Ugh. Stay away. If you’re thinking that Hawaii is like the way it’s depicted in the travel ads… Think again. Oahu is like LA plopped into the middle of the Pacific Ocean. If that’s what you want, then go for it. But realize that the “locals” want you to spend every penny you have, then get the heck out. They hate you.

First time I went here with my family to watch moana, it was a great place! Plus, I love the macarons at La Tour Cafe, mostly the pineapple and guava flavored macarons. Gyu-Kaku is another great place if you’re craving for a little Japanese food.

Regal theaters will be opening late Spring 2016, along with a few new restaurants. That will be a much needed boost to this shopping complex.

Kapolei commons has everything you need in a neighborhood shopping center. You Safeway and Longs, First Hawaiian Bank, two credit unions, also a diverse array of restaurants from Pho to Korean BBQ to Chili’s and Fun Factory for the kids. Horrible entrance and exits though.

Feels like your in Las Vegas. Stores are spread across large territory in a way is good and spacious. If you like to feel an different atmosphere and environment than the cramped malls of downtown then this is one location worth visiting. Mostly mainland chain stores and a bunch of eateries.

We are staying in Makaha Valley Towers and love the many choices at this shopping center. We visited Target and several smaller boutique shops. There are also several restaurants in the center. We found everyone friendly and helpful. It is not overly crowded and easy to access from the freeway.

Great theater with electric reclining seats you reserve. Concession line doesn’t take long and the parking is decent. Restaurants outside are good and provide alcohol that you cannot take inside the theater. No alcohol is served inside.

Lld traffic, l was delivering to Down to Earth. Easy to get into and out of the shopping center. Plenty of parking. Good variety of stores, both big box and local. Several places to eat as well.
My favorite movie theater! Best seats and wide selection of food for saw! There’s a restaurant just outside the doors that if you show your movie ticket you get a free appetizer! ( maybe only on Saturday) not too sure. But this place is always very clean and nice staff!
Beautiful shopping center. We have made the drive to Kapolei Commons many times the movie theater there is our favorite. There has always been plenty of parking and if hungry there are a variety of restaurants. I highly recommend a visit here.

Extremely busy hard to find parking
Compared to the others that I have been to, this one was very much below the standards I have seen from the others on the island. Most of the shelves were naked, and it was not the overall friendly attitude I have come to expect from Ross on the island.
Target, where you pay a little extra to be much more sanitary than Walmart. A lot of their food was 1-2 person dinners, good quality, with superb instructions. I get the feeling they are stocking more for elders and 20-30’s living alone in lockdown. Senior shopping hours are 7-9 AM, Tuesday/Thursday. Don’t forget your bags in the car.
I went to Denny’s this weekend and service was excellent!
Had a great time at the movie in the park event. Great way to spend time with loved ones in the community.
Wide Variety of stores, somewhat helpful staff in these stores, and overall a nice little mini-mall you can enjoy at any given point during the week.
Target has a lot of items in their store . They have a good grocery store where you can buy food if you are staying in a hotel. Lots of parking

Lots of parking. Good selection of stores.
One downfall is that all parking exits require a lefthand turn and so getting out can be hard during peak shopping days (leading up to T-day & Christmas especially.)
One of the nicer open malls on the island. Clean, secure and modern. Looks to be newly built with numerous anchor store brands mixed with smaller shops and restaurants. I would go there day or night and feel safe. Even has a twelve screen theater that I would go to once the pandemic allows, currently closed.
Great selection of restaurants to either grab and go or dine in at, plus other stores, and shops that meets most people’s needs (Target, Marshall’s, and Ross). Plus if you need a massage, new make-up, or just want to take in the newest movie in reclining chairs, Kapolei Commons has what your looking for.
Love sll the stores and the variety of food places they have here. They’ve got an organic grocery store, Target, TJ Maxx, Marshall’s, Dennys, Ulta, A Sushi place, A yogurt place, Starbucks inside of Target. Etc.
Nice for shopping dining and entertainment. Love the theaters here.

1st time to this location today. The store is currently being renovated and moved around. Even so all the items were easy to find. The staff was knowledgeable and eager to help. Location was clean and def will visit again. Take advantage of their rewards plans and savings they add up.
I mostly come here for Target which is out of my way but well worth the drive! This plaza has a lot of other places to shop too so I can hit more than one place at once. Well kept and lots of parking too

Got to do my Christmas shopping all in one place
The parking lot is somewhat difficult since there are so many popular places in the same plaza, but the Target and movie theater are great and we love Teriyaki Madness, so we suffer through the madness!
I like shopping at Target compared to the other stores. My only issue today was that the hand sanitizer by the exit door was empty when I tried to use it. The associates were beneficial and assisted me in finding my items.
This store was very crowded and messy. Lines were not too long. Adequate staff for the number of customers. Prices seemed about $2 more per item than other similar businesses.
Once again your typical shopping mall. Plenty of variety catering for your every day needs, markets, eateries and retail stores with plenty of parking.
This shopping area, like all other shopping areas should have a payphone for its customers to use incase they need to make a phone call. In my case, my phone battery died and I had no way to make a call I really needed to make.
The target store at kapolei Commons, It’s a good place to use the restroom.

Great places to eat and shop and see a movie and take care of internet and mobile at spectrum
The reclining seats are spacious and comfy. Bring a little throw blanket, it tends to get a little chilly. It’s also nice to share and cuddle for date night! Each seat has its own tray that makes snacking on popcorn easy;).

Not bad mol, with a large car park. All the desired stores are under hand. But, at least Target, T.J.maxx and others work until late, find a taxi after 9 pm is already problematic.

Store got busy and shelves are empty for Christmas decorations. Not sure if empty from people purchasing or empty from not stocked yet. Asked associate about more Christmas lights and was told they are out…strange?? Halloween just ended….hmmmm…

Aloha all, great open strip mall that is always expanding. They have so many great options for shopping from make up to clothing. You can also enjoy a great movie and have dinner or drinks before. And so much parking that it’s never an issue.
