  1. Called just to ask questions. Got NO real answers. Person I spoke to was not friendly at all. Sounded like she could’ve cared less about what I was asking.

  2. Used this 4 years ago. Was covered by insurance. Just got an alert from the credit bureaus that I was sent to collections without any attempt to resolve the “debt” prior. Such a joke.

  3. Heads up—when you call and ask for Billing and they transfer you to Billing, make sure that you tell the Billing department, which is run by a larger corporation, that you are calling from NOVASOM. Otherwise, it will be very confusing.

  4. So my doctor mentions a sleep study to me next thing I know I have some sketchy restricted # calling me telling me they are dropping equipment off that I’m getting billed for.. Good Lord I think we skipped a few steps here you know like me saying ok?

  5. Was never told that this company was out of network. Charged $300 dollars. Don’t trust this company. Next time i will do a hospital sleep study, which will surely cost more but is covered.

  6. Horrible company. They sent me the equipment unexpectedly while I was out of town. Apparently they only allow you to have it for 7 days. Calls quickly went from helpful to threats. Use anyone else.

  7. Novasom indicated they would handle coordination with insurance provider. They did not. Sleep studies may require preauthorization. Don’t rely upon novasom doing it… they don’t… and YOU are stuck with the bill.

  8. My husband had study by this company and never got any sleep because the machine keep telling him to adjust nose sensor. He never moved and it would keep saying to adjust nose sensor. It keep me awake all night with this, voice telling to adjust sensor. Pathetic outfit.

  9. Extremely disappointed in this company!! I’ve been lied to by thier customer service reps for 3 days. They’re telling me that the machine has been delayed less than an hour from my home at the UPS facility due to bad weather. There’s been NO bad weather there.

They seem to think they know what they are talking about when they don’t. I asked the man from Novasom who called me with an attitude his name and he refused! What kind of business is yall running?

  11. Customer service who set up the test are the only reason that this company gets a score above zero. Billing and insurance are incompetent at best. Deceitful individuals who tried to intimidate me when I tried to resolve the billing problems. Find another company to use.

  13. Horrible company to work with. They took a very long time to get me the equipment. Hard to reach customer service. They gave me wrong info that cost me a lot of money. Would never recommend using them. Still waiting for results. Not to hopeful, the equipment did not seem to work correctly. We will see.

  23. The whole process was great.. well I mean as great as wearing a machine to sleep could be but I have no complaints at all everything was great.. The customer service reps were all so sweet and helpful. I had the device shipped to and picked up from my doorstep and the instructions were very clear. No complaints here.

  25. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews to be honest. I had a very good experience with the multiple staff members I talked to, had no issues setting up the machine or using it, and shipping it back was easy. Compared to going to a sleep center, this was 10 times better and less stressful.

  34. Horrible test. Breathing device is absolutely awful. It was so uncomfortable that after an hour and half of trying to sleep it took it off.
