The ER is not very good. They do not have doctors in this ER. As busy as our island is with people coming in from around the world, one would expect this hospital with our affluent residents to have physicians staffing the ER as is done in almost every other hospital in and out of Maine.

I injured my wrist and was in severe pain but I had to wait for 2 hours in ER for someone to come and ask if i was doing okay or not. After almost 3 hours a doctor came to see what happened to me, again had to wait for 30 minutes for someone to come and take me for my Xray. So much disappointed with the service.

Do not go here. It is a terrible place with terrible service. The ER refused to help my girlfriend and did not listen to her. They treated her for something she clearly did not have, left her with nothing but a slip of paper and a copay. The intake security guard was not very understanding.
