Worst insurance ever. I have a fractured spine and I’ve been in and out of the emergency room and to half a dozen doctors, they all say the same thing; I need surgery. However, Medical Mutual refuses to cover the costs! Would rate 0 if possible.
Don’t send letters in the mail after one uses their insurance because they didn’t go to the place you thought they should!! A head trauma is an emergency not for urgent care!!
Just another unsatisfied customer here. They can make numerous mistakes, but don’t take responsibility for it. When caught or questioned the customer service reps can be quite rude. I would not recommend dealing with this company. Stay away you’ll be healthier and happier in the long run.
Medical Mutual is absolutely the WORST insurance company!!!! No one at their company will take responsibility for any mistakes. They are rude and quick to blame everyone else. The only people that think they are great, are the people that NEVER have to use them. STAY AWAY, find another company!!!!!

Had top tier level of coverage. Insulin pens for 3 months was almost $80 copay, but they wouldn’t cover the needle tips. I ended up buying the needle tips from amazon for $25-30. I now have new insurance, and 3 months of same insulin tips with the needle tips is $18. Plus, I pay less for this coverage.
I am so sorry that all of these people have had unsatisfactory service. I have been with Medical Mutual Insurance for 25+ years. I have NEVER had an issue with customer service or billing. If I have questions, I always call and receive excellent care.
