Dr. David Arkin started NAED as a solo practice back in 1989 and over the years as the demand for our services increased we have grown to six physicians who are all board certified Endocrinologists. In addition, our physicians are supported by a team of midlevel providers consisting of a Physicians Assistant, 3 Nurse Practitioners (one being a certified Diabetes Educator) and a Dietician. Our Diabetes Education Program has been recognized by the American Diabetes Association as meeting national standards for Diabetes Self -Management Education. All of our providers are participating members of the American Diabetes Association as well as the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and The Endocrine Society. 4. This medical practice has become one hot mess. I waited for Dr. Lu 1 hour and 45 minutes. All they care about is billing. Sat in a waiting room with at least 30 people during a pandemic. 7. Some doctors need to understand that it is not the patients fault when their medical equipment isn’t the newest thing on the market. It is not fair to treat people unkindly when their insurance will simply not cover new and up to date equipment. Some doctors need to learn to treat any and everyone with respect regardless.

  8. Worst place, I’d give 0 stars if I could. Waited for over 1 hour to be called back and the people working at Check Out are extremely slow and have no idea what they’re doing. Took 3 and half hours to be in and out of this place (despite …
