On top of having excellent ice cream this company has been a staple of the Aurora area for over 50 years. In fact in the 1970s and ’80s we had Oberweis deliver milk and OJ weekly in a stainless steel ice chest cooler right outside our front door. I couldn’t wait for delivery day as a child. I waited 45 min in the drive trough to get 3 kids ice creams. While people kept going inside and coming out quickly. I complained and they told me there is 4 staff members taking orders inside while only 2 in the drive trough. Poor management honestly.
This place is a bit pricey but ALWAYS good. No complaints. The crew is always so friendly and helpful. I like the way they pack my order.
Every once in a while, you gotta hit up oberweis factory shop. The freshest ice cream available. Prices are premium but the quality is the best. I like their chocolate malt but everything is delicious. Mint chip is one of their best ice creams. Just desserts, so no food.

By far the BEST icecream you could have in your life. Recommend it 100%. My daughter got a free balloon and you get to see part of the manufacturing process and quality testing. Great setting to teach children about the process. My favorite was apple pie sundae. The small one is enough for two not very “sweet tooth” people.
