  1. These people are simply awesome I’ve dealt with this guy several times over situations power outages lights that I had added to my property very professional and very quick these people set the standard for excellence

  2. THERE IS NO WORK TRUCKS TO BE SEEN ON MAIN HWY 570 3 MILES FROM TOWN!!! THIS COMPANY CAN BUILD MILLIONS OF DOLLARS NEW BUILDING BUT CANT AFFORD TO HIRE OUTSIDE HELP ANYMORE!! ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC!!!

  3. Can’t say enough good about the response on our recent power outages! Having been a lineman many years ago I appreciate what they have to go thru! Keep up the good job!!

  4. This is a terrible situation to be in. My wife and I are both disabled. We have been out of utilities for a week and there are no down power lines. No one working to get us power. Really

  5. Excellent service and stable power but holy smokes if you plan on living in a MEP serviced area get solar panels pronto cause they are insanely high priced compared to Entergy. I’m paying $40 more per 1000 kw of use per month with MEP than …

  6. Dont worry if your entire city loses power they’ll still charge you for power you didnt use for 3 days because of an outage and tell you “you were just using alot of power during that time”

  7. I have personally waited 5 weeks for this company to hook up my power and they still have not produced. They never give a time frame and have 100 excuses. This company is a disaster and customer satisfaction is not a priority.

  8. Called with a power outage in the Topeka community and almost before I got off the phone a service truck was in my driveway. Fast friendly professional service. Thank you.

  9. I like the pay as you go option. However, customer service isn’t so great. Let someone with people skills and a little common courtesy and decency and home training answer the dang phone instead of being snooty. Is it too hard to be nice to customers? Sheesh

  10. Letter said I had til 23rd to pay, they cut off lights on the 20th. And on top of that they add a 200 dollar deposit on top of what I owe and the reconnect fee of 45 dollars. My hours get cut and wife is looking for a job. Thanks covid.. And thank you mepa for taking advantage of people during the pandemic.

  11. Company needs to improve on customer service and taking care of them. Especially paying customers that pay monthly. And turn the power off cause you owe only 12 cents…. shows that they don’t give a hoot about there customers. And keep raising the price monthly. Sad sad

  12. Still no power on Plez DR SE…I know that you are busy but if you have 100 trucks working on these issues there should be more people with electricity. We have had to spend the last two nights in a hotel room. Please give your loyal customers some feed back!

  13. My power has been out a week. No trees down no lines down and everyone within a 100 -200 yards has lights except this area with 2 trailors..sad and unacceptable. Do better mepa

  14. 5 minute job to remove a branch and reset breaker on pole is now at 6 plus hours waiting. They said it was handed off to a technician. Last time it was the next evening waiting because it was reported as fixed and nobody ever came out.

  15. This company is a thief in my own opinion! I have put down the deposit And also $120 on our flex pay and can you believe me and my family don’t even get home until 6:00 each night don’t have any lights on with the air on 72 and we are …

  16. Great employees, as a retired lineman I think the solution to most of the outages would be for management to invest in the clearing of right of ways. The government has low interest loans to help out and keep the power grid stable.

  17. Any time we call for a power outage, the team gets on it right away. Called for my security light to be fixed on a Monday afternoon, they were out the next day and had it working again. Keep up the good work MEPA. Much respect. God bless y’all.

  18. A transformer fuse just failed (unfortunate woodpecker) and service tech responded within 30 minutes. I’m watching my favorite tv show within 45 minutes from my power outage report. Awesome service considering I live 30 miles from the shop.

  19. We haven’t seen 1 worker or truck on Thomas Grove Road yet. The lines are still down can’t talk to anyone no real time update. Been without power since 9 a.m. Monday morning.

  20. Our power went out yesterday around the time they closed their office or just stopped answering their phones. We have tried calling a dozen times to always get an automated system just telling us what we already knew, no power. I hate …

  21. Will work on your road with five power trucks for two weeks doing “replaces” and then the morning your power goes out be no where in sight and so busy they can’t give estimates for when they will get off their lazy ass’s and do actual real work

  22. Finally got power back on 8 days after storm. They won’t give you any estimated time when you call.It is great that other power companies came here to help them or we would be out for a couple weeks.

  23. Power restored last night to line located less than a mile from our house. Eighteen hours later, we still have no power. I guess it’s cheaper to drive somewhere else, then back here instead of getting all power restored at one time. Last …

  24. Can’t get power to a new construction because other customers lost power due to hurricane ida. We lost everything in south Louisiana and we are last to get connected I feel we should be in the same category as everyone else ! Paid a deposit 2 weeks ago and now have to wait another 4 weeks at minimum….

  25. Tony….You have a very very rude Employee!!!!:( They do not mind taking my money every month for my light bill without permission.. I come for a printout..and waste gas…………….which might i add its almost 5 dollars a gallon…and i …

  26. The worst customer service experience EVER! I’m aware of and I have empathy for them in this situation. Because I’m a former customer service representative, BUT you don’t just hang up on people! The management team should have provided …

  27. TRASH. I’m trying to see to the affairs of a deceased member and this has been one of the most difficult companies to deal with. There’s literally ONE person who deals with this and I’m guessing she’s overworked. A month of messages and still nada. You’d think they would have some sympathy.

  28. They are some of the rudest people that u can ever talk to. Now I get a reading daily how is that from 3 days ago. I wish they would give the people a choice of what company we would like. They would loss a lot of money. Don’t let a storm come and the power is out cause of them they still charge every day.

  29. No call or notification when coming to place power pole . Cut down 2 beautiful large birch trees not under power lines lft 15 foot tall gum trunk which will grow. right under lines did not connect pwr no reason why now have to call again.

  30. Always overcharging. They only have a select few staff members that are POLITE. They can never seem to explain why my bill is so high, even if I’m not home! If I had any other option to switch light companies, I WOULD. Unfortunately, I’m stuck being overcharged! 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!

  31. Hands down the worst experience we have ever had with an electric company. We lose power all the time, I mean sometimes literally when it’s barely raining. At least once or twice a month in the over 2 years we’ve lived here this had been …

  32. First off I’ve never had any trouble with MPA but there are a few things that really tick me off ..the building is closed to customers. We paid for that big fancy building. Stop using covid as an excuse to not allow people inside. Very …
