Their website and their slogan should not be BANKEASY I went back twice today and they kept reassuring me I could send money to someone just by using their website and everything that could go wrong did until I just took what I needed out and went through Wells Fargo.
I bank from out of town, so I call their phone lines A LOT (as I am fairly young, and tend to have a lot of questions.) Every time I call, the phone bankers are helpful, sweet, and super polite. Every. Single. Time. These people need a raise!!!
Jessica the girl who answers the phone WILL hang up on you repeatedly. We were trying to report to this bank that there were fraudulent charges on a customers card. They wouldn’t note the account. They wouldn’t call the cardholder. They actually hung up on us. Please don’t trust them with your money.
This bank charges you 10$ for every transfer even though you have a limit of 6 free transfers a month. They don’t give you your money back. If you call and ask for your transactions fees that they were never supposed to charge in the 1st place they won’t give them back and will hang up on you.
This bank use to be good but in the last several years it has proven otherwise. Lack of consistency, delays in deposits, fees, etc. Beginning to compare to Wells Fargo. Miss the small town ownership this bank had to offer years ago.
Everything will be fine until you have a problem with a charge. I have been disputing an unauthorized charge for nine months without any resolution. I haven’t been presented any evidence in that time that the charge is valid-and the balance …
Always helped me.
Very easy to do business with.
Have always been easy to work with would recommend them to anyone
Great little small town bank! If you are moving East River I highly recommend them.
