My family member died of cancer. They would not honor their policy as it was stated. An embarrassment to the insurance industry. Other insurance was friendly, and responded in a timely manner. Manhattan life were unreasonable, and apparently couldn’t read their own policy, even when we told them the page number and paragraph.

The insurance sounds great! It takes you months and several fax and mailings to finally get reimbursement. The first couple faxes, they say are blurry and they sent you a letter. The letter never comes. When you mail them a copy, they don’t receive it. Its just not worth the hassle.
Their customer service is very good. Never a ridiculous hold time. Payments are quick. Providers have little trouble with the claims. I have been with Manhattan Life since 2017.
Absolute joke of a company. I am signed up and there is no method for electronic payment. Get this – They want me to mail in a check. What is mail and what is a check ? This is 2022
The chat line was very helpful. I also appreciate the ease on signing in. However the forms are only suitable for a medical office not just for someone sending in their claim form e.g. for cost of office visit or purchase of glasses. i.e. it is not user friendly unlike the rest of your website.
