I really appreciate all the people who took care of me during the process of taking out my tonsils I want to say thank you and I loved the card you guys made me. It made me feel special to have been given the chance to meet you guys. …
Scammers & Thieves
Extremely rude and unhelpful over the phone.
What a horrible place…..I will take my business elsewhere now I know why I always hated this place.
Did not have a good experience. I would not recommend.
Great communication from all staff
I have a collection agency calling me (Im in California) saying I owe this place money because someone entered my SS# in the computer wrong and nobody will answer back in their billing department.
Absolutely horrible hospital, bad experiences, unprofessional staff, misdiagnosed, and over bills!
this used to a great hospital, is terrible now,. Surgeon did incorrect procedure and CRNA broke my front teeth.inserting tube
This is the one you don’t want to go if you still want a recovery. I would suggest Presbyterian, their service is just amazing!
Great staff in the lab
Christie is a excellent therapist!
Great experience. Friendly staff.
I can’t give 0 stars unfortunately; complete vultures. ‘Estimates’… pff
Try to get an appointment with a general physician. They said that because I cancelled two appointments in the past they will not accept me as a patient any more. Wow!
Horrible billing. It took me over 8 months to receive an itemized statement, even though I was repeatedly told that I would be receiving it within 3 business days. Once it arrived and I had questions about it, it has been impossible to find someone to talk to.
Wouldn’t go there if I was dying better off treating yourself if I could no stars I would. Place is awful nurses are rude had a compound fracture and they didnt even clean the dirt off for 3 hours upon arrival
The nurses in the ICU here were absolutely outstanding, going above and beyond in their care for our family member during a difficult time.
Always try to overcharge. The financial/accounting department has very poor communication/customer service. Never fax to them as they throw your document away without reading it. I wish Los Alamos have another medical center. From now on, I would go down Santa Fe….
We had our baby delivered at this facility. Staff was super helpful and informative during the process. We will be having our future children at this hospital due to the Neonatologist at the facility.
The surgical center staff was very nice. The hospital policy is to push you out to the street in a wheel chair, while you are in extreme pain, and tell you if you want back in, go to the ER.
Excellent patient care from office & surgical staff at the Endoscopy Center. Thanks!
LAMC care was outstanding and they had a difficult case to work with – a 98 year old who had fallen. The care was great and the 98 year old is recovering very well thanks to the exemplary ICU.
I agree that the billing is horrendous! I can’t believe Life Point can cope with the billing. Plus the bills are twice that of Christus. My son had better care in Santa Fe for the same thing as Los Alamos emergency room and bill was twice as much!
From the moment I went in to the moment I left everyone was great.
Billing department is the worst. Very disorganized as well as their emergency room. Would not go there again, nor recommend it to anyone. Even after living for over 7 years within 10 minutes away from them, I would rather drive off the hill to have a better and more knowledgeable service.
My child was born here. I have been stitched up numerous times here. The staff has always been helpful. Thankfully, it has been a few years since I have needed their emergency (or other) services.
Would like to bring attention to the actions of an employee at Los Alamos community center and their harrasment of me and other on Facebook. Their name is Kayla Montoya and I will be contacting Los Alamos Medical Center about her behavior …
I was overcharged for a CT scan and blood work. The hospital issued a check several months later. I made an inquiry about the check status and a male customer service person said he will investigate. No follow up at all from them. It’s been 9 months since the service. Incompetent Obama workers and hospital too.
Snapped my collar bone in half, payed for an ambulance and ER, and all they did was tell me
it was broken “which i knew already seeing as it was sticking up”, and give me a …
I don’t advice any one to go to this place. I had my sleep study done and i paid $399 for my insurance deductible. They scheduled my follow up on May 2rd 2016 at 10AM and i was sitting for 30 min before they open and I met another doctor …
Dr. Rowberry and his team members are remarkable, professional, and kind. Thank you.
Horrible, horrible, horrible. I don’t even want to start relating my first – and hopefully last!! – experience here. Unless you’re in an ambulance, go ANYWHERE else! …
Mind boggling prices for routine tests. I was told three common blood-draw labs would cost almost $400. It’s a shame—they’re co-located with Medical Associates of Northern New Mexico, which I’ve had great experiences with, but LAMC is so …
Charged me $500 for routine blood tests. And yes, I had insurance through LANL. Then, wouldnt let me see a specialist despite my symptoms requiring urgent attention according to my doctor back in Minnesota. …
My insurance was billed $2500 for routine blood tests! This is unbelievable!
Do NOT go here! Do NOT sign anything! I will be doing everything in my power to …
Was able to get the care I needed but their billing practices along with Jemez Emergency Mountain Physicians is terrible! I made a payment to Los Alamos Medical Center and they cannot even find the payment though it cleared my checking …
My problem is with some of the nurses in the ER. Not with who I was there with but the gossiping that goes on about other patients who were being seen is horrible. I heard everything said about other patients, why they were there, and …
Fantastic nursing staff, one doctor however, Dr Salim Amrani, was incredibly rude, horrible bedside manner, rude to my family and his own nursing staff, didn’t seem to care about the welfare of my family member. Will not use or recommend LAMC until they figure out what they are doing.
If only I could give negative stars, I would give one million.
Had a premature baby here (emergency, no choice). Then the nightmare starts.
1- no one bothers to ask for new address and insurance ect. so all bills send to …
Watch out, this place is shady. They contract providers to come in from other hospitals in Northern New Mexico, who may or MAY NOT be in your network. They don’t tell you they’re not in your network, you just get a $1000 bill months later, …
Got injured skiing and saw RN Claire and MD Bloomfield. Excellent care, very professional and friendly. I was in a lot of nausea from the pain and had an ill-fitting knee brace. I left feeling well and in a sturdier knee brace. It was apparent that they genuinely care about the wellbeing of their patients. Thank you and your team!
Had a problem with my foot which made it extremely painful for me to walk. Went in to get it checked out and the signage was very poor on where to go. I didn’t want to wander through the whole hospital so I asked a nurse where to go. …
The receptionist that handled my call was extremely rude. This is unfortunate, because her poor behavior and temperament is the first impression that people get when calling the hospital. Maybe hire a receptionist that isn’t miserable and actually wants to help?
My complaint is with the ER Physician and Anesthesiologist whose services I was provided by Los Alamos Medical Center for a broken foot and arm, as well as the hospital itself. I went to my only local hospital which is clearly contracted …
Great experience at the Endo center. Dr. Lange and the team were great!
I have sleep apnea and needed to get an updated sleep study; but the Los Alamos sleep center has a history of poor quality, though I had never used it before. However, I heard from my family doctor that they had made some changes at the …
Super disorganized. They have been confused each time I have checked in, having trouble understanding or verifying that I had an appointment. This time, they thought I had been there the previous month, when I hadn’t been there for over a …
Everything was fine in my interaction with the Endoscopy Center except that they were running over an hour late.
I would not recommend their maternity ward. My treatment was fine but what they put my healthy newborn through was horrendous. This is one of a handful of “for profit” hospitals in the United States. If you feel as though they are over …
One of the worst hospitals I have been to in this country. All about profit…you can be half conscious in severe pain and the first thing they want to discuss is price. Equipment is severely outdated and borderline illegal. MRI machine is …
Went for a CT scan and paid upfront, I then got a another bill two weeks later from XRANM. Why should I have to pay two bills? If the hospital uses another company for help then they should pay that another company. This hospital enjoys extorting the residents of LA.
Great experience at the The Endoscopy Center. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and explained everything they were doing and also explained what would happen every step of the way!
The entire staff at the Endoscopy Center were well trained and proficiently pleasant. It was a pleasure to meet them. Kudos to all involved !!!🤙✌️ …
If I could give this medical center zero stars I would. They do everything in their power to keep their patients sick. I’ve been repeatedly hung up on and denied medical help. Surgical referrals have been rejected repeatedly and I have waited days for a simple call back. This is no place to go if you require ACTUAL medical help.
Checking in was painless and as quick as possible. All lab personnel were friendly and very good.
I went to Los Alamos medical center, earlier this week. I’ve had a problem for 5 years & after going to about 14 different doctors in Albuquerque & not receiving the care I needed, I had to go to los Alamos. The doctor in dermatology gave me a diagnosis & cleared up problem in a matter of 3 days. I will forever be grateful.
About a year ago I was admitted to the ER here after suffering my first seizure the doctor on staff never saw me and despite this misdiagnosed my seizure as a panic attack. I then struggled for almost the entire following year to get a …
I have no words for how bad this place it. I was in the hospital for 4 days with a newborn and they did not know he had jaundice until I was discharged. So I had to stay in the hospital again for the baby. Very incompetent people. …
I’ve had nothing but good experiences here. Staff is very friendly and welcoming
I visited the ER twice in one week, and both times had a pretty positive experience. The nurses and doctors were very good – kind and caring. The only negative (besides that $10,000 billed to my insurance…) is how long it took to get …
Great MD, Dr Cook. Always listens and is interested in addressing any issues brought up.
Dr Hammond in the ER basically mocked me for going there. I had IBS and was having the worst abdominal pain that day when I went in. After hearing it was “just IBS” he mocked me for being there, he said he could do nothing to help, and I …
Staff was attentive and just really nice people. The procedure was quick. The doctor took time to go over everything and answer questions. I would highly recommend them.
Had labs drawn and the process was easy and efficient. All staff from registration to the lab staff were all very friendly.
The emergency room personnel are RUDE, Incompetent, unprofessional . Go to Santa Fe or Espanola! Dr Hammond, Chris Hammond, hung up on me 2 times after basically over dosing an 8 month old baby. The receptionist is RUDE and there needs to …
I don’t know any young women who have had a good experience at this emergency room. I have never been taken seriously, and on one occasion sent home while having seizures because they “aren’t a big deal” (direct quote from the doctor). My …
It was a horrible experience all around. I used to go here for Dr. Power, who was great, but she left. …
Great experience with rehabilitation department. My therapist, Mike Hoog, was professional and caring. I am doing very well.
I am always apprehensive of medical procedures. All, from receptionist, nurses, anesthesiologist and Doctor were supportive and professional. A nice touch was a phone call to tell me they were running behind so I could show up later. Kudos to your entire team and thank you all for your role in getting me through this.
I have had two EMR that I had to go here and the ER Dr Dozier was great. I felt taken care of and his bed side manner made my stay in er good. The nurses that were on staff also took good care of me. I am truly grateful to have a great hospital minutes away.. Thank you
So grateful to have a full hospital in our little town! We delivered our baby here 18 years ago and have gone back regularly for all kinds of stuff. ❤️
My biggest thing is family I couldn’t express how awesome they were to my son. Very professional Dr. Decker was awesome and the ER director Debbie…Thank you so much for everything you guys did for him.
Rowberry’s staff were amazing and I enjoyed their conversation and information. I knew what was happening every step of the way. This office is a Los Alamos treasure.
Everything went smoothly. I was taken on time. Nurses were outstanding and friendly. Anesthesiologist explained things in detail. Dr Rowberry was very patient and took time to answer all my questions. In summary, I received excellent care and would highly recommend this practice to others
I had an endoscopy procedure with Dr Rowberry and his team. His entire team was fantastic. I felt pampered from reception to dismissal
Good experience… staff are mostly local, positive, and helpful. Dr Hammond in ER did a great job of taking time for full workup and going out of his way to communicate with me to help coordinate the care of a patient. …
LAMC lab was short staffed but patient and easy to work with. They answered all questions and provided helpful feedback. A great visit with great staff members. Shoutout to Damian!
I was called 5 minutes before my scheduled appointment that they didn’t have a radiologist qualified to give contrast for my MRI. They confirmed my appointment, saw the orders and still waited to inform me (5 minutes before my appointment) …
For a small rural hospital and all the staffing issues this county has, the staff that show up every day do a really good job and make patient safety their #1 goal. I will keep my business here so that their doors remain open for the people in Northern NM. Without our support we could lose some of the services currently offered.
Dr Rowberry, the procedure Team, the office staff and the physical space itself were well organized, personable and very competent. Everyone made the experience as pleasant and stress-less as possible. I would recommend Los Alamos …
I had to go in twice to LAMC-ER this past week, due to painful kidney stones .The staff from the check in, to the nurse, to Dr. Chris Gutierrez one night, and Dr. Samuel Decker the following visit 4 days later. Was totally very professional …
I use LAMC almost every year for mammo. Terrific experience from check-in to radiology. The staff are friendly and professional. Especially during the mammogram. Love the new high tech equipment. The one time several years ago I had to go to ER was a smooth experience, as much as I did not want to be in the ER of course.
My experience during the Mammogram Spa Day was outstanding!! From registration to Susan who escorted me back to radiology and the ambience the staff created. The soft lighting, soothing music and the great gift of a cup filled with goodies. I’m t was a really pleasant experience and I am looking forward to next year!
Decent quality care, but YOU WILL have to deal with a massive bill when you go to their emergency room, even with health insurance. Be prepared to spend over $5000+ on a simple ER visit. They know they are the only hospital in Los Alamos it shows when you get your bill from them. I would give them ZERO stars if I could.
I have been doing physical therapy with Lori for just over 3 months since I had a total knee replacement. Lori has played an essential role as I work my way back to walking normally. She is a task master as well as a cheerleader. My …
My family’s experience was good overall. Like any hospital right now, they seemed very busy at all times. Despite this, all of the staff members were kind, helpful and provided care with a positive attitude. I would recommend this community hospital to others seeking care for a family member or themselves.
I had to get an Endoscopy procedure done for my heartburn that I have been experiencing for months. I saw Dr. Kurt Lange for my procedure. He was amazing, very knowledgeable and comforting about the procedure, the before and after care, …
A great place to go in my experience! Glendon cook is my PCP and he is wonderful! The ladies at the front are always helpful and polite. I have also met a lot of the surgery department and they are amazing as well. Very professional and courteous. The food is very good as well, especially the breakfast!
