I had surgery yesterday on my shoulder and today although not healed, i feel great. The staff and Doctors are wonderful people i felt at home. Thank you to everyone that fixed me up.
Dr Shields is an excellent surgeon and the general staff is professional and informative. Very little wait time I was in and out within three hours and home to recover.
OAM and Dr. Pallante were super knowledgeable and caring. I definitely felt like I was getting personal service. It was the best treatment I’ve ever received for surgery and my first choice should I need surgery in the future.
Super satisfied with the level of care that I have received from Dr. Shields for my shoulder. My labrum was tore in five spots and bicep detached – Dr. Shields had it back together in 45 minutes. It has been one week and it appears to be healing nicely – can’t wait until it works again!

I had a total knee replacement surgery. They made sure I was totally prepared ahead of time for what to expect. Every person that handled my care was kind, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend them. In fact, I’ll be going back to get my other knee done.
All staff extremely attentive. The nurses are fantastic. Dr. Recknagel completely put me at ease, did his usual great job in surgery, and was very informative after surgery. I feel like I couldn’t have been in better hands.

I’ve had several surgeries done at muskegon surgery center. The attention there is much more personalized than our local hospital. The atmosphere is also much more friendly and laid-back. I would choose the Surgery Center over the hospital every time!
Went in for a scope of my knee to repair a couple meniscus tears and remove arthritis. Everyone was very friendly and easy to talk to. A very professional team. Definitely the place to go!

Love Muskegon Surgery Center, very compassionate staff, my husband had to have a mt dew and there wasn’t any so one of the girls went to the store and got him one. I wasn’t there and didn’t get her name but it made his day.
Everything was good. The people were very professional and helpful. One suggestion would be to revise the video that instructs how to mount the sling. You should wear a white shirt so the straps would show better.
