Always excellent experience.
Great experience 👍 …
This place sucks, didn’t help me at all.
I think it’s a good little place where you can get a great deal.
Hit and miss on Dr care, nurses are awesome.
There is not a Negative star.
Was OK but they need more bed aide manner
Real quick to run a bunch of test yo u don’t need $$$
Tried to connect and check on results of recent tests. Unable to find it and access my account.
My husband had great care on the surgical floor.
Would give a zero if I could. They have got to be the slowest hospital in history and rude
Had some heart issues that nearly took my life and the staff here were super kind and prompt with their care.
Nothing like being released because he wasn’t sick enough and then 4 hours later brought back by ambulance because he couldn’t stand up.
I was here for dka all week fine. Today went bck w severe pain they dont care rude hurtf ppl
My experiences here were very nice. Great staff, who are exceptionally professional. I salute them all.
The ER staff is rude, disrespectful and very unprofessional. I would suggest the Wooster hospital if you need emergency care.
Too many bad experiences here.will never send a loved one here again.have missed critical conditions 2 times.1 is fighting for life now because of their neglegence
Went to ER, didn’t wait long to get a room, however a doctor never actually came to my room and they said there was nothing they could do for me.
Not a big fan of faceless corporate entities that place profit over people. UH sucks. The doctors and nurses are gold, but they are now powerless cogs in money-sucking machine.
If i could give zero stars i would. Just go to ohio health. Er staff make you feel like you a waist of time. No compation and very rude.
Brought my daughter in for severe abdominal pain and they made a child that was doubled over in pain and crying wait and they weren’t even busy! I’m going to go to Knox community hospital next time! This is ridiculous
The hospital staff are alright, the doctors are great, but the cafeteria lady was kinda rude and outspoken and commented on what I ordered! Really? Why is she even working there?? Not coming back there
One of the WORST HOSPITALS I have ever been in. The ED is going to kill someone which I am sure that they already have. Wouldn’t recommend this hospital to anyone for anything.
On December 6th 2018..I was in a car accident and brought to this hospital..I am not from Ohio..and it was a very traumatic experience
.These God sent people gave 100% plus..to give me excellent care..and make me …
Kinda dirty cobb webbs and dirty windows. The night shift exray tech needs a new attitude. Being snotty with a 12 year old. He was asking and making comments about the exrays he had taken. Exray tech asked if he learned that from his years of medical training. Rude. However Dr. Baehren was very helpful.
High cost of emergency room, ridiculous. Then when you contact them to set up payment plan, this is what you get. They tell you your monthly payment and if not paid according to their timeline, they turn you into collection agency. Wow, they’re a business, not a hospital!!
The medical staff is great if you can get into a bed. The Last couple times I have been in, we’ve had to wait for at least 4 hours before being seen.
Have had many problems her I do know I found a review that it was a positive experience on some similar that I had bad experience I just glad ohio health is coming in ashland more
Was having chest pains and went in to have test done, did every test you could imagine and then diagnosed me with a pre existing condition. What a joke! Now after an extremely outrageous bill that they denied payments on, I’m currently being taken to collections. Thanks Samaritan Care…
University Hospitals are the best the staff are very friendly and they know what they are doing I what to Ohio health and those people does not know what they are doing
My Mother was a patient there. The place should be shut down, with the treatment she endured. But they are protected by a Medical board that does not enforce any rules, and the Oh medical system is (dept of health-etc…) controlled by the …
Went to see Dr. Flieshmam. HE IS THE BEST!!! IF YOU ever need to see a Heart Doctor I highly recommend this doctor. He orders your tests immediately and when he goes over them with you,, He explains them. In a way that you never have to …
Misdiagnosed my wife placing her health and life at risk. My wife and I will NEVER walk through those doors again. Skip this one go to Ohio Health.
Nurses were very nice however after sitting for 2 hours Dr finally came in and said we had to take responsibility for my dad’s knee pain. This is the worst er ever and will never come back .
over priced, poor service.run by a bunch of fat cat executives. hide behind “not for profit” etc.places like this are why healthcare is so screwed up in this county. $2500 for a few blood tests because you have insurance… as prices rise, …
I broke my ankle and was transported to UHSMC. As a veteran, sometimes there can be some difficulty in coordinating care away from VA facilities. Not so here at UHSMC. Their caring ER staff and excellent medicsl providers took very good …
We have waited over an hour when we got right in because they weren’t busy. We saw lady from pharmacy and registration but no one else. Finally when nurse walked in she was very short and rude then slammed the glass door as she walked out …
I went to the Emergency room on Aug.7th where they were very kind and repsonded quickly. I was admitted and had an 8 day stay. The entire time I was there, I was professionally and caringly taken care of. I have nothing but good things to say about the hospital and the staff. Thank you!
Went there with terrible stomach pain. Was diagnosed with constipation. 4 months later, I found out that they didn’t bill my insurance. Now I’m getting phone calls from debt collectors. This place is a money collecting joke. They just want money. That’s it.
University hospitals and the doctors office that I personally went to that’s affiliated paid no attention to any complaint that I had basically told me there was nothing wrong with me when I was in and out of the hospital for months I tried …
I called to ask a medical question because I’m 33 weeks pregnant and before I could tell the woman on the line who I was or my situation she’s proceeds to interrupt me and say to call Monday when the office is open. Oh course I was like …
This was something my friend told me to do is call a larger hospital for my sickness. I called the Er to inform them about my sickness thats been here with me for almost 3 months. A man answered in the ER department. The man named Cameron …
Not too bad. My grandma doesn’t speak English and the translation services aren’t too great. My grandma is hard of hearing so having a translator isn’t that great. Still, given the language barrier, some nurses really found creative ways to communicate when we weren’t there. Go nurses!
If you are there for surgery or on the birthing floor your care is pretty good. The ER however is a complete joke. The Dr’s and most of the nurses are rude, disrespectful, and have no compation. The ER needs completely revamped by University.
The best hospital around. I’ll gladly drive the 45 minutes. I always bring my son here when every other ER failed him. I finally got my son’s slipped capital femoral epiphysis diagnosis here after 5 weeks and multiple doctors and other ER …
I just had to write a review about the absolutely horrible experience I’ve had here. I got into a car accident and was told to go to the emergency room, the bill ended up being $800. I let the other parties insurance agent know and it WAS …
The staff do what they can. Administration needs to be changed. People use connections more. Uh nags you every few minutes to have accept the use policy. This place doesn’t want to provide this or hire people to support community …
Went to ER with kidney stones. In the middle of the night. They took quick and great care of me. From there to the ICU and to surgery on a Sunday. Had a stint put into kidney. Staff treated me very well and medical services were awesome. Thanks UHS. Had a stone that was 1.3cm big….gone now😀 …
I’ve been here more than a handful of times. Never once had a good experience. You can expect to wait at least half an hour before someone even calling you back to go into a room at the ER. They are very slow and have misdiagnosed me half …
I had to get an MRI. I really enjoyed the staff. They were very helpful and informative and took their time explaining the process to me. I’m not a small woman but I’m also not claustrophobic so I didn’t think the procedure would be an …

Went to the ER due to stomach pain and pain in my appendix. Nurses and doctors were all very nice and professional while keeping me informed and comfortable during my stay. Ended up needing surgery and it went very well.
I went to the ER with abdominal pain generating to my back, they couldn’t figure out what was going on so sent me for an MRI and failed to explain to me that was what they were going to do, needless to say they could not see anything on the …
The hospital itself is not bad that is why I gave it 3 stars. Nurses are great and very attentative but the ER doctors are not very good at all. Went in twice in 1 month for same symptoms and each time was sent home with no knowledge of …
My wife has been trying to schedule a mammogram for over a week. The main scheduling number says they don’t schedule for the location in Mansfield. So they gave her a number, that person said they had never heard of that location (same …
Went to the ER last night as i couldn’t stop vomiting and stomach cramps. Service used to be very good, but it seems as it is going down hill. 45 minute wait to get triaged and nobody was in front of me. They were not busy but it took them …
Went to the ER for knee pain and checked in at 1:20. Wasn’t taken to a room until 3:00. Doctor came into room at 3:20… never order an x-ray..and said to see an orthopedic doctor. He left in 5 minutes and said I would get discharge …
Getting my 2nd covid shot at the Samaritan facility on main Street was one of the worst organized setups I have ever seen. I was first to arrived, was told by one worker I would be #1 to get vaccinated, then a few minutes later someone else …
I had drove myself to the hospital and went into ER with symptoms of heart issues I had no idea existed and because the doctors and nurses in the ER at this hospital followed through and did there job properly I’m alive today. I had …
After my first review describing the lack of doctors’ communication and compassion as my husband passed away in their ICU, I notified the hospital advocate. It has now been almost two months since they allowed my husband to die. I …
Would give 0 star but not an option. I am an EMT and this was one of the worst er i have been in. My dad was taken there for an active stroke they played around getting him to a hospital that could give him the clot bisting medicine he …

We initially took her to Samaritan but we ended up leaving after the staff there tried to mask us up as my husband was holding pressure on my daughter’s bleeding foot. They then had the nerve to tell me that I couldn’t go back in since I …
I received a phone call yesterday that my dad was having a heart attack. From the second I walked into the door they were demanding answers to questions for me rather than answering my questions. Everyone from the mask woman to the desk …
Not that you want to spend Christmas at the emergency room, but had a nice experience here. Great care with friendly staff!
ER staff was fine. Doctors explained my husband had heart issues, might need a pacemaker in the future. He was stable and doing well but sent to ICU for overnight observation. ICU staff was terrible! No compassion. When I left him, he was …
July 2022 Review: Still 5 stars. We had a true (keyword, I feel like some of these reviews are from people who don’t understand the ER isn’t a PCP) emergency and presented at the ER. Within 3 minutes we were in a room, being seen, and …
De-humanizing experience. Attending Dr. Kiran Faryar not kind at all. Would not let me ask questions. Accused me of being HATEFUL. Patients don’t matter unless you are Brought in by ER Squad. Only a number. Not a person with …
My daughter broke her wrist while we were attending the balloon glow. Everyone from the fire department ( that took her there on their gator ) to the nurses and doctors were Amazing ! They were quick and made sure we were ok. The attending …
