Dont work here and don’t send your family here. Service is horrible! They start you off at minimum ($15) and pay agency over $24! You’re out of ratio every day so u can never make it to all your residents in a day meaning your loved one is …
My parent was there for rehab. The problem was not the care from my perspective which is why I gave some stars but I was verbally assaulted and called racial slurs by their front desk/ security guard and upon it being reported no one from …
A few of the ADC clients are in need of more help than is currently available for the safety of the other clients and health aides.
Its a beautiful place
rabbi akiva is excellent!!!
I absolutely love working here!
My mother is there and we both love it.
Get your loved ones out from that hell as soon as possible!!
Thank me later.
If you want to be neglected and treated without dignity– while you’re already down, this is the place to go.
Do not work there or send your family members there. Director of HR Denise Lazer is very rude and doesn’t care !
Hats off to all the caregivers !
The most horrible place to work….employee unfriendly….zero Job security….petty over stupid stuff….instead of focusing on resident quality care, safety and happiness.
I hated this job and everyone there except my residence and some other NAs but the majority of the staff and long time higher ups are miserable and full of themselves honestly.
People here are very terrible. They leave the residents in poop all day and not wash them. They are too strict and the workers are a bunch of bullies!
Very unprofessional would never work here or bring family members. Came from the top #1 nursing home to #27 that should tell you a lot
Clothes retuned dirty and covered in stool, no answer when calling the nurses station, extremely disappointing overall
Highly wouldn’t recommend Denise LAZER the director of HR doesn’t know how to talk to anybody. She talks to you like you can’t comprehend!
My grandmother was there for 10 yrs. The aides stole food meant for the residents. My gran was whipped with a washcloth while getting a shower.
The nurses are soooo nice !! Especially Terri. She’s a sweetheart. She’s taking care of my 95 yr old mom.
Take a look at the front page NY times article that mentions this place. They disclosed only 11 out of 47 falls that took place here in the last year. Unbelievable that establishments like this are allowed to exist.
What goes on behind the scenes and at is sad people sitting in the poop waiting for help as the staff sit and gossip.. Tonight was my last night working there I waiting over a hour to get help with someone who needed help it was sad.I feel …
They seem to know all the residents by name.
They mistreat their employees. They see them as expendable. They are only interested in money, which is extremely sad. People work there for years and get taken advantage of by awful management and “higher ups.”
It’s a shame. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone.
They kicked my friend out because she was late one time she was a hard worker and very dedicated, she did all her work on time and efficiently and was determined to be there. I think they didn’t even at least try to give her a chance. After all this was her very first time being late ….
I’m only giving this place one star just so I can post. Staff is sloppy and lazy. Poorly managed. If you’re not Jewish or wealthy, you mean nothing. Daycare and long term care should definitely be investigated. How did this place get a rating above a “2”?
Awful and depressing place. I witnessed 2 nurses harass my non-English speaking grandmother, who was here temporarily for rehab after surgery. As she was bedridden and couldn’t walk, she had to pee/poop in her bed on a pad, which is fine. …
Worse place to work. This place will not pay you for the hours you worked. No staff, poor food, no equipment or materials to do your job. Residence aren’t safe, MenorahPark does not follow safety measures, staff positive for covid and still come to work.
My grandfather spent several weeks at Menorah Park following a stroke. He came there unable to move his left side and left there walking! Amazing, compassionate staff. God bless them. The aides, nurses, dietician, therapy staff and …
former employee here. worst place I have ever worked.
-Management does care for its residents or employees.
-residents are treated badly, mentally and physically. …
DONT EVER send your loved one there – they treat there residents/patients like a heard of cattle. there service is PATHETIC at Best are under staffed so they can make more $’s = they claim to be Non-profit but I really gotta wonder about …
I worked here for a 12 hour shift through a agency. The first 8 hours was great, the last 4 hours was horrible. The supervisor tried arguing with me and also raised his voice cause he knew I was right. Wont recommend this place to anyone, not staff, not residents. If I could give it a negative stars I would.
My father was here briefly after abdominal surgery and had a stoma. He had a lot of health problems also, but he was cared for very poorly. If we hadn’t had family there much of the time with him he would not have survived. He had to be …
Do not work here like some other past workers said on here yes they are worthless!!!!! They don’t help u at all considering them being so short all the time I couldn’t find help at all!!! I was technically all by myself with two head nurses …
Menorah Park has given minimal care at best. Now you have stopped visits bc of your employees and covid outbreaks. How sad for residents and their families especially since we are all fully vaccinated. When are you going to address this …
I worked there for 6 months and hated it. The work environment was not good at all. The place was always understaffed every single day. The scheduler absolutely did not work with me because I was part time (I’m in school.) The management …
My Grandmother lived here and had the worst experience imaginable. The facility may appear to be well kept, but the food was terrible and the medical attention lacking. They ignored her dietary restrictions and allergy, and on more than …
Visited a friend recently. Until recently I would have given this facility a 5. Short staffed, this facility has forgotten that the Jewish community relies on them
I have been here a month and still have another month to go following a very severe ankle break with multiple breaks within each the 3 main bones. If I had to be anywhere, this is the place. I am the youngest here at 52 lol but age is of no …
I’ve always heard good things about Menorah Park so I gladly sent my mother there for rehab when she was discharged from the hospital last week. Let me first say that no one from there even reached out to me to get any information from me …
I take people there for rehab & dialis. They have many more services for elderly.
Nursing personnel is verbally and mentally abused by management. Thank God DON is gone. I heard how she yelled at the nurse and telling her she is worthless. Administrator heard and did nothing. I reported to HR. No answer. Good pay but …
Our mother is well cared for in a clean and friendly atmosphere. We are very grateful to feel so comfortable for her well-being. Thank you to everyone there at Menorah Park!
Horrible care. If you actually care about your elders don’t put them here. They don’t change or wash them. Staff ignores their responsibilities and don’t think you can actually speak to managers they never show up to speak to you no matter how many requests are made. This place is pathetic
My dad was periodically at Menorah Park for rehab many times over the past 8 years and he had good experiences with that. When he went into long term care at Menorah in April 2020 in the Weinberg Pavilion, it was a VERY different …
My mother was discharged yesterday(Dec 22nd) and we got a bill today for December 14- 31 and for January 1-31st for her r room and board for the total of $9k. how are you going to charge us for dates that haven’t happened yet and for dates …
My wife, mother-in-law, and mother have all been in Menorah Park for one thing or another over the past decade. My wife went for a month after a terrible fall and broken femur and major surgery to repair it for rehab. Everyone, from the …
Take patients here all the time super sad zoo with poorly taken care of animals. Makes me concerned for other people they take care of …
My mother is a resident at Menorah Park Nursing Home. We chose Menorah Park for it’s excellent reputation. However, under the current management, Menorah Park has failed to meet our expectations. They are short of staff and my mother is …
Excellent! I won’t hesitate to use Menorah Park again for rehab.
Wish I could give them 0 stars. This place is a death trap, do not send your love one there. They will kill them. My loved one was readmitted to the hospital within two weeks of staying there due to inadequate neglectful care. I made sure …
I work agency and I have never experienced what I’ve experienced at any other facility what I have on this day . My shift started at 10am , I was asked to pass medications that were to be administered at 7am to now on a unit called Shaker …
If you are there for physical rehab it is okay.
However:
Since Covid, masks required for all visitors. …
Menorah Park Rehab and Hospice is superb!! Our family has experience with many rehabs in the area, and Menorah Park is by far the most outstanding. What makes all the difference is the excellent staff. It is truly a team effort in action. …
I worked along side some of the most hard working talented dedicated and passionate people on earth! I miss them, the residents and their family members who’s lives I interacted with and became a part of mine as well!
They will kill your relatives here. They are under investigation for a rabbi that was killed by an aid who failed to put oxygen on him while using restroom. Do not work here or place your family in this facility.
I work in the activities department and I absolutely love the atmosphere. My coworkers and I all put our best efforts for caring towards the well being of all the residents and it’s a great place to learn about others and our differences …
I just got hired here 30 days ago as an aide..i like it..the pay is very good…overall experience not too bad.. i work night shift i believe the residents from what ive seen receive excellent care even from the agency girls…and i think …
To whom it may concern:
On July 6, I had l4/l5 fusion of my vertebrae and needed post-hospital rehab. Menorah Park is at the heart of my eastside community and was elated that you had …
My mom has been at Menorah Park since March 2022. This has been a very difficult experience. She is more “ with it” than the other residents in her unit. She gets very little stimulation since there are almost no activities. I feel …
I work as an agency nurse and let me tell you, this facility is NOT the place to pick up shifts. The med cart is a mess, people did not have the medications they needed yet had medications in their slots that didn’t need to be passed on the …
The staff there are so helpful. My friends mother is a current resident and she cannot stop raving about how wonderful she is being treated. She loves all the activities they provide and the fact that someone comes by to see her if her …
