Horrible business. They understand nothing. Zero notice. Zero phone calls. Zero note on door. They need to be sued. Horrible horrible awful service people
They have the most ridiculous way of doing things. Instead of making things easy for people, they make you jump through hoops. This place has always been horrible to deal with and I wish i could give zero stars instead of one.
They charge a fee to pay online. None of the other companies charge a fee to pay online. They are the only place that I have to pay a service fee to pay online!
I have had a water leak for a month now, the first week i was told i didnt have a leak, second week it was my toilet, and now i am told it is on my side of the meter so it is my problem, to call a plumber. Now they want $30 dollars to come look again. Horrible company, Horrible customer service.
Of all our utilities in this community this one’s the VERY BEST to me! I highly recommend it. It’s either Paducah Water Works or dig a well or a place for cistern in your backyard or on your property. LOL.
Refused to help me set up service over the phone. Could not get there website to work and they just told me “it does work sir.” So now I will drive across country to a house that has no water for the weekend, until I get to grace there office with my presence Monday morning.
Typical bureaucratic utility company. Their web site and payment systems are 20 years behind – everything is difficult with them. Although I must say most of the employees are refreshingly pleasant and kind to deal with.
They don’t tell you bout certain things even when they wave them and then when it happens again they tell you bout them and expect you to know. They are sorry people to have to do business with. They don’t give disconnect warnings or anything. It would probably be a better place do deal with or do business with if dogs ran it.
I was at their office yesterday. I found Misty extremely helpful and pleasant. I am very thankful for her help today! I noticed someone said their website does not work. I had trouble getting it to work with Safari. When I switched to chrome it worked great. Have a great day!

Some 4’11” loser came to tell me the water was being shut off at my store. Asked for some kind of correspondence to send to the people that handle bills and he refused.
Charged me twice for a place I haven’t lived in for 2 months. I talked to customer service and they said I owed them $70, but then payment center tried to charge $130. Called right back and the rep told me this was accurate. Just be prepared to get ripped off dealing with these scam artists.
I paid $161 to get my water cut on and switched over to my new place 9 DAYS AGO and I just got settled in yesterday, went to take a shower and the water wasn’t even on. I’m PRAYING they don’t charge me twice for a connection fee, it’s ridiculous!

The three times I have had to call PW over the past 10 years has ended in an unpleasant experience. The customer service representatives that I have spoken with are very rude, probably not worth 1 star when compared to other local utility providers that provide good customer service and respectful people.
Applied to have water put in my name online only to be told to come to the office. Every other utility company can do it over the phone, and in 2020 Paducah Water didn’t require you to come in the office. Ridiculous

Might as well remove the pay online feature. None of it works and impossible to verify account with identical information “as it appears on the bill” the only feature that works is the one you call and that charges a convenience fee. Of course! I Can’t wait to get off of Paducah water!

I just called to change the name on an account. They told me to do an app online. Then got a email saying they were going to call me. Makes no sense. I called the gas and had it switched in 10 minutes. Now I have to go to the office.

Easy to set up services and the rates are fairly low. You can pay your bill over the phone and in other ways. Super convenient.
