San Carlos Irrigation Project Reviews ( 20 )

  1. How long does it take to hook up power to a new house built? My parents have been waiting for over a year. This is unexceptable. Whenever he calls to try and get an answer when they might be out he gets yelled at. What kind of customer service is this???? Quit dragging your feet and do what needs to be done!

  2. I’m just signing up to use this company.. So far the lady I’m dealing with has been very respectful and the phone has been answered each and every time I’ve called. (had to call a few times due to an issue with prior tenants) I guess time …

  3. Poor unreliable power service. As soon as the wind blows above 10 mph is goes out. Ok, a bit more than 10. Tonight alone the power has cut out more than a dozen times. Last night it was out for more than an hour. Why do power companies have monopolies? If we had a choice, I’ll bet we would get better service at better rates.

  4. I’ve been in valley farms for almost 10yrs now, You can never get ahold of anyone in the office during power outages. I’d rather pay more for SRP to push San Carlos out

  5. Terrible company, can’t even update customers on outages. Can’t even call the number without getting disconnected when reporting a outage. Honestly deserves 0 stars out of 5.

  6. Applies to some… Very rude and unprofessional. Need lots of training on customer service and common courtesy. If not happy with your job, leave and find another job! Technically deserves no stars!

  7. Horrible company.. Currently not allowing any customers to bring solar onto the grid, not paying customers for extra energy generated by solar before this. Now today the power is out due to a storm and the report an outage number just hangs up on you. It should be illegal to force people to use this company.

  8. San Carlos Irrigation Project seems to struggle at times in its effort to provide steady and consistent electrical service to its customers. The provider seldom sends out notices and updates when there is a power outage. Living in “Florence Gardens,” we have no choice in who our electrical provider is. God help us.

  9. The power went out this morning. I called because maybe they didn’t get my payment. Halfway through the call she lets me know that there is a temporary outage. It’s been an hour and a half still no communication on when the power might be back up and it running close to 100 degree’s outside.

  10. Power is out due to storm. Tried calling and you press 1 to report an outage and can’t get through to anyone. Power has been out for over an hour. Get it together SCIP.

  11. Any time our power goes out it is typically impossible to get ahold of anyone at the central office. Especially on weekends. The linemen who work for SCIP are great but there is no way to contact them. I understand that power outages happen, but customer service is awful.

  12. Great company! Used this service 2 years now. Concerned the first summer with $500 bill 1 month and $350 a couple of months. Seems an a/c hose was blowing cold air into the attic. Definitely have to change filters monthly. Lots of dirt …

  13. They have the system set up that when each person calls to report it records which area outage is. Always remember they are risking there lives in treacherous weather for us.

  14. Constant power outages. At least 2-3 times a week during monsoon. Not only when big storms come either, seems like it’s out as soon as one rain drop hits the ground.

  15. I’ve never had any issues with this company and every time I speak to a rep they’re very helpful. Just spoke with Forest Hunter and he was extremely polite, and respectful. Thank you SCIP!

  16. Worst electric company in the state! Every time the power goes out, we can’t get ahold of anyone in customer service because they hang up on us every single time we call. No joke and it’s ridiculous! We’ve been in a blackout for 8 hours and still nothing!

  17. I understand the company is small for the electricity but understand we need to communicate with someone, update on website, send out texts or have message saved when someone calls in for a outage understand people have children. Working …

  18. Need to report an outage? System hangs up on you. Need to rely on your power? It goes out if someone sneezes wrong. Rates have skyrocketed in the past 2 years. And, if you want to get solar, that’s nice, because they won’t work with you.
