OCOM North Reviews ( 29 )

  1. Very snooty, upiddy nurses..after no water/food for 12 hours, after surgery had no food for me..after pointing this possible oversight, they did provide 2 pieces of bread with on piece of meat inside and a smalk bag of chips..wow..

  2. All staff was excellent and very helpful. I had anterior hip replacement surgery. Dr. Reddick is excellent. Accommodations and very caring staff. 5 star. I would recommend this place to anyone.

  3. By far the best hospital I have stayed at. The staff is so wonderful and made me feel like I was at home. I highly recommend all staff members and the doctors. I can’t wait to have my knee replaced in three months and be back around the staff!!!!

  4. I’m agoraphobic and suffer from extreme anxiety issues but I got to give Credit to the OCOM Team it couldn’t have gone any better from Check In Labs EKG COVID-Pre testing, Every individual was professional personable compassionate …

  5. Dr. Boeckman is fantastic alnong with his staff. You may have to wait but it is because he is a Dr that listens to your needs. I will and have recommended him to many people. I want to take this opportunity to thank you for being such a great person.

  6. Incompetent with communication. Scheduled for surgery. Never heard a word from them. I called, they blamed the Dr. come to find out, it was cancelled. No one bothered to tell me. This is the second issue I have had with either a Dr or the hospital, (ran by the Dr.’s) Shame on me. Won’t happen again.

  7. I had back surgery at this facility. Everyone from the doctors to housekeeping were fantastic. This is somewhere I would refer my family and friends. Though there are times when the wait is not super fast, I have never had to wait more than 30 minutes (and being Oklahoma city…that isn’t that bad).

  8. These people can’t even read the Dr’s orders. I was scheduled for an MRA and they got me set up for an MRI. I had to tell them it was the wrong test. Before I left I was suppose to have a CD to give to my Dr. They didn’t give me the CD, so …

  9. I was very dissatisfied. Was there for over two hours to have a minor procedure and pretty much just ended up wasting my time. I couldn’t understand why they did an X-ray. Only was told what I already knew. Did not schedule for the …

  10. It was ok not great doctors and staff were just ok. The wait time was long and toke forever. Once the xray technician forgot me for almost thirty minutes. Then they would not listen to me when I said my wrist was hurting. Then the …

  11. My daughter had MRI completed at 6:45pm. The Drs office did not have results by 10am next day. I called and spoke with Shyan in medical records at OCOMM. She was able to push through to get readings sent over to our Drs office as promised for our appt and she called me back to let me know. Big thank you to Shyan!!

  12. Very poor service and communication. One person contradicts what the last person says so really you have no clue what’s going on. Difficult for family members trying to check on loved ones. Lie to patients about visitors, lie to family …

  13. The surgical and hospital staff are great and very caring about their patients and job. The business office however is very difficult to work with. We have wonderful Federal insurance but they want their charges paid up front and if you pay …

  14. My sister had last minute surgery, even though it was a long day for her…. Hungry, thirsty, tired and in so much pain. Last on the roster isn’t fun for anyone! There was a sweet pregnant nurse that made the last bit of the wait so much …

  15. I wasn’t seen until an hour and 15 minutes past my appointment time. I had to schedule the appointment weeks out but they can apparently take as much time as they’d like. Then, when I was seen (for an improperly healed wrist post-fracture) …

  16. I just had a knee replacement here in early December. The staff, nurses, and doctors were very friendly and quick to address our needs. Surgery is never a fun experience and I have had several, but this was a good experience. I would not be afraid to go back, or recommend OCOM and Southwest Ortho to someone needing knee replacement.

  17. I don’t usually write reviews, but in a world filled with negativity, I wanted to give credit where credit is due. Unfortunately, that is RARELY in a healthcare setting. From the moment we walked in the door, I noticed something different …

  18. I had a 3 minor surgeries at OCOM North, and my last surgery at the S. Walker location. The North location was fine, but when I went to the south location, I was amazed at how wonderful they were! They were so user friendly, I was …

  19. They did not get me help for my anxiety attacks. I have them when I see blood needles cutting devices. They didnot give me a 10mg valium pryer to my surgery on my hand. I asked the person on my prescreening phone call to do this for me and …

  20. Dr. Avant did my mom’s shoulder surgery yesterday and he’s great! He’s very knowledgeable and informative and has a very good bedside manner, and he takes the time to listen to and answer your questions.

  21. Never in my life been so unimpressed with a doctor’s office. From the very first visit we’ve been given false and misleading information, nothing is consistent from one employee to the next. Appointments go hours past their scheduled time, …

  22. I would give them negative stars but it is not an option. In July my husband was scheducled for a procedure in mid September. He got a call at 5:00 THE NIGHT BEFORE telling us the outragious amount due for just the hospital portion. …

  23. I have never gone into a medical procedure before and everyone who helped me was very kind and helped me relax and feel safe. The woman who administered my IV was named Patti and she was so sweet and explained a few things to me that had me worried.
