Every Tuesday morning they come down our street at 6:30am and wake everyone up!!! I hate Vacaville Recology! They act like they can’t go later in the morning. That’s total BS!!
WOULD BE REALLY NICE IF THEY STATED somewhere on their website that they ONLY TAKE STUFF FROM VACAVILLE AND DIXON! they shouldn’t be listed as Solano country if they only take it from 2 cities.
Being partially disabled, they help me from unloading my vehicle to unloading the bags to the cans, and hauling it all to the scale. They have even brought out a chair to me and insisted that I sit.
You can actually drop off your mattress for free at 855 1/2 Davis St. in Vacaville. They also accept e-waste. So no need to go to this location because you will have to pay a fee.
First I Googled this place. It said it was open weekdays 9 to 5. That was wrong . It’s Tues thru Saturday, unless you want to dispose of electronics or haz-mat stuff. That’s ONLY Saturday. Two wasted trips so far.
Dont bother coming here. They pay by check, so you have to waste more time going somewhere else to get your money. Oh, and you cant cash the check for as least 4 hours.
We wanted to recycle some outdated electronics (TVs, Old cell phones, office printers, etc) and found thus company. They took everything without any hassle. They also take old mattresses, household waste/hazardous waste. I would highly recommend them.
It was my 1st visit. Some things you might want to know if it’s going be your 1st time going. They pay you only in check form so you are required to bring an ID. They will not pay you for recyclables that do not have the labels showing the Ca CRV.
The men who work there are friendly and helpful! I usually drop off my recycling with my kids, and the men gladly help me sort out the recyclables so I don’t have to get my hands dirty. They even let my son collect the money afterwards and let him feel special. They are true gentlemen. 🙂
I have called customer service over the last several weeks and was on hold for at least 20 minutes. I also left a call back message. My call is never answered. Just needed to schedule a bulky item pick up on my recycling day as there news letter said it is in operation. I’m so frustrated. Giving up again for now!!!

Quick service, operation was well organized today. Lots of people coming and going and no one seemed to be there for very long. I like that they return the deposit you pay on motor oil, 10 cents per quart. It adds up if you have several vehicles and do your own oil.
This place is a scam you won’t be getting payed for all your recyclables. (and yes to those who think I am not knowing the difference stuff it I’ve been doing this awhile I check all my items first and well know what’s payable recyclables …
Absolutely horrible customer service and they’re lazy. They’ve broken several of my trash cans and left trash out in the street of several people in my neighborhood. When called, they claimed they’d fix it but never did.
One of my water bottles was missing part of its label. Although otherwise identical to the others (as he admitted), the guy rejected it. Score another dime for the recycling gestapo!
This company really can not perform thier duties. You’re on hold for over 30 minutes and then they hang up on you. They say they are coming but don’t show. Very disappointing to have to deal with them
