Can anyone update the customer service? Since, there is no customer service at this location. It is just the Portland General Electric’s Headquarter.
Thank You!
As of September 2017, this location no longer has a Customer Service Desk. This has not been updated and I wish to save people the hassle of coming down to Downtown Portland for this reason.
They topped my 55 foot Douglas Fir without consulting me. The limbs they cut they didn’t cut clean and left large protruding stumps of various sizes. Unethical, shoddy work.
Reliable service! Trying to do equal pay continuously is a real problem. For those who need it they cancel you and send past due notices when your bill is weeks out. I’m not sure what they consider “past due.”
I live in Beavercreek, OR and called this morning about an outage around 9:15 a.m. Power was restored at about 9:45 a.m., just in time for my conference call with interactive web documents. …
Going on eight days with no power in the last 6 months. Every outage lasts at least 24-30 hours-these people have no business providing power to anyone and they don’t even care about that-I tried to leave zero stars but it won’t allow that
This is now the third time my power has gone out for hours in the last couple months. I am from an Island that runs a diesel generator for power and the power is more reliable there. You guys really need to step it up, this is ridiculous
Left without power for days while corrupt governor has lights on. State office has back up generators but not for the people. Wish they didn’t have a monopoly on this state. I for one will by buying solar panels the day I can. Screw the middle man, for profit electricity shouldn’t be legal anyway.
Some of the most expensive electrical rates I’ve ever encountered (my studio should not cost several hundred dollars to maintain 50 degrees or lower), and rude customer service. Sucks they seem to have a monopoly on the area, otherwise I’d pick another electric company. (If someone has a recommendation, I’m listening).
I hope the folks at PGE, the workers in the trenches that is, see this. While I (and many neighbors) lost power for 6-7 days, we are very grateful for the immediate response and hard work put in by all to restore power. Thank you!!!
After the death of a family member, the post office lost all his mail that was to be forwarded. We did not get the PGE bill for two months (our own power company sends bills every two months). When we found out what was going, on we …
Maybe an anomaly, but I called them today after I noticed my power line drop was rubbing against the trunk of a large tree in my front yard. Though I said it was NOT urgent, a repairman was here in 20 minutes. He put a tree guard on the line, and said they would move the line eventually. Not bad.
my power was out for 3 days during the february 2021 ice storm. i was expecting the power to be out double that number. there were trees, limbs and wires down everywhere in my neighborhood. hats off to the PGE crews and their hard work !!!
A tree branch fell on a line to our house and damaged some equipment and appliances in the house. PGE reimbursed us for electrician charges and were very prompt and friendly in repairing the electrical line and meter. Great customer service and tech staff!
Some of the best customer service! Shout out to Megan. Their website is pretty easy to use too, with some neat features, likes showing your home’s electricity usage per day, with that day’s temperature. You can do almost anything from their …

Despite my bill being higher than I would like it to be, I spoke with a very nice, sweet and informative customer service representative today. Sometimes it helps talk to someone who is understanding. I wish more customer service representatives were kind and patient like her 🙂
Just got off the phone with PGE rep she was lovely. Lima was her name (sp?) she was very helpful and also very kind. Hard to find kinder more helpful customer service anywhere!
sent to collections during pandemic
This office has permanently closed for payments.
CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS, BUT WHERE ELSE ARE YOU GONNA GO FOR ELECTRICITY IN PORTLAND!?
Worst customer service ever. If I didn’t have to use them I wouldn’t.
Woke
The most expensive electricity I used. If l had a choice l would change it right away.
They had a voltage that was bad and blew my 50 inch and my husbands ps3
Although they do a very good job on the electricity for the city, some people dont appreciate the value of their employees.
They give me electricity and I give them money. Its a great arrangement. Thanks
Great company for stepping up and helping with some of the stress we are having during this virus thanks god bless u all
Great company when everything is fine. Any emergency and they collapse like a house of cards
Can’t fix my power because they are still looking for independent flaggers…

Shout out to all the line workers, contractors, and operations folks responding to this snow and ice storm. Amazing job.

Shutting off power for “fire danger” but a neighborhood less than 2 miles away still has power…

Inaccurate outage reports. Makes excuses. Doesn’t speak publicly on outages that effect even 15,000+ people
