Worst internet I’ve ever had. Pretty bad customer service.
I could elaborate and write a book about my experiences but I won’t. Sadly I’m stuck with them in a rental. …
Not worth explaining
Great Service
Awful.
Horrible customer service. When I called for pricing
Wouldn’t recommend this company to a homeless person.
Great internet speeds! Two years with rocky mountain internet!
They are oversubscribed, keep away.
We’ve had this service for a year and so far ots been great!
Would not recommend to anyone. The internet is down more then it actually works and when we call they are very rude.
The worst internet company I’ve ever used in my life. I hope the new fiber internet puts them out of business.
Great reliable Internet Service! We have been with them for several years and have been extremely happy with them!
Pay for 20 mbs, get at best 10.7 sometimes. Some days you barely get 3 mbs. It is overpriced and inconsistent. They rely on no competition in rural areas.
This company doesn’t answer the phone. Been trying to reach someone for a few hours and no luck. Unfortunately they are the only service available for some of us in the Bitterroot.
I’ve had RMI for nearly 3 years and they are excellent internet service providers.
Poor customer service, expensive and regular outages. you call to get help and it rolls to voicemail which is always full. Good thing they have a pool!
Expensive and slow. Hours of operation is a joke. One could literally travel to a third world country and receive more reliable internet.
The internet is never running full speed… lag spikes constantly. Just to write this review I had to disconnect from the WiFi to even upload anything on my phone… i think as a whole everyone pays too much for an internet company that’s …
Excellent service, very friendly. Good speeds, and reliable. The internet stopped working once in two years. Rocky Mountain Internet fixed the problem the next day and no charge.
Great speed, awesome customer service. Thanks so much for offering excellent internet in the Bitterroot and for resolving problems so quickly! Love the fact that when I call, I’m calling a real person in the area who knows the mountains and the lines of site and can resolve problems quickly.
My internet went dowm after a power outage amd and when I called costumer service they were friendly. They had to send out a tech and got it fixed the same day. I am pretty happy with the service. It is hard to get good internet in many parts of the valley but I think these guys are the best choice.
I was told that someone had checked our location prior to install. When the two technicians came out (one hour past the appointment time,) they spent 30 minutes trying to get a signal. And at the end, I was told I couldn’t get service. After taking time off work to accommodate the install appointment, I was rather frustrated.
Great speeds, but very unreliable. I get disconnected at least a dozen times everyday. And it’s expensive. I’m paying $140 a month for a 20Mbs download 5Mbs upload connection. And on top of all this, they disconnect the internet for 20-30 …
Just a shoutout to RMI for providing great service to all of us forced to work from home due to COVID-19. No slowdown or speed issues, no loss of service, it just works when needed. I’m a 6 year customer, and RMI is my lifeline for my work.
The worst customer service! My family and I are new to the area & just getting them to come out and do a site inspection felt like a total inconvenience. God forbid they attempt to get more business. This house has had internet service …
I am leaving this review with the hope I get a response. I have tried calling both your numbers. The first sends me directly to voicemail, to which I never get a reply. The second number isn’t even functioning. I have had significant …
Great service in Florence, they did a great job on the install and internet quality is great! I had spectrum internet at my old house that ran about 100 mbs. Rocky Mountain runs about 25 to 30mbs or faster consistently which is plenty fast …
Paid over 900 dollars for a years service. Decided after a year to go with a different company. Called and told them to turn off the service on the 7th which is the date that our contact ends. They turned off the service on the 3rd which …
Outstanding speed, reliability and customer service. When I have had an issue which has been extremely rare they have always been able to resolve very quickly. Both my wife and I work from home in the IT field so it is paramount to have quality service.
To make this easier for people I will review this company out of 5 possible points. …
20 years ago when we moved to Montana our phone service was provided by a company called “QUEST”. They were terrible, they were so terrible in fact that eventually they declared bankruptcy and in order to stay in business and probably to …
After coordinating with R.M.I. over the past 6 months of getting specification and two site evaluations during new construction, it was time to get the installation done. I called up to get the service scheduled, then they saw that they are …
Speeds are decent but you can never fully obtain the speeds you are promised, “tech support” lady is quite rude if you do not know what she is talking about when troubleshooting the internet. We recently switched to another company because …
NEVER use this company! They are terrible in so many different ways – no customer service (it truly is the absolute worst!), spotty internet connection and lots of other bad reviews. Read them for yourself. Our internet speed rarely reached the speed we were paying for. Stay away from them!
Rocky Mtn Internet is so great. Their service is fast (My wife and I both work from home and demand a quick and reliable connection), and just as importantly you can pick up the phone and get ahold of a real person if you need something. We …
When it works its ok internet, only hits the advertised speeds in the middle of the day, during peak times on nights and weekends speeds are terrible. If your connection goes down dont expect help from them, they have the worst customer …
I have had good luck with RMI for a couple years. They are kind of expensive, but so far their service has been acceptable. Service tech Joe is very helpful and polite. …
Terrible customer service during off hours… that is why I gave them 1 Star. I live in Florence. When the service is up and running it is great. They rely on Century Link for their fiber optic cable. So when Century Link is having issues …
When the connection is working, the download speed is fine. Upload is terribly slow but that’s not unusual. Good luck if the connection goes down. They only are open 10-4, don’t answer the phone, and the mail boxes are always full. Had the …
We have been customers of RMI for a couple of months after switching from the corporate DSL provider. The speeds are consistent and three times faster than DSL. We pay more but its worth it for reliable internet service. The technicians who …
We’ve been with RMI since the very beginning. Business & personal from home. Consistent good speed. Can count on one hand the outages over these many years & they come back better & faster. I’ d rather that they didn’t answer the phone …
Service was fine ; however their upcharge at cancellation (because of moving) and their cancellation fee – which is $150 on top of the upcharge was ridiculous – especially after being a loyal customer for 8 years. I would not recommend them to anyone for future service.
Service was excellent 5 star but when I switched to Starlink they climbed over the roof of the house to their antenna leaving the mounts hanging on my roof and the bag of parts I had left them behind.
