Dr Thomas Findlan, owner of the Pittsburgh Eye Institute is a board certified fellowship trained eye surgeon. Our professional staff includes an optometrist, a registered nurse, certified ophthalmic technicians, and a certified optician. Pittsburgh Eye Institute accepts Medicare and participates in most health plans in the Pittsburgh area. We are now offering premium lens upgrades to those patients undergoing cataract surgery. These lenses include the astigmatism correcting Acrys of Toric. We also offer insurance-based and cosmetic-based eyelid surgery.

Long time family clients – experiences are great from the reception through the entire process. Dr’s Findlan and G are excellent at what they do.
They said that I can pick up my glasses whenever… which is good and all but my work hours don’t allow me to pick them up when they’re open… Needless to say, had to have someone else pick up my glasses for me just so I could see.
All I wanted to know is if my sunglasses came in. Two women sitting at the front desk said sign in, there was only one woman working on the glass section taking care of customers. I’m three customers back for a yes or no answer that I should be able to get at the front desk.
Had an appointment set up for weeks. Went to my appointment which was for diabetes check.. They had me down for readers..Then had an attitude about the mistake they made. I wear glasses daily, why would I say readers. will do business elsewhere.
Worst pair of glasses I’ve ever had. Started out for got to install the antis scratch film. Then the anti glaire coating started flaking off, they looked at it and said there was nothing they could do. All they said was that they would sell me new one’s. Not going back.
The woman who answered the phone at this facility was so very kind and spent so much time with me, looking into the insurance and letting us know exactly how things worked. Just fantastic! You rarely find customer service as amazing as this anymore. Beyond grateful.

The glasses are poor quality and if you pay upfront and come into the store to try them on and do not like them they do not give you the full amount that you purchased them for. Walmart gives you better quality and return policy. Trust me go to Etiquette, Vision. works, anywhere is better then this place!!!!!!
