  1. Make this your last resort as far as clinics go. The staff is friendly enough but they are niaev and inexperienced. The program director shouldn’t be allowed to direct traffic. M hi hi hi

  4. Had a friend in the program, and I live across the street. What A dump! Friend was no better after the program and committed suicide shortly thereafter..I suppose it serves its purpose as a fund generator. Would be excellent if a Penn State Hershey facility only. Pinnacle Health is the worst!

  5. Worst experience of my life, the food was horrible, the bathroom supplies made my hair feel nasty and they didn’t give me a sponge so I had to use a washcloth to wash my body with, I asked for another toothbrush 3 different times because I …

  6. If i could give this place zero stars i would. My mother was in here for suicidal thoughts, she was hospitalized in the beginning of March 2016. She was released April 11th 2016, not even 4 days later, on April 15th 2016 she was pronounced …

  9. If I could give 0 stars I would. This is the most incompetent office I have ever had the misfortune of using. Basic account information is never corrected after MULTIPLE attempts and staff notified. If you have other options for care go with them first!

  10. my best friend went here for an evaluation, which later turned out to be a month of him staying for therapy and counseling after running away multiple times. i called him every day and each time we talked he mentioned how horrible and …

  14. This place is the WORST! My daughter went there with a confirmed diagnosis. She had been on a certain type of medication before that worked well for her. Not only did the doctor, and I use that term loosely, not give her a prescription for …

  15. I found this organization to be very difficult in all matters. I recognize that they do not perform easy services but the frustration level of trying to coordinate care is really remarkable. I am an attorney and I’ve dealt with many institutions but if you have been as frustrated as a PPI

  16. I would’ve given the outpt. dept 5 stars until today. The psychiatrist that I have been working with successfully & in whom I have developed a rapport with, was taken away to another dept. I saw instead a psychiatrist that I had never seen …

  17. It is quite likely they have some success stories, but not for our son. He was in need of help right away, and we sacrificed our trust to get him to the door. They dropped the ball a number of times and did not give my son a plan to be …

  18. Ive gone through 3 doctors that improperly medicated me. This place made my overall mental health worse and I have no idea why I spent almost 10 years there. The therapists there are horrible also. Barely any improvement. I’d get better …

  21. I had to stay here for 8 days and was really happy with the level of care I received. It was open, clean, and safe. There was a ton of support, and always someone I could talk to if need be, 24/7. Lots of group and individual therapy. …

  22. If I could give this place 10 stars I would ! I was on the psychiatric until for about 7-8 days . At first I was totally scared and didn’t know what to expect coming in but everyone is so friendly ! The staff is freaking amazing and they …

  23. Not sure exactly how to rate my experience there. I’d say this not all the staff but a nice majority are kind caring and genuinely appear concerned about your mental health and well being while in their care. I spent 10 days inpatient after …

  24. The ECT staff is amazing. The program has been amazing. My adolescent daughter is off her medication and has done an entire 360. I will always be thankful for her treatment there!

  25. When I was first admitted, I thought it would be so much better than what it was. However, after being there I realized that I could have gotten much better care somewhere else. I feel as if most of the staff did not care and rushed the process. Also, we did not have true therapy and our groups were not totally effective.

  26. The ward I was on was newly renovated, though I know some have not been done yet and are outdated and shabby. I had a great experience at PPI. The staff is caring and helpful and will talk one on one with you any time. I’ve been other …

  27. Absolutely disgraceful, sorry excuse for a treatment facility. My daughter’s condition got extremely worse, while under their care. The staff was rude. Communication was piss poor to say the least. Every part of the building where patients …

  28. After being what I think was involuntarily committed by an actual crazy person, I with no real mental ailments, would never EVER recommend this place or doctors or anything. I respect doctors and people that want to genuinely help people …

  29. Terrible experience. This institution’s doctors actually pushed me closer to suicidal tendencies, for which I had to get further counsel. Have you ever needed therapy to recover from bad therapy? If you’d like to, try PPI! …

  30. Don’t come here if you really need someone to talk to. I called beginning of March for postpartum. Was told to wait. My baby passed away end of March. I didn’t get a intake until end of May only to be told to wait someone will call me with …

  31. How this is a top rated facility is beyond me. Basic things that affect people’s mental health weren’t even supervised. A child of mine didn’t shower nor brush her teeth while there. She was offered no toiletries or things to take care of …

  32. My week at PPI was the worst experience of my entire life. Patients are treated like criminals, totally degraded. Nothing but hard surfaces, stale air, foul odors, constant noise, locked doors and a facility that is both sterile and filthy. …

  33. I just got released from here after being committed by the cops. Most the staff we’re very friendly and treated you like a human not a mental patient. They accommodated my vegan diet also. It’s hard to talk to the medical doctor or …

  34. Dr. Jain was my outpatient psychiatrist. He was incredibly rude and dismissive, and belittling. I didn’t feel an ounce of compassion from him as a mental health professional. We disagreed on some things, which I understand, but he didn’t …
