  4. You will not be able to do all of your shopping here, but there are many nearby places to shop. Check the merchant listing before going here.

  8. Ugh. Stay away. If you’re thinking that Hawaii is like the way it’s depicted in the travel ads… Think again. Oahu is like LA plopped into the middle of the Pacific Ocean. If that’s what you want, then go for it. But realize that the “locals” want you to spend every penny you have, then get the heck out. They hate you.

  9. Love this Target… Store is always clean.. all sales associates are all helpful.. and friendly.. Very nice to have a Target at the west side..

  10. Very Nice but they must have better control of their handicap seating. I am a disabled veteran an noticed that 90% of the handicap seats were taken by non-handicap folks

  11. First time I went here with my family to watch moana, it was a great place! Plus, I love the macarons at La Tour Cafe, mostly the pineapple and guava flavored macarons. Gyu-Kaku is another great place if you’re craving for a little Japanese food.

  12. There is something for everyone at Kapolei Commons. A variety of stores, nail salon, and eateries (i.e. Down to Earth, Target, Petco, Ross, Office Max, Dunkin Donuts, Genki Sushi, Aloha Salads, Gyokaku, Bic Taco…) There is also a movie theater.

  13. Went to DB Grill for lunch. The poke was fresh and so delicious. I had a cocktail that tasted like blueberries. I cant remember the name though haha

  14. The only thing missing here is a good bookstore and a real Starbucks (the one inside Target isn’t really a hang out and take care of business kind of place)

  15. Went to Down to Earth in Kapolei, a very place of ours. The pic is an avocado with sprouts, Cottage cheese, and raisin to top. My delicious and healthy breakfast.

  16. Kapolei commons has everything you need in a neighborhood shopping center. You Safeway and Longs, First Hawaiian Bank, two credit unions, also a diverse array of restaurants from Pho to Korean BBQ to Chili’s and Fun Factory for the kids. Horrible entrance and exits though.

  17. Target, TJ Max, Ross, Dennys to name a few. Great place to visit and follow the Mrs around for shopping. Make sure you have rubber shoes in hand when your wife goes shopping. I’m pooped out

  18. Lots of construction. Very hard to get out of the parking lot.ot takes about 45 mins to get from the lot to the 4 way stop by the water park , maybe 1500 ft away going on farrington highway during afternoon traffic.

  19. Just like the Walmart and every other department store on the Hawaiian islands. none of them have bags to put the customers items in you will take to your car exactly what you bought in a buggy without a bag other than that it’s like any other Target

  20. Customer service was very bad. I also ordered the Buffett all you can eat and limit was 90mins my food never came out until like 30-45 mins after I placed my order which means now I only have 45 mins now to cook and eat my food and request …

  21. Great stores for shopping, several places to get a bite to eat, lots of parking and very convenient. There’s something for everyone and anyone at Kapolei Commons.

  22. New Auto Zone just opened which Kapolei needed. Kapolei Commons was very busy for a Sunday morning. Very clean Shopping Center.
Parking Lot could have been designed better for flow of traffic in and out.

  23. They need to fix the parking situation between Gyukaku and Target. This area is usually always very crowded and has few parking stalls. This area has a lot of potential to grow. There are large areas at the entrances that are unused. …

  24. Very nice outside mall, train running around for children to ride.. good shops (if you have the $$) and the fresh lemonade at the lemonade kiosk is killer!!! Squeezed fresh in front of you

  25. Target’s is crazy with all the Christmas shopping going on. Quite sad cause didn’t have the item I went there for.
Didn’t restock the items or there was out of the item. Hoover Boards😟 …

  26. Lots of good places in a small area. I had to go to Ross, and then office max and they were right next to each other. There were also places to eat including Genki, love that place!

  27. The best theatre in hawaii, hands down! Reclining seats with their own individual tables, reserved seating so you won’t have to arrive an hour early just to get good seats, and beautiful decor. The food is great if you’re into burgers and …

  28. The shopping center is new and clean. There are many stores and places to eat. There’s lots of parking but because that place gets crowded you may have to wait or park farther away from your favorite store or restaurant. The exit is kind of …

  29. Had a late breakfast at Denny’s. It was very busy and the staff there were very accommodating. Tried the garden omlett and it was good. A little oily but very good with the cherry tomatos and olives. Hashbrowns and four pieces of toast. No pictures but it was very colorful. Mahalo to the staff for their kindness and patience.

  30. It’s ok but more and more I find that Lowe’s stocks more of what I need. for example Minwax poly floor sealer instead of some more expensive generic brand, plenty of wood sander sealer instead of a few cans, plenty of sheepskin sealer …

  31. Closest mall area of a sort to the west side. Got your movies, grinds and shopping stores all in one place and pampering and massage I must add. MmHmM! Everything you need all in one area.

  32. Great selections in a clean environment. Fair prices as close to the mainland you will find in this area. Definitely visit Target for last minute food supplies and cheap souvenirs.

  33. We frequent the Kapolei Commons for so many reasons. First of all the Sleep Number Store on the corner is amazing. Then the Dunkin Donuts. And because I don’t eat meat I go to Down To Earth all the time. It is a Vegan Grocery Store. They …

  34. Nice boutique style apartments, small but nice, with swimming pool, workout room, … Strict Rental Process, almost invasive…as I’ve learned from a tenant but a nice place to live ! Pretty centrally-located to restaurants, banks, freeway on-ramp, near theaters, etc.

  35. Kapolei Commons is a convienent & great place for shopping, entertainment & food for the whole family and much more. The Best place to eat is La Tour Cafe & Down To Earth & Regal Cinemas even if your not going to see a movie you can still order food, drinks & popcorn. Aloha!

  36. We payed for a 3D movie but it wasn’t working well. So we ended up watching it as a regular movie. When we walked out after the movie we received free movie tickets from staff. They were very apologetic and the service was a wonderful experience

  37. Nice Outdoor Mall! Johnny Rockets has a game room for kids, A bit pricey but something to keep them occupied. Cheesecake Factory is still a good place to eat. It beats having to wait in a long line or wait for over an hour nothing like …

  38. My favorite shopping center in Kapolei! Target, Ross, TjMaxx, Down To Earth, restaurants & movie theater…and so much more. It continues to expand…I’m excited for Core Power Yoga! Kapolei Commons is also near Costco Kapolei & Home Depot. …

  39. Family favorite eateries..theaters..household and clothing..the Commons gas it all. Tons of parking. New to Commons is a Spectrum walk-in store front for your cable needs. Favorites are..Down to Earth, Aloha Salads, Paniolo’s, Regal Theaters, Genki Sushi.

  40. A beautiful shopping destination. Lots of retail and food choices to choose from. Ample parking. Sometimes there is a slow down entering and exiting the shopping center because of the logistics. Overall, a great place for locals and visitors.

  41. Love the new Kapolei commons! The parking is a little nuts though, be sure to look before crossing! Everytime we go, it feels like we’re going to be runover by someone speeding through the main crosswalk. Other than that we live the shops in and around the area! Great place to get all your shopping needs taken care of.

  42. I enjoy this shopping center because it has a lot of stores in close proximity. Target is at one end, and it also has TJ Maxx, Ross, Office Max, Subway, Sally Beauty Supply, T-Mobile, Verizon, Down to Earth, and so much more.

  43. Love coming here! ! Driving out here from Mililani just took is 20 minutes, the parking was close to the theaters ..restaurants. ..and shops! Regal Theaters offer the best .comfortable. reclining seats with food trays a must when you’re indulging in popcorn and other goodies. .

  44. Web site says it closes at 9pm but they close at 8pm. Can’t make money if you ain’t open. Workers don’t know what they selling. On top of all this they stop making donuts so don’t expect to get what’s on the menu if you get there after 6pm. I hope they know it’s not just the coffee.

  45. It sucks that the theater doesn’t have its own large parking. Instead people naturally park by tj max and target.
There are several right turn entrances to get to the shopping center. Depending …

  46. Nice plaza with a Target, fancy movie theater, and great little shops. They are still expanding here with more stores to come. The problem with this is the crowds are getting bigger and bigger as this place is becoming more popular.

  47. Feels like your in Las Vegas. Stores are spread across large territory in a way is good and spacious. If you like to feel an different atmosphere and environment than the cramped malls of downtown then this is one location worth visiting. Mostly mainland chain stores and a bunch of eateries.

  48. Good seats. Often really long lines so come early if you want food. Infants are not allowed in rated R movies because they ruin others viewing experience. As if I would stay in the theater if my baby cries. But I guess some have ruined it for us all. Bummer.

  49. I really enjoy the businesses here: Regal theater, TJ Max, Target, Down to Earth, La Tour Cafe, Bic Tacos. The only problem I sometimes have is the parking or lack of parking, though this isn’t always the case.

  50. I like knowing just who has what. Always finding good deals on ANYTHING I need. Whether its Target, Office Max, Pets or steals n deals at the other shops, great food finds, you dont leave empty handed and your wallet isnt empty either. LOTS of parking!

  51. Half of their parking area is under construction for yet another new building for another new tenant or two or three. Parking is a major challenge. They are going to have to figure something out soon about this major problem or start losing …

  52. I love love love the chairs! You can easily get so comfortable that you might fall asleep on a boring movie lol. The chairs are wide and the walkways are wide enough so you won’t be bumping into people’s legs. The only problem I have is …

  53. Went Petco… Shopping is fun but I don’t like where we drive in & out & since I no go there often I get confused on where the exits… One time didn’t realize how sharp the turn & climbed the meridian

  54. We are staying in Makaha Valley Towers and love the many choices at this shopping center. We visited Target and several smaller boutique shops. There are also several restaurants in the center. We found everyone friendly and helpful. It is not overly crowded and easy to access from the freeway.

  55. Convenient and fast growing plaza with restaurants and stores and a great movie theatre. This shopping center is new and still growing, plenty more stores and restaurants to come still. Easy to access from H1 and plenty of parking.

  56. It would help if the security staff could speak English clearly. Difficult to understand and at times sounded rude. But otherwise, the food court area is nice, stores are conveniently located about. Try Five-Guys for a great burger and free peanuts.

  57. Love this place. Regal, Gyu-kaku, Marshall, Target, Down to Earth, Ross, Genki sushi , Petco, OfficeMax, Aloha Salad, Dunkin’s to name a few. And all the special events are held here craft and food truck etc.. It’s the most popular place for everyone.

  58. Once you go to this theater, this will be your favorite! It’s so spacious, clean, and of course you can recline your seat…and the person in front, is still not in your way. Staff people are so friendly and helpful, just makes this experience even that much better!

  59. I was surprised on the amount of parking here. The place is developing and despite all this, it got a lot of choices for stores. I particularly like coming here on my weekends to go walk around here. I love the atmosphere. If you live in this area, you are doing a disservice by not coming here.

  60. A decent target similar to others I have seen. They are over priced on food but then again so is the island. They do have a decent amount of variety for clothes and baby stuff and even toys. The story never looks disheveled or dirty, which is a good thing.

  61. This little area right off the road can keep you busy for hours. From food to entertainment they have a great selection. The theater there has self service and reclining chairs with arm rests that are super cumfortable and if you are …

  62. Honestly this location is a combination of my most shopped at stores. It’s very convenient and I’m there frequently. This is not the place to go if you are looking for something local; this is a central round up of several large chain stores available on the mainland.

  63. Right off the highway, it’s an easy stop for value shopping. Target is there, and also TJ Maxx, Ross, and Marshall’s, some within walking distance of each other. Denny’s, Duncan Donuts, plus a bunch of little shops and other restaurants, …

  64. May need traffic lights to get out of the parking lot quicker. I often find myself stuck at a stop sign to exit. The main road has too much traffic congestion to escape in a timely manner. However entering and parking is spot on easy to accomplish.

  65. Always like going to the West side to see what is New and just to see how much difference to the stores we have that Kapolei has. For example: Safeway, Target, Foodland, Walmart and others are. There are noticable differences.

  66. Service, food and ambiance is perfect! Price is a little bit on the high side but who cares food are yummy! And oh! the draft beer is very good! I have to come back for their wine😉I’m talking about Eating House 1849 !!! …

  67. It’s nice to have the reclining seats and it seems clean. The food SUCKS! The food service lines are super slow, show up at least 45 minutes early to get treats. Buy your tickets online waaayyyy ahead of time. Don’t bother ordering from the menu, what you actually get is horrible. Sit in the back row or you’re going to get sick.

  68. They have all the pokémon cards here lol …… I see people coming every morning waiting to see if the lady opens the boxes…. I noticed this Target has more Pokemon people at it…. 🤙🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫 …

  69. Kapolei Commons is the perfect place for your shopping needs. They have several places to buy low priced, but quality clothing. When you’re done clothes shopping, you can treat yourself to dinner and a movie just across the parking lot. If you aren’t that hungry, they have a great spot for coffee and dessert.

  70. We went there last night to see Tarzan. The theater is off the hook! The recliners are amazing! Their popcorn is great! The lady taking our stubs was super friendly! Because the theater is still so new everything is super clean! I’m totally …

  71. While my favorite stores aren’t here this shopping center is fairly easy to get in and out of and there is abundant parking. You can’t say the same about most other shopping centers on the island.

  72. On our first visit to Kapolei Commons we did a little bit of everything. Initially we visited here so I could buy a bed at Sleep Number. That was a very easy and pleasant experience. We then walked to Marshall’s and discovered right next …

  73. This is my son’s and my favorite theater. Recliner seats, need I say more? Ok, lots of parking, clean and modern facility and friendly staff, gets a fiver from me! Buy your tickets online and stroll right in. A great place to enjoy the latest movies.

  74. Always lively here. I usually go to Petco and walk up and down and sometimes go to the theater. Conveniently close to where I live. There’s also a target which is nice. Huge parking lot. A few food choices to choose from. Open mall, very nice.

  75. Regal Theater is awesome concession stand takes a while to get through are sodas On Target LOL no pun intended awesome popcorn. The staff served us with a smile even on the holiday I’ll be back

  76. Love the location, accommodation of drink choices in fountain machine, reclining theater seats, choice of seats, easy access to seats and arena landscape so you can always see the screen from all seats! Food and tickets kind of pricey …

  77. Kapolei Commons is a well organized mall with abundant parking. My last visit was to Safeway where I parked about 25 steps away from the door. A good aspect was that Safeway was still open at 11PM with most common items available. Kapolei …

  78. It’s like Alice in Wonderland. All the items one needs to buy is centered in one place. You not only get great low prices, you get
Restaurants that you love and the exercise all in one. What a place to buy that …

  79. Our visit to Target and Petco was awesome.
Received really good assistance from the associates in Target. And the Groomer from Petco who handled our Baby girl ” Koko ” was so awesome and sweet that words can’t explain..Her name was “Haila “and we recommend her highly..

  80. Great theater with electric reclining seats you reserve. Concession line doesn’t take long and the parking is decent. Restaurants outside are good and provide alcohol that you cannot take inside the theater. No alcohol is served inside.

  81. They’ve put a lot of good stores in Kapolei Commons in the past 10 years, and it seems like they’re always adding more. Once upon a time, it was pretty much just Target, the sporting goods store (R.I.P.), a few restaurants, etc. Now it’s a …

  82. Lld traffic, l was delivering to Down to Earth. Easy to get into and out of the shopping center. Plenty of parking. Good variety of stores, both big box and local. Several places to eat as well.

  83. My favorite movie theater! Best seats and wide selection of food for saw! There’s a restaurant just outside the doors that if you show your movie ticket you get a free appetizer! ( maybe only on Saturday) not too sure. But this place is always very clean and nice staff!

  84. Beautiful shopping center. We have made the drive to Kapolei Commons many times the movie theater there is our favorite. There has always been plenty of parking and if hungry there are a variety of restaurants. I highly recommend a visit here.

  85. It was very busy, had to park at the end of the row just to shop at Target! Thank goodness the clerks were retrieving carts. Gorgeous day for shopping 🛍and being outdoors 🤩🥰 …

  86. Compared to the others that I have been to, this one was very much below the standards I have seen from the others on the island. Most of the shelves were naked, and it was not the overall friendly attitude I have come to expect from Ross on the island.

  87. Target, where you pay a little extra to be much more sanitary than Walmart. A lot of their food was 1-2 person dinners, good quality, with superb instructions. I get the feeling they are stocking more for elders and 20-30’s living alone in lockdown. Senior shopping hours are 7-9 AM, Tuesday/Thursday. Don’t forget your bags in the car.

  88. The mall is definitely okay it’s different and it’s in the device environment that it’s it. A little harder to get around when it’s raining because it’s not enclosed but very much beautiful during the sunny day the food and the environment …

  89. I love this Target. Their pharmacy is extremely friendly and helpful. I also just made great new friends at Office Depot. They are all very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable!!

  90. Always love Target. Especially the drive up option. Not a fan of the fact they use two full parking rows for drive up orders. It’s never that busy they need two entire rows.

  91. As a shopping center, there’s not much here. May be better in the future when more vendors move in but thereare a lot of empty locations that are still just bare dirt. A huge parking lot that just sprawls between the buildings. I think the …

  92. Lots of parking. Good selection of stores.

One downfall is that all parking exits require a lefthand turn and so getting out can be hard during peak shopping days (leading up to T-day & Christmas especially.)

  93. One of the nicer open malls on the island. Clean, secure and modern. Looks to be newly built with numerous anchor store brands mixed with smaller shops and restaurants. I would go there day or night and feel safe. Even has a twelve screen theater that I would go to once the pandemic allows, currently closed.

  94. Great selection of restaurants to either grab and go or dine in at, plus other stores, and shops that meets most people’s needs (Target, Marshall’s, and Ross). Plus if you need a massage, new make-up, or just want to take in the newest movie in reclining chairs, Kapolei Commons has what your looking for.

  95. Love sll the stores and the variety of food places they have here. They’ve got an organic grocery store, Target, TJ Maxx, Marshall’s, Dennys, Ulta, A Sushi place, A yogurt place, Starbucks inside of Target. Etc.

  96. I loved Targets. If you didn’t want to wear a mask, over the intercom you will hear; “if you don’t wear a mask, there’s other means of shopping at Target.” No none sense

  97. It’s been awhile since we’ve been to the theater due to COVID, and I was pretty disappointed at the quality of service and the state of the theater. Napkins are very hard to come by (almost like they don’t provide them anymore). The seats …

  98. 1st time to this location today. The store is currently being renovated and moved around. Even so all the items were easy to find. The staff was knowledgeable and eager to help. Location was clean and def will visit again. Take advantage of their rewards plans and savings they add up.

  99. I mostly come here for Target which is out of my way but well worth the drive! This plaza has a lot of other places to shop too so I can hit more than one place at once. Well kept and lots of parking too

  100. Had the pleasure of dining at DB Grill. The food was delicious and with a Korean flare. My compliments to the chef on the Kim Chee Pancakes and Mushroom Bao. I am not a vegetarian but these dishes are fabulous. Highly recommend the food …

  101. The parking lot is somewhat difficult since there are so many popular places in the same plaza, but the Target and movie theater are great and we love Teriyaki Madness, so we suffer through the madness!

  102. I like shopping at Target compared to the other stores. My only issue today was that the hand sanitizer by the exit door was empty when I tried to use it. The associates were beneficial and assisted me in finding my items.

  103. This store was very crowded and messy. Lines were not too long. Adequate staff for the number of customers. Prices seemed about $2 more per item than other similar businesses.

  104. Once again your typical shopping mall. Plenty of variety catering for your every day needs, markets, eateries and retail stores with plenty of parking.

  105. This shopping area, like all other shopping areas should have a payphone for its customers to use incase they need to make a phone call. In my case, my phone battery died and I had no way to make a call I really needed to make.

  106. The reclining seats are spacious and comfy. Bring a little throw blanket, it tends to get a little chilly. It’s also nice to share and cuddle for date night! Each seat has its own tray that makes snacking on popcorn easy;).

  107. The security guards I like the Gestapo they follow you around there’s a little lounge and they said don’t sit there it’s loitering but then that’s what the purpose of the lounge is where the restroom is then the streets are too narrow it’s …

  108. Store got busy and shelves are empty for Christmas decorations. Not sure if empty from people purchasing or empty from not stocked yet. Asked associate about more Christmas lights and was told they are out…strange?? Halloween just ended….hmmmm…

  109. Ordered a few shelves and picked them up curbside. The Curbside Team working that day was awesome. Not only did they bring it to my car, they loaded everything into the trunk of my car! 🤙🏼 …

  110. Aloha all, great open strip mall that is always expanding. They have so many great options for shopping from make up to clothing. You can also enjoy a great movie and have dinner or drinks before. And so much parking that it’s never an issue.
