You have to stay by your love ones but overall it’s a beautiful place to be if necessary …
I am Deaf and I had knee cap move and pop but they treated me not good and their attitudes. I don’t know what are they saying and laughing. A man gives me an attitude and talking I can’t even understand him (i am Deaf common sense) I feel unfair because I have none of communication. No interpreters.
The Pharmacy is very professional. The Pharmacist Mr. Griffeth took time and explained my medication so I would understand. The front cashiers were very nice!
I couldn’t be more pleased with the nurses and doctors who took care of me before and after my outpatient surgery. From pre-op to the moment I was discharged everyone was so professional even though they were transitioning to a new system.
Horrible experience!! My teenager had an injury and they left us in 3 different waiting rooms for hours with No results. He had suffered a concussion but they didn’t give 2 cents. Horrible!!! This is a child, a life!!!
I received outstanding care at the ER two days ago – coordination between my care team members, kept me informed of what was going on, moved with all due urgency given my situation. I am very grateful!
take your loved ones elsewhere. This is a town primiarly populated with retired people and elderly. With elderly people living here, how can you dismiss someone who goes in walking but leaves disabled without helping the person with …
More comfortable chairs please for meeting room a and b
What happened to this hospital it use to run so smoothly but now it takes 2 hours or more to be called back to a room not to mention you have to wait for the doctor to.It’s sad people would rather suffer at home than to come to an emergency …
It is impossible for anyone with mobility problems (hello this is a hospital that means most of us) to get in this place after regular business hours. You have to walk all the way around to emergency if you’re even able because the main …
Emergency room (short 26 year old tech)..was VERY HELPFUL..and the excellence carried over to personel on 3rd floor..EVEN THE CAFETERIA FOOD was perfect!!
Surgeon explained in detail when.where. and why he was doing the procedure. .TO EVERYONE JOB WELL DONE!
The receptionists were super nice, the rn who saw me was rude, condescending, prideful and sarcastic. No compassion whatsoever. I had to beg for the antibioticscription for my scalp infection.
They do not even deserve a star at all. I have never experienced such horror in my life you probably get better treatment at an animal kennel Nasty facility Nasty attitudes. How can you have someone in charge that’s a racist Rex Milner! I literally discharged myself had the same iv bag, no medication and the main thing no food.
Absolutely horrible. Still paying off a debt I shouldn’t have to pay. The lady did not put in my insurance info and the result is the hospital stealing my money. This is why I distrust hospitals. Do NOT recommend going to St. Francis.
The experience with the staff is horrible. The staff do not display the beliefs of St Francis. St. Francis is suppose to be a Christian base organization. Not all of the staff are rude however the majority are. I suggest to St Francis her train yoh staff costumer service is everything in an establishment.
I was born at this hospital 20 years ago and they dont practice what they did 20 years ago. Atleast they wont deny you an xray like Piedmont. But nothing was done in the end. Terrible
Got a brand new Rebel for Christmas, had an amazing sound system. My mother takes my truck and uses valet parking, now all my speakers are blown. Never again. Thank you to the idiot that tried to thug out in my truck.
Was there 2 sundays in a row same problem and yesterday 6/9/18 problems breathing really in pain even when i call ahead saying have chest pain, left side numb i still have to wait in line . They dont have a second dr to treat patients who really r in pain.
It’s bad enough having the doctor yell at you saying they hate working with the VA and its patients. It’s even worse when you give Dr William Fortson the referral from the VA that took 3 months to get and they bill it out to Medicare instead of the VA LIKE THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DO!!!. You people aren’t getting a DIME!
As a new employee, I was welcomed with open arms and given the tools needed to be Successful
the worst days of my life were recently multiplied when my Mom was admitted to the intensive care unit at Saint Francis Hospital. …
Most staff in any department, were not prompt or helpful. Only Cardiovascular Care ICU were prompt, courteous, informative, & accurate. Sorry to say, I’ve been to Shadyside Hospital in Pennsylvania.
This hospital is horrible. I’ve been in the waiting area for 7 hrs still haven’t made it to the back. I watched 7 people leave from the back and no one has come to get any other patients ( been over a hr now) there are only about 7 patient …
Took my grandpa here he broke his hip and arm they didn’t do tests on him, didn’t know how to handle him bruised him up even more.they wouldn’t put a cast on his arm or do give him any medicine.we had money to pay and everything but they …
St Francis is a great place to work! The people and atmosphere are top notch!
They have horrible billing practices. The only reason I went there was due to the fact that the specialist’s practice was in the facility. I was charged by the person whom performed the test, the doctor whom reviewed the results and the …
Great experience, I felt very welcomed!
Why this hospital would get any other rating than 5 Stars is beyond me. I have just had major surgery there and everyone was fantastic. Great attention to detail and wonderful caring staff in a clean safe environment. I would recommend this hospital to anyone and everyone. Thank you all.
This place needs to be shut down …and investigated by the insurance company they will do xrays and blood to keep that money coming …but no service to the patience…They will say nothing wrong when a person in pain…I forgot they did …
The service there was great!! The doctor the nurses showed their concerns the cat scan technology was great she calm me down l was scared of the cat scan machine she talk me through it was a little just wanted to say! Thanks for the services…….. would recommend any day.
The clerical staff and medical staff are cordial and relatively knowledgeable. But to wait for 3 HOURS for xray results (when they’ve been in the chart- according to their own registration clerk) is RIDICULOUS!
Worst service I’ve ever received in my life and I’ll NEVER come back!! I wouldn’t bring my dying dog to this hospital if it was the closest one!
Worst ER experience ever! We waited over 9 hours for treatment. No ER doctor was on staff. Just one PA was running the whole ER, and patients were bleeding in the waiting room. This hospital needs to be shut down!
When I say never again, I truly mean it!!! Do NOT come here period!!! Wish I could give zero stars. Lost both my twins at this facility, I don’t wish this pain on anyone!!! Be prepared for the worst when dealing with this hospital
Rooms are very dirty and too close together. Employees were too busy socializing most of the time. Had one nice nurse and doctor.
My grandmother was admitted to this hospital, very sick, and half of the doctors that should have been seeing her did not even know she was there until the 3rd day of her stay. Needless to say we transfered her to another hospital. I would …
Find somewhere else to go if you have an emergency. You get shuffled around like cattle, nurses go on lunch and just leave you there without notifying anyone. The doctor doesn’t look at your injury, and they do not have a radiologist to read the films. Totally unacceptable.
Very unprofessional treatment in the ER and T the Bradley center. Happy to read that US News was able to give good Markes for a few areas though. Hope this will change the areas where I experienced poor care.
Thanks to Dr Metry and his ICU team and nurses, they saved my life Aug 2016 from congestive heart failure. They removed liter after liter of fluid off of my lungs. They intubated me and I’m lucky to be alive. Thank you!
I used the woman’s bathroom at St Francis Emergency room it had a bad smell.
It was so cold in the waiting room that I woke up with signsof a cold.
Came in for a pre op appointment. They were quick to take my money, I than sat for almost 2 hours waiting for blood work! They were not busy! A lot of people standing around talking about the upcoming weekend. If I can help it, I will never come here again!!!!!!!
This place is a joke. My child (2 years old) needed stitches above his eye. I have waited over 6 hours and have yet to be seen. When asked the receptionist just shrugs her shoulders at us and goes back to gossiping. That is whens shes at …
My husband and I waited 8 hours with him having chest pains and problems breathing before we finally walked out!! We watched the waiting room fill up and empty twice before we left. Very sad how his situation was handled. Every time asking …
Very, very happy with the care I received. The staff was very knowledgeable and thorough with all aspects of my needs, physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually. That’s why I am proud to have St. Francis as part of my healthcare team.
My wife took a covid test there they mess up the test and we kept calling to get the results and they kept saying it had not come back for weeks then finally one of their employees told us the truth they threw it out after they messed it up …
My experience has been so welcoming and it is so appreciative.
First week has gone well co workers are great liking the job so far
Buyer beware! The Physical Therapy department charges for every 15 minutes $119.75! AND a 5 minute evaluation of $327.50!! Also, they invoice you once per month, so you don’t find this out until you get a surprise statement in the mail. …
Chapter 1
Well, I’m praying for this establishment because they are horrible on the second …
Dreadful experience. the care in the ER was non-existent. I arrived by ambulance non-responsive into the ER. Left on a guerny for11 hours before being admitted to the hospital. nursing care in the ER was non-existent and not much better on the floor. I requested a new nurse in the ER. I will never return to this hospital.
I accompanied a friend to the Energency Department today for suspected diabetic ketoacidosis. We were sent there from an Acute Care facility which had even called ahead. My friend received no treatment what so ever for FOUR HOURS. Weak, …
I want to say thank you again to the two nurses that took care of my twin girls tonight . You don’t find to many Nurses with patience they treated them as if they were their own. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart. Makayla and Makenzie Mom.
I’ve been here for almost 8 hours and I have not talked to a Doctor about my condition. Never come here unless it’s through a ambulance and it’s a absolute emergency. …
If you are going to use the ER here your primary care physician will have a very hard time receiving your records or your specialist physicians. It takes at least 5 phones calls and 1 week to receive a simple ER note for a f/u appointment even if it is urgent
I went to the ER having abdominal pain (have experienced pancreatitis in the past) doctor came in and first words out his mouth are “oh your just fat.” I’m 6 foot 226lds. Never again.

This is the best Hospital i have ever been in my cousin was her from Aug 30 2019 through sept 1 2019 she passed away sept 1 at this place in Icu the staff was so nice. they explained everything on grounds that we could understand our …
The staff are nice and decently professional, but the place seems to only want your money. After that company out of state bought them, they should have taken the “St.” out of the name. I would be very wary about going. I wish hospitals were held to higher standards than this.
My experience with Dr. Tamara Huff at the St Francis Orthopaedic Clinic was less than stellar. She shows no empathy or sympathy for her patients. I have been suffering from pain for years and was told she couldn’t find anything wrong.
This place clearly does not care about women’s health more than it cares about the way women look at a place where your clothing is coming off anyway. Outlawing hair bonnets is totally irrelevant to what you’d need to go to an OB/GYN office for in the first place.
DO NOT GO HERE! The doctors do NOT care about patient well-being. I went to this hospital for a spider bite on my foot, the doctors did not believe it was a spider bite and proceeded to order expensive imaging tests on my foot to build up a …
Been here 5 hours no treatment. When saw the doctor after 2 hrs said my husband had CHF with possible heart attack in next couple of weeks after 3 more hours still no treatment everyone treated him as an inconvenience including the doctor . Left to see his heart doctor in the morning.
The staff is so rude this hospital is so bad never seen such nasty people in a hospital before she came in and is getting worse stop breathing at one point wouldn’t feed her throw the food on the table and walk away nurses made …
The medical / rehab part of St Francis is great. The wait times on appointments can be a little long but I guess it is what it is. The portion of St Francis that is absolutely HORRIBLE is their billing. For some reason, even though you …
This is the very best hospital in the Columbus GA area. Very knowledgeable staff and clean… A hospital that is clean unlike the other two.. One being a government style like Piedmont and the one call Doctors is a joke.. Glad St. Francis …
The nurse’s are awful. The room are not clean. The food a dog wouldn’t eat. If you love your family don’t send them to St Francis. I’m telling you this is the worst hospital in Columbs GA.
Absolute worst care in labor and delivery. Bullied, fear mongered, treated rudely all bc of a choice to not get eye goop in babies eyes. Be prepared, if you have to give birth here, to do exactly what they want, and not what you want or …
The wait time is horrible…Came into the ER with chest pain and breathing problems due to Covid. It took them three hours to perform an EKG.
Daughter was admitted. Iv placed and left alone for 4 hrs. IV never hooked up and no pain meds, for kidney stones. Horrible hospital, wouldn’t give me any updates
Dr. Greg Sfakianos is the only gynecologic oncologist in Columbus and the surrounding areas. He used a Davinci robot to perform my complete hysterectomy. I could walk the next day! He has his own Chemo Suite and his nurses and staff are highly skilled, professional, and kind. I feel blessed to be under their care.
Billing department is horrible, well not the representatives who do customer service, but the supervisor over the medical group billing department. She will be in her office and refuse to take a call or tell them to send it to voicemail and …
While checking hospitals in the area to check on a loved one. BARBARA from the EMERGENCY ROOM answered, I clearly identified myself, told her i was looking for a loved one and asked if they were there. Barbara literally laughed and said …

overall the services at this hospital as far as nurses, General Staff, and doctors are first-rate. sadly I can’t say the same about their billing. they often make stupid little unthinking errors that results in your insurances not paying …
Recently had surgery at St. Francis and everyone from prep-op to recovery were professional and kind. I felt like I was in the best of hands. Dr. Rhodes (ENT) and his staff are awesome and I would highly recommend him if you are looking for an ENT.
As a military family for over 25 years, we lived almost everywhere we have never experienced such rudeness and unprofessionalism. St. Francis staff at Dr.Reinaldo Verson’s office is the worst!! Patients we recording Gorge screening at a …
The horrible place to have your babies, the staff took a bottle out of the trash an feed it to my baby, because it was still in a HR of me feeding my son. He ate an went to sleep an I knew that he would be sleeping past an HR, …
First and last time here.
Never seen any hospital so dirty and old looking. I have seen no sign of a Dr …
I worked night shift and needed labs drawn that morning. Kim Hudson and Bre went out of their way to take care of me without making me wait until they opened. It’s nice when people go above and beyond; showing that they really do care!!
Went to get my back looked at… Told them I need MRI. X-ray is waste of my time. When they bought me back for x-rays I told them no. So I paid 180 copay plus whatever they plan to charge the insurance to get my vitals and questionnaire and …

I’ve been the ER waiting room for 5 hours. I’m getting worse. There hasn’t been a report on why it’s slow. No one has given me a Tylenol, nothing. I believe I have the flu. I wish they could do better.
This was the worst hospital Ive ever seen. They are so unsanitary, the nurses all sit around and joke about how sick the patients are. One guy laughed when they found a patient dead in the waiting room. They have this room called the …
My 85 year old father had a stress test at St. Francis Monday and has not felt good this whole week after. Today, he went to the ER and they took his vital signs and co pay but after 5 hours he decided to go home. He decided he could hurt at home. Pathetic.
I thought I would share the email I sent to St. Frances Hospital just a few moments ago…… …

I spoke with both Wendy and Lisa at their office today. Originally I could not get an appointment until October (Dr. Dean is just that fabulous and popular). Wendy and Lisa both called me back ASAP. Wendy was trying to find something sooner and Lisa found an appointment tomorrow! They are so sweet and I have never had a bad experience.

I was sent to the ER by my GI doctor and was treated quickly. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Even though my case was a bit complicated, they did everything they could to speed things along and make my visit as pleasant as it could be.
I will give them a 0 start, but since it’s not possible had to give them 1. Horrible service at the Emergency Room. Went at 12pm and still by 8pm haven’t seen a dr or medications given. The only person that moved fast was the one to …
I would give this hospital no stars if I could, but I can’t. I waited in the waiting room to be seen for over 2.5 hours. I can’t believe they call themselves a hospital. I’ve never been in a waiting room that long. Any other hospital I have …
Let me just add to the 1 star reviews. I went to urgent care with chest pain. Urgent care told me to go to the er. I’ve been here 41/2 hours and am still in the waiting room. Guess it’s not a heart attack since I’m still alive.
Disappointed in the level of care provided for an elderly convalescing total knee replacement patient. Bed baths were not standard and had to be requested. The call-button was frequently left unanswered for unacceptably lengthy periods. …

I love St. Francis Hospital! I had gall bladder surgery in 1984 and a throidectomy in 2016. Numerous minor surgeries in between. Each time I was so blessed to have the best doctors and nurses taking care of me. I would not go to another hospital but St Francis!
After 2 previous ER visits to a different hospital for back pain with nothing done, my other half went to St Francis ER where they did a CT scan and found he had an infection on his spine. He had emergency surgery and spent almost 2 weeks there and every person we dealt with during that time was great.

First time to St. Francis, went into the ER for what appeared to be appendicitis. The staff was great and charismatic, the service was fairly quick for a busy hospital from 1PM to 7PM. They helped confirm it wasn’t an infection at least, I’d highly recommend them!

My husband, who is a cardiac patient, went to this ER with chest pain. He sat in the waiting room for 7 hours, then when he was finally called back, he sat for almost another 2 hours waiting to be seen. This place is a joke. Its a good thing it wasn’t anything very serious, he would have died in the waiting room!
I have been here for 8 hours. I came here with chest pain, numbness and tingling and heart failure. Why have I not seen a doctor yet, had pain medication or anything. I’m sitting by a wall watching people come and go. This is negligence at best.
The administration should be ashamed to carry on the St Francis name. I have never seen such terrible nursing as when I was there for seizures. Getting a nurse to come to the room was unheard of. Thank God for the techs. I laid there …

The level of care is horrible. My family member coded… There was no sense of urgency, no help arrived until 5 min after the code line was called, one nurse ran to the front desk, asking the nurse at the front desk for a piece of …
When I lived here years ago (30+) St. Francis was a premier hospital in this area. I know this next statement just might shock some of you, but I had much rather be in a VA hospital than St Francis. I have received much, much better care at …
The ER or Emergency Department had at least 80 people waiting. One man told me he has been here for 41/2 hours! This is the worst experience my wife and I have ever had!!! Two people behind the counter talking about their personal lives?! …
Overall; orientation was a good experience. A few hiccups but no major flaws.
The absolute worst emergency healthcare system in columbus georgia. I’d suggest a new administrator, a more efficient way of evaluating patients and a cleaner environment.
Arrived at 7:18pm. Had to leave at 1:32am due to not being seen. My body was exhausted. The only explanation they had was beds are full. They kept taking patients. Horrible service. Gloves not being used by ER waiting room staff when handling clean ups or patients. Will never go back there.
There is absolutely nothing that I liked about this facility or its staff. My Grandmother was neglected and mistreated. She was actually denied pain medication after being diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic lung cancer, simply because the …
The wait time is long, the nurses don’t come and check on you and when they do they act like you’re bothering them. Poor customer service. I was standing at the nurses station for like 5 minutes in front of a nurse that never acknowledged …

The staff was excellent. Especially in the PCS Cardiac Care Department. Lori and Shanna were a great team. Their work ethic was prompt. As a visitor myself, they made me feel at home. Your cafeteria needs a lot of work. Cafeteria staff was …
My wife and I can’t praise SF hospital enough. We basically had a walk in labor and it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a hospital. Keep up all the good work at labor and delivery. Big big shout out to Bridgette the RN and Melissa the midwife. Also Joy the midwife. They’re living Angels.
This emergency room is sick waiting for five or more hour not good bad black nurse period
I want to thank PA Kristina Waggner for helping my 4 year old son in the ER the other night. She was very thorough with diagnostic testing and did just enough to be completely sure my baby was going to be 100% clear to go home. She was …

We have had nothing but horrible experiences with St. Francis. The ER staff are the rudest people I have ever seen in my life. My husband was a cancer patient and we went to the ER with him due to him throwing up, having diarrhea, real …
Great company to work for! I love working in the center for breast health.

St. Francis Hospital was quite an experience for me. I’ve never seen such behavior in my life at a hospital. It’s like people are working cause it’s a job. Like they feel as if the same way they came looking they will leave looking. Which …
My father in law was brought in by ambulance. He’s 84 and has pneumonia. They did nothing for him and discharged him. He came home and his IV port was still in his arm!!! Fortunately I have medical training so I was able to remove it. I understand that they’re overworked because of covid but this is unacceptable!!!

In less than an hour I’ve already been seen for what I came in for and I really appreciate how kind the staff is. St. Francis has been absolutely amazing for me and my family. We have always received the highest level of care. It didn’t matter if it were a routine visit or a life saving surgery. The providers and staff consistently exceeded my expectations.
St Francis is not only the place I work at, but it’s also the place I gave birth to my daughter this March. It has been a great experience to not only be a patient, but also an employee at a great hospital. In both experiences I am/was treated great and the people here make you feel apart of a family.
Someone there stole my moms purse. She had it in emergency when we went in and it disappeared later.
My brother went in for shoulder surgery and didn’t come out.
I hope I never have to see that place ever again !!
They had me locked inside the ER well beyond 8 hours. Place needs the health indefinitely. What type of hospital will locked patients inside, in order to leave you must have a guard to unlock it.
