The attention was awesome and quick. My daughter had a soar throat, now she’s feeling a lot better🙌🏽 …
Love the hospital
Great job 👌 …
Pathetic ER!
Very efficient and professional service.
Absolutely excellent experience
Really nice people. Efficient
The best customer service!
Everyone was friendly and helpful !
Terrible in every way possible.
Was well taken care of! In and out!
Not happy with wait time.
Routine Bloodwork
Everyone treat you like family there the hest
The worst billing department to deal with
Great service, friendly staff, short wait time
Every single time I come here I’m disappointed at the service and attitudes
Outstanding, kind, caring, understanding heroes🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Thank you✝️ …
Very nice hospital.
Friendly staff and very clean hospital.
They have me in their system as a woman.
I am not a woman.
Great care and great staff
Good job, well informed about what she was doing. Professional and pleasant
Doctor in the ER today could not read an Xray to see if a rib was broken for another cancer doctor. Really, doctors have been reading exrays on patients now for decades. Hey lets face it folks, it’s about the money. If a doctor in the ER …
I’ve always had a good experience here. No complaints.
My son was complaining about sever stomach pain and vomiting. Typically we go to Winchester, but they no longer accept our insurance. I decided to go to Saint Joseph Mount Sterling because it was closer than driving to Lexington. We have …
Pitiful excuse for doctors. Go to Winchester or lexington.
Waited 5 mins got everything set up financially and blood work done thanks so much.
Everybody was very professional and nice Positive experience
They gave me great service. They treated me with respect.
Waited 2 hours to get into the emergency room, still waiting, and my blood sugar running 400 and they aren’t seeing it as priority
this place had nothing but rude, hateful uncaring staff
go elsewhere.
Don’t go if your life depends on it. Jumping off a cliff would be easier.
Pleasant staff. I was seen in a timely manner.
Was at the ER for 5 hours and never did get seen. Never again. Went to Clark Regional.
Ver busy place, hope you never have to get anything done here because you will wait for 3 plus hours, just go to Lexington.
I took my mother to that hospital 4 different times and they said she was constipated.come to find out from Lexington hospital she had cancer and it was the size of a grapefruit she passed away 6 months later..
Doctors, nurses and other staff very friendly.
If you have the extra 10 minutes your way better off driving on to Clark County.
Other than having to wait in the lobby for an hour and 2 more hours to wrap a broken wrist, everything was ok
I was told I had to be seen because of my blood sugar being so high by the triage nurse and all she had to do was move some people around and 2 hours later I’m still waiting and kn top of that she was asking me questions and I tried to answer them and she would cut me off mid sentence…
The ER was a big dissapointment. Dr Forster (the one we saw) had zero bed side manner and had a bad attitude. She made our visit even worse than it already was which was from having a miscarriage. Also Slow, Slow, Slow. Don’t go with a real emergency. Drive to lexington.
If I could put 0 stars I would. My 5 year old son has a hole in his knee needing stitches and we have waited 2 1/2 hours, the staff has lied and has been rude to other patients. This is not the first time we have left this hospital without being treated. They can kiss my butt! Go to a hospital that actually cares, not this hospital!
The wait the second time was longer than I anticipated but the staff was very friendly and helpful .
Love all employees, they take such great care and are concerned about you.
It was fine didn’t like the $700 bill for a MRI
Has got to be the worst emergency department in this state. Zero urgency. Actually called the lobby to see who hasn’t left yet. Ridiculous
Have never in my life been treat so rude by a Dr. I left the ER crying and if i go back i will refuse to see Dr.Fleming He has absolutely no bedside manners and diagnosed me and tried to give me a pain shot and script without even examining …
Doctor Fleming’s treated me like a crack head lookin for pills after just having back surgery 4 to be right my back was swollen told me to take steroids and sent me Home I fell 3 times going out the door from nerve problems worst hospital …
Very awsome service an kindness from the lady who did my CT scan.
An the folks who checked me in.
Can’t be any happier with how they treated my 5 month old son… Great staff…
If you have a emergency DO NOT COME HERE! You’ll die in the waiting room. This place is pathetic. Very rude and under educated staff.
Just came in for my fathers class for knee replacement surgery and when we walked down to the same day surgery waiting room like the receptionist told us to do and picked up the black phone to call and let the staff know we were here….we …
Had my shoulder surgery there and could not have been more happy! Anesthesiologists was informative dr Bell, nurses were funny, patient, and Dr James Rawlings was kind and did a great job! I literally went straight back and didn’t wait at …
worst ever I go in over my heart I’m already a cardiac patient as it is. I couldn’t breathe and it felt like my heart was racing. got told I would have to be sent to Lexington bc they were afraid I was going to die. then they tell me I …
Worst hospital you could ever imagine. Why they have an ER beats the hell out of me. SLOW SLOW SLOW! I’ve been here for 5 hours with my nephew who has been throwing up with migraines. He is a child who needed imidaiate care, and instead he gets this.
The nurses on Med Surge are wonderful! Very tentative and compassionate which is great care, even when they were busy.
Worst experience ever. I can’t believe they would make 4 year old kid wait for 3.5 hours in lobby with fever of 104.
worst experience ever staff is super rude been waiting almost five hours while my fiance is having a asthma attack barley can get his breath still havent been helped and the place is nasty empty shringe in the floor (no needle but still) …
Had dizziness. Short of breath. Hot flashes. Etc still had to wait in the lobby a ridiculous amount of time. I was afraid that I was going to pass out and they wouldn’t even notice. The front desk was to engaged in messing around with …
If I could give zero stars I would .. at least for the ER department..they was very rude and stuck up ..I was there for 4 hours all together ..a hour for the doc to come in.. a hour for the x ray an hour for the results an hour to get …
Have had the best care for my husband. All the staff were very professional and friendly.
The nursing staff was friendly and quick. I would have the procedure at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling again if I had too.
I’m from out of town (Ohio)…I understand it’s a smaller hospital..but just the way they treat people was just plain rude! All beds in Er were full and I sat there for 2 1/2 hours waiting to be seen with my cut on eyeball…people were …
Can’t go less. Been here since 2pm. Currently 506 pm. Possible severe neck and head injury from automotive accident. Put in a room to wait. Did they forget about me?
Very clean the staff
Took all safety precautions and were kind and professional during my time there
I’ve been to this hospital with a few of my family and friends and I can tell you, Unless you are dying at the moment, go anywhere else. Don’t even take your dog here.
Horrible place 3-4 hours in waiting area no matter what is wrong with you. Lots of people I know do not recommend this place.
Sat next to a guy who cut his finger off for about three hours in the ER waiting room. I gave up and left but the guy with the missing finger is still waiting to this day
The hospital appears to be a new one. It’s kept very clean and all of the staff and doctors I’ve interacted with have been great! My GI doctor practices in this hospital and even though I have a 2 hour drive to get there it is well worth …
ADDING ANOTHER REVIEW!!! My husband went because he was having chest pains and the nurse on staff said he could not believe the room they put us in ( INFORMED US IT WAS THE ROOM FOR CASTING BROKEN BONES!! ) the bed was broken to the point …
They took great care of me. I would recommend this hospital to anyone.
I’ve been to this hospital a few times between myself and my kids. Usually things are alright, pretty standard treatment for a hospital outside of a big city. But the other night is the last night I will ever go here unless I am absolutely …
This Hospital is a Horrible one!!! In order for you to be attended you will have to wait at least 10 hours…. they will ONLY call you to take your VITAL SIGNS…. and make you wait 5 more hours. This ER was full of people and NO ONE were …
6+? hours in the ER. The admitting doctor is unavailable to do an admit. The ER doctor doesn’t bother to tell you the lab results, even after me asking the staff several times. They had to take more blood because it clotted, yet on blood …
Went in for a routine procedure and the staff was courteous and helpful & quick and I got seen within minutes of arriving.
The woman working at the desk in emergency on the evening of 4/21/19 was hands down the rudest hospital employee I have ever encountered. It’s an EMERGENCY. I don’t have time for her to make a phone call when she see me coming in a panic, and I don’t have the patience to deal with her hatefulness. She’s in the wrong job.
Do not go to this hospital. You will wait for hours for nothing. Go to Clark county or Lexington. I waited 3 hours in the waiting room before they called me back. Then I waited in the ER for 2 hours for them to tell me to that I had Strep. That place is a joke. I wouldn’t take my dog to that hospital.
Great staff – so friendly and comforting. Very efficient at their jobs and diligent about precautions.
I had pre-op orders for another location. The Mt Sterling location took me in with no more than a five-minute wait. They were fast and friendly. Couldn’t have ask for better service😊 …
Doctor and staff very professional and friendly. Took their time listening and answering questions.
The facility is new and spotless and I heard all rooms are private. The staff are about the nicest anywhere. Response time was good considering I wasn’t their only patient. Patient education pre and post surgery was good. My medical outcome on my new knee was fabulous!
I didnt have to sit in the waiting room very long. The staff was friendly and my doctor was very thorough.
It’s bad when you sit outside for 2 1/2 hours for someone to have surgery thinking they are in surgery only to have them call you to tell you they are just going back for surgery and the nurse tries to tell you it takes that long to get …
Had a 7am appointment got there then found out the stupid doctor don’t come in till 9. I guess they think our time is not important. I’ll find other options from now on. Before I come to this place oh and I didn’t get told this till after they put in an iv.
Amazing doctor! Amazing staff! They took a difficult situation and made it so much easier! Highly recommend!!!
This might be the worst hospital I’ve ever been to. Me and my daughter went to the ER and sat in the waiting room for at least 6 hours. If not more
The staff at the front desk was rude on 2nd shift no compassion or willingness to help or answer questions…i had a very long wait time and even after the doctor finally came in and gave me my diagnosis it took the nurse another hour to give me my meds…it was one of the worse experiences I’ve had at this ER.
Went to the er for stitches, and had great service. In and out in an hour. I am editing my previous bad review, gotta give credit where it’s due.
This place is a joke….. Your better off treating your self!!!!! Been in the room 3 hours with my grandmother who has pneumonia and the nurse has onle been in once and refuses to take her oxygen because she has red nail polish on…
SJMS offers friendly and professional registration services as well as state of the art outpatient services. There is a hometown atmosphere of caring unlike that found in larger medical centers. The employees are neighbors, friends and are part of your church community. I always choose SJMS for my healthcare testing and care.
Very slow good workers if they only work have been here for three hours for a cut finger when i brought person at 8:30 ER very slow. So why so lond to fix a cut
Went for X-ray was out within 20 minutes. Got results next day. Staff was super nice. Not sure what shift others are showing up at the hospital but I went around 3pm and everything was clean, friendly and prompt.
Very easy and painless. The test went well the lady who took my X-ray was very nice.
The staff in radiology is extremely friendly and informative. My visit was comfortable and quick.
Although they staff was overwhelmed with patients, I was treated with care and dignity. I appreciate all that was done to help bring down my Blood Pressure and relieve my Covid symptoms!
Absolutely ridiculous of how poorly managed this hospital is. Never visited a St. Joe that wasn’t poorly managed, but this location is the absolute worse. You would think that with the majority of the reviews being negative, managment would switch things up and try to do better but its as bad as ever.
ER is always slower than normal hospital. And all paper still not much computer. For info.
Quick to register me in, and very little wait time. Staff was kind and courteous. So far I was very pleased with everything that was done for me that day
Quick hassle free getting blood work done. It helps when you know what time to go in and getting done. Staff quickly processed my paperwork and I was in and out in 15 minutes.
I had a chest x-ray done for possible pneumonia on a Thursday at noon. I did not get the results faxed to my doctor until Monday. That is four days and unacceptable.
This is the only hospital that I will go to. They make you feel as if you matter. They check on you like a waitress does, as if they get tips or something. Very good and very friendly.
Grandfather had covid pneumonia. They told us his pneumonia was completely gone. Heard from a family friend to transfer him to Lexington because this hospital is terrible. Lexington said his pneumonia was still there, and was getting worse. …
Wife bleeding in waiting room from deep cut to hand.Wait 45 min to be seen in triage. Then sent back to waiting room hand still bleeding need to wait on room. Still waiting another hour and still no room. Sign in waiting room states if you have any of the following notify staff immediately bleeding on the list.
I was there in March of this year. After many tests, I was diagnosed with cancer. The Doctors and nurses were so kind and patient. The Dr even had a nurse sit with us until the ambulance came to transfer me.
Knowledgeable. Lee Ann was so professional. Answered my questions. The exam was done quick. Got my report from doctor in 48 hours
Went into the hospital the first time last week and it was just like every other hospital (except central baptist that place is fancy). Checked in got in quick and out quick. Good doctors and nurses who don’t waste your time
Dr. Jeff Cohen was the best . Took time and examined me well. Called twice after discharge for follow up.
The reason I gave them 4 stars was I did not like the fact that they made you wait in the bathroom until it was your turn.. Other than that the experience was 4 stars I always go there for my test.
Worse hospital I have ever been in, went in with broken hand was taken back at 3:54 pm at 5:42 no one had ever came and seen me. I stopped a nurse as she walked by and asked what was going on said she would go check 10min later a lady come …
This hospital far exceeded any expectations which I had. I had a shoulder replacement. Everyone was so nice, and helpful. I didn’t want, nor need for anything. Small town friendliness for sure.
If I could give 0 stars I definitely would. Worst hospital ever. The doctors act like they don’t even know what they are doing. Everyone there was stuck ups, acting like they are better and seemed like they didn’t even want to do their job. …
Just a very mismanaged location. I’ve had myself and two family members misdiagnosed and almost lead to death of my dad and procedure I didn’t need I was frightened into which cost me 2,800. Terrible service in the rooms. If you have a loved one in there, stay with them 24/7 if you want them to receive the most basic of services.
The stay was as pleasant as it could be, because of the nature of my surgery pain is not a word I could use I hurt every turn away from standing which I could not do for long, the nurses in the ICU are the best of the best hands down, 3rd …
The staff was very professional and compassionate. They answered all of my questions before hand and followed up with me afterward. From the surgeon to the anaesthesiologists to the nurses and assistants, I couldn’t be more pleased with my care.
I have no issues with the service I receive at St. Joe. The staff are always pleasant and kind. My issue is the billing department. Before I had my knee surgery, I received a phone call the Friday before my surgery stating they estimated …
Takes too long to be seen. They were not busy the nurses. Were just sitting at the desk doing nothing! Docs too!!! Terrible hospital! They are giving st jo a bad name!! I’ll go to winchester hospital
I needed to have blood drawn and the people at St Joseph really helped me. They checked and triple checked my information. I didn’t feel the needle at all. Everyone I came in contact was very nice. I would recommend CHI St Joseph to anyone needing medical attention.
Very poor service? Never go to the ER for an emergency because if it is life threatening you will be dead in the wait room. Yet I keep going back hoping each time it may be different but nope no better just worse. …
Their billing department is the worst billing department I have ever dealt with. I got a bill in the mail saying that I owed over $10,000 for my delivery LAST MARCH. and I have been dealing with them for almost a year to get this settled …
Scheduled a MRI on my shoulder. Admission process was simple, exam started right on Tim end the MR technician was superb. Would definitely recommend and use again
The service was terrible the doctor was extremely rude. I went in with lower back pain got a scan doctor basically says degenerative disc but could see nothing else. I ask why I was in so much pain he said don’t know go to your family …
If I could give no stars I would. ER staff unprofessional and non compassionate except for Keith, he was very kind. Never seen a dr just nurse. If I was needing a band aid I would bleed to death before anyone would come into my room …
So slow we were there for 3 hours for a little cut above the eye due to a little accident at school with another child in gym. We had seen four people and each one ask what happened. There were no other people there that I saw and there …
After reading all the bad reviews I was so scared, but the nurses and staff were so patient with my child. They calmed his fears and he was in and out with no problems.
As an employee they let their management talk and treat u bad like u r useless and trash.
My diagnostics were done in a timely fashion. Staff doing them were professional and gracious. Good experience.
When I called to schedule my mammogram Lauren was friendly an set me up right away with a convenient appt for me. Day of the appt I walked in an checked in an waited maybe 5 mins before I was called back . I was treated with respect by the …
If I could give zero stars I would. This is the most terrible er I have even been to in my life!!! Twisted my knee really bad. The xray tech didn’t even help me out of my wheel chair to get onto the table. Refused to help me lift my leg on …
My mammogram went smoothly. The person giving me the exam was very courteous and answered all the questions I had. She made the experience as pleasant as possible.
I have had three surgeries and countless tests at this hospital. I have always had a pleasant experience with personnel with exception of one or two. All together I am pleased with the care they provide and will continue to use this facility for all of my medical needs.
Went there for an outpatient MRI. Staff was wonderful and super friendly. Didn’t have to wait long to get my MRI onto a disc and to get the report from Medical Records. Also my doctors got the report quickly also
Very nice nurses but doctors are the worse I have either a pulled musle or pinched nerve so bad cant put pressure on my leg they made me wait hours just to say “go talk to an OBGYN since your pregnant” mind you they wasnt even in room 30 …
Hands down the worse hospital. I can safely say I’ve never had a good experience here. The wait time is though the roof. You tend to see a lot of staff but not a lot of action. Went in with extreme pain and other problems. Checked in waited …
I had multiple serious health issues going on, one of which was I had been having TIA’s (mini-strokes) throughout the day leading up to my visit to the ER. Desk staff were polite, and caring. But that’s where anything good ended. …
Can’t say enough about my dads RN Vanessa from the 2nd floor “Progressive Care Unit”. I’ve worked in the ER and Orthopedics In Florida for the past 20 years and Vanessa is a shining star. She cared for and treated my dad like he was her …
If I could give 0 stars I would. Sat for 3 hours in ER waiting room while possibly carrying a contagious illness. The only people who were nice was the lady doing the temperature check and the ladies that were behind the registration desk. …
9 hours in the waiting room with a head injury/concussion walked to my car and they checked me out and put me behind somebody else and made me repeat the triage process. Said I was gone for an hour when I wasn’t. It’s clear they let people …
Best place to go for your blood work! Very prompt on getting you in. The staff who’s drawing your blood or so very nice!
Everyone was very respectful and wanted to make my visit a great one
My daughter had a nurse-maid elbow. We were quickly seen to and all of the staff was friendly and kind.
I went to the ER Sunday evening and I got in to a room pretty quick and waited awhile for them to do X-rays on my foot. Said I wood get a tetanus shot and pain medicine. I didn’t get either one. X-ray’s came back the ER Dr said my foot was …
Worst er around. I had to sit in the waiting room for two hours before the nurse got my info. Then had to wait another hour to get in a room. On top of that, no dr came for an hour and a half, so I just left. It would’ve been another two hours on top of that to even be seen. DO NOT COME HERE IF IT IS AN EMERGENCY. Would give 0 stars.
1. My daughter went in puking up blood, set in waiting room for 2 hours.
2. I went in for a bi polar manic episode and was told they couldn’t do anything …
My fiance came in for serious pain in his lower back just for us to sit in the lobby for almost 3 hrs. Finally got a room and had to wait another 40 minutes just to be seen by a Dr. This place might be closer to home and quicker to get to in an emergency but it’s an absolute joke.
Recently I was with my better half for outpatient surgery that turned into an overnight stay. I have to say there is nothing bad I can say about any person or department in the hospital. Everyone went above and beyond to do whatever they could for us. I would definitely recommend Saint Joseph Hospital of Mt Sterling, KY
The nursing staff was the best friendly nice they answering all my questions good out going people The P.T. crew couldn’t ask for a better one I put it to you like this if I had to go back into the hospital Ill go back to Saint Joseph
Went early this morning straight after work. Have a swollen throat can’t even swallow mashed potatoes. And ear and back pain. They never gave me a wrist band. Wow. And they never checked on me for the 4 hours I was sitting in the room …
I left a review on their Facebook page with screenshots showing one of their nurses laughing about a patient of theirs being neglected at their facility then dying there. I suggest everyone take a peek at it. Would you also like to share my comments and photos with your staff the way you do with positive reviews, Saint Joseph?
They we’re very good to me very nice and I appreciate the things that they do. But on a different time that happened with my daughter I was not happy not these nurses that were there for me but different ones was very rude hateful and …
Avoid at ALL costs. This is the most inept, disorganized hospital I’ve ever had the misfortune to be referred to. Hours spent waiting without even being checked on, a PA who didn’t even bother to read notes before breezing in to talk …
Nurses are always courteous and helpful. Dr King will answer as many questions you ask until you are comfortable with what is going on with your body.
That sign in the ER that says “5 stars” needs to be taken down cause it’s a LIE. Every time I’m at this hospital it’s something. I was there WEEKS ago, still waiting on my lab results. I call and keep getting transferred between 4 different people. This hospital is the WORST.
What can I say good about this hospital, absolutely nothing. Worst hospital ever. The doctors don’t spend time with their patients just in and out, not listening to your input. The nurses are inept, it’s just a job to them. Avoid at all costs. Your just a dollar sign to them.
My 71 year old mother got into a car crash on Thursday, is just now taking my adivce about going to the doctor, and we’ve been here for hours. This woman has cried in the lobby because her right side is in pain. We’re thinking she broke a …
I was told to be there 30 minutes before my appointment. I sat for 40 minutes before being called to do paperwork. I had blood work done than sat in the back for 30 minutes before being called to have next test done. People seemed to know their jobs just took forever to get it done. Took two hours to do 30 minutes of work.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Do everything in your power to go to Winchester or another capable hospital if …
My husband fell and he feet started to fall asleep and was getting worse by the hour. The doctor he seen was acting as though in a hurry and didn’t even do any test to see if anything was broken or anything. The nurse gave him a shot and …
I went into the hospital in extreme pain and waited two and a half hours to even get into a run. Most of the other people in the waiting room were there for non-emergent situations and they were being taken back before the people with …
Extremely long waits and the particular nurse and doctor I saw both seemed in a hurry to be rid of me. After hours
Of waiting, I left with a paper saying they thought I had an infection and they …
