  5. They use a coupon book for payments, they have no way of paying online, or over the phone if your late. Also the customer service representatives are very rude after making you wait on hold to even get a response.

  6. You’ll start getting bills that state how much “contribution” you owe, which WILL total in the hundreds. No explanation will ever be given, written or otherwise. This health plan is the mafia of health plans. Worst plan on the market.

  7. I’m getting the run around from this company. Says they mailed my insurance cards off on May 1 2018, it’s now May 21, 2018 and still NO CARDS. Can’t see my doctor without my cards. It’s beyond frustrating.

  8. Worst insurance company to have!!!! The hospitals in my county do not accept McLaren because they are out of network. My pharmacy can’t fill my prescriptions because they are out of network. This insurance company is worthless and fraudulent!

  9. The customer service for the booking transportation is terrible. They put you on hold for a long time, u get disconnected. Have to call back. Very hard to get a hold of. Had made arrangements for a cab the day prior and my cab service said they never contacted them. Very disappointed

  10. As a provider I find it extremely agitating that I have been on the phone for over 2 hours. Still on hold actually. We were considering starting the credentialing process, but after reading all these reviews, and this terrible experience, we’d rather not.
