Little River availability charge is to high.Duke Energy is cheaper .And they want to raise it to 28 dollars next year.Who approved this.It hurts the low income and retirees and lower middle class.Plus no incentive to save on your electricity bill..
They charge interested on electric bill based on your bill if late $$$$, plus monthly fee every month $$$$ which comes out to be around $250 year….they added $50 bucks to bill rip off ,,, going solar any day soon off grid I not selling any electric back to them also
We just had ice and snow only lost power for 2 hours which to me is amazing given electrical lines are above ground.
There are power bumps at least once a week. We’ve had at least2 today, and I’m just waiting for one of our game systems, computers or TV to get fried. Little River absolutely sucks.
The worst power company around. My elderly parents have been without power since Monday. They have called little river a few times and can never get a response. Just wish that they had more options as far as power companies go.

Utility companies are not allowed to be monopolies, they are legally mandated monopolies, enforced by statute at the local, state, or Federal level. … All those monopolies do is protect vested interests from competition, raise prices for consumers, enrich politicians, and prevent innovation.

We have always have great customer service with Little River Electric. They have always worked very quickly to get our power restored when having bad storms and we live in a very heavily wooded, rural area and still they get to us very quickly. All of the staff inside the office & out in the field are always wonderful!

Shout out to the crew who came to my house after hours when my power went out due to a problem with the transformer. I called Little River at 6:15 yesterday evening and by 7:15 the crew was at my house and had the power back on. They were fast, efficient and friendly and I was very impressed with how quickly they got the issue fixed.
