We’re Ready To Help You! The Maryland Pain and Spine Center was developed to help people with severe, chronic and debilitating pain receive treatment. Pain management physicians develop treatment plans based on each patient’s needs, and may work with other health professionals such as primary care physicians, physical therapists, orthopedic surgeons, physiatrists and neurologists. Patients may be referred to a pain management specialist by their primary care doctor, orthopedic physician, rehabilitation specialist or other medical specialist.

Was able to receive an unscheduled procedure.
The office staff were very efficient, patient and friendly. The examination with Dr Gunawardane was very nice. He listened to me, helped explain what is likely going on with me and what next steps will be. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a good experience and in search of relief.
I have never had a bad experience with the doctors and nurse practitioners at Maryland Pain and Spine. In the 12 years I have been a patient there, I have always been treated with the utmost care. My thanks to everyone at MPandS.
