  1. On a prepaid service with them, I went into a negative 18cents and they charging me with 100.00 reconnect fee. This is absolutely ridiculous.

  2. Although the lady that answered the phone was very nice, eating and crunching when speaking to a customer is rather rude. I’m sure your snack can wait for 5 minutes or long enough to help the customer.

  3. They are ridiculous sending back checks that are good. They took our money said it didn’t go through cut off our power then was a hassle to cut back on. We then had to take bank statement up there to get our money back. And now we can’t pay with E-checks and it’s their faults!

Crystal rikard was VERY helpful during a stressful event..I have been out of town helping with hurricane laura aftermath and trying to setup electricity in a new place for when I got back to the area.. she helped take care of everything and was so polite, professional, and great personality. 10/10

  5. Ugh we need more options. They are over charging people….. I was gone for 3 weeks out of the month . I unplugged everything turned off the a/c completely. My bill is double the last one. I really think the just make up usage every month. They need to be more transparent about what they charge for usage.

  7. Archaic rules but the supervisor called me and set up text alerts for my bill so I don’t forget. I did have it at one star. Keep in mind they shut off your power after 5 days past due and charge $75 to reconnect. Very bad practice but the employees try to help within their set rules

  15. MLGW was cheaper, more reliable, and better to work with. These people will cut you off for a 50 dollar power bill. The great part is, they do it remotely, and still charge you a $75 fee. My power goes out every time it storms. If you are going to use them you need to have a generator to run when they have outages.

  16. Living in the area for more than 20 years, I think this electric company is the best. Once in a while, we lost power during the heavy storms/tornadoes but they worked hard to restore the power quickly. If I had problem, they responded quickly.
