  1. Midwest is great for all things (electric, land line phone, internet, propane). Most recently we switched to them for propane and they showed up when scheduled, the technician knew what he was doing, and was friendly while doing it. He was able to get it in the spot we wanted also. Definitely recommend!

  2. 24/7 tech support? Just sat on hold for 30 mins with NO SUPPORT! Have now been internet-less for over an hour. Wish I had other options out here because I would switch in a heartbeat!

  3. You are a utility. Why are you sponsoring scholarships, trips, helping the needy, etc. with our money? I have a vacant house I am trying to sell with a $65 a month electric bill and the house is empty! Sell me electricity and STOP TRYING TO SAVE THE WORLD!

  8. Horrible!!! Electric always goes out you can see trees leaning on the lines for two years now!! They seem lazy and minimal was not expecting this when I moved to cass county.

  9. You guys are ridiculous. 40% reconnect fee is ridiculous. Less than 30 days past due equals 40% reconnect fee is ridiculous. Reconnecting from your office and charging $25 is ridiculous.  You really promote shopping around for a better service,  than you.

  13. The install date for our fiber kept changing but we understand as its a major undertaking also the construction crew got pulled away to help with Flint water issue(little more important than my internet). We have the internet now and its been fantastic, no issue since installed!

  14. Shutoff my gas. Saying I owe $1084.17 for the month of July. Its ridiculous how much is propane. Mind you I paid June and it’s the 29th of July and they shut me off. 16 year honorable vet of the US Navy and this is how they treat me and my family. Called afterhouse and sat on hold for an hour.

  16. Well I have their internet it’s good and I don’t usually lose a connection without a outage alert I get on my phone which is nice, nice to have an app from electric company that works. There customer support is very good as well.

  17. The internet hub app is nice, but the electric hub never remembers my account information so I have to type in my debit card number every time. You also can’t schedule a payment for a later date, it takes it right when you do it.

  21. Never had a problem with Midwest. The internet app hub is very easy to access and use. No fiber yet but soon I hope. Electrical outages are usually short lived and when they are extended its normally due to a large storm and extended outages can’t be helped.

  40. EXCELLENT COMPANY! They do a great job in every way, electric, fiber and Tech support. Today Jordan helped us set up a voice mail on our phone that is now being used for us working from home, he was top notch! I noticed many of the negative reviews were from people that didn’t pay their bills, go figure.

  57. I love their internet service; best speeds I’ve used outside of Denver. I love that it has backup power if the power does happen to go out so internet remains active.
