the country in terms of equipment and speed of service.
Very poor planning cutting power off to rural area’s for 48 plus hours for a wind storm that never happened, then tell customers power to be resumed by 11:00pm 16 hrs later still not on, think of the elderly, think of no water, think of wasted food, someone needs to be held accountable!!!!
Pretty displeased with the business practices. You are REQUIRED to pay two months previous electric bill of what the previous land owner had to not be on a prepaid plan. The deals you offer shouldn’t rely on a random third party or previous …
What a crock. It’s 20 degrees cooler than they predicted and there isn’t any wind. Money hungry people make this world worse. Thanks for ruining 3000$ worth of fish. I sure appreciate it
Terrible service. Outages are a regular occurrence with no explanation or time frame for fixing. Super unreliable and more expensive. If I could quit this company, I would! Don’t move to a property serviced by this co-op.
Had a power outage involving a branch tripping a powerline breaker. The Lineman came right out and gave the gift of electricity for our home for my family and I. We were expecting to be out of power for days and the conditions were well …
Easily the worst power company I have ever paid for service. Power outages are a regular. Higher rates than other power companies for worse and intermittent service. Rude customer service that talks over you and refuses to listen. Charges are insane for poor intermittent service and rude customer care.
Real tired of power outages with no explanation or time of fixing it. I was told the planned outage would start at 5pm but started at 10am. Someone should be firing the entire staff and rehiring people who arent incompetent. I understand …
