San Jose San Pedro Square Home Owners Association Reviews ( 100 )

  1. Came here for a colleague’s departing celebration. Gonna miss you, MJ. Have not been here since pre-covid. Arrived at about 4:30PM on a Thursday and the place looked good. Good amount of people when I arrived and the crowd was beginning …

  2. Little pricey, but I don’t eat out much so maybe it’s the norm $12 for a burrito? – but then again they have to pay for floor space and the lock down probably hasn’t helped. Had very nice Peruvian food. Can get noisy inside.

  3. The square is a cute area with plenty of shops and restaurants, along with the San Pedro Square Market. The entrance to the area has a beautiful sign overarching San Pedro Street. This area is great for an afternoon stroll and local/unique photo ops. Definitely a must see in downtown San Jose.

  4. This is such an iconic and historical place that comes highly recommended to anyone who’s in San Jose either for the very first time or revisiting after a very long time. …

  5. We’ve eaten here many times over the years. In the last year the prices have gone up quite a bit. There are several stalls that are empty or not open for very many hours.

  6. A nice place to meet people for lunch. There’s a number of different food and drink options and lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The Peralta and Fallon Adobe is next door, as well, if you like a bit of history.

  7. San Pedro Square is a center public attraction as it is home to many of the known food outlests and other landmarks. The place is so scenic and carries some urban cool vibes. …

  8. Omg there’s a place in the square called ANCHORS. Had the halibut fish n chips. It’s the best fish I’ve EVER had. I’m so happy right now!!
Go get it before it’s gone, your welcome!!

  9. Went to eat at Urban Momo, an Indo Nepalese cuisine. Food was enough compared to the price paid, balanced spice and very nicely cooked delicious food. Owner and employees are very courteous. Overall experience is very good. Love to go there again and again.

  10. Located conveniently in the heart of the San Jose Downtown. This is the most happening place in San Jose. It has a variety of cuisines to pick and choose from. The total area has around 25 restaurants priced at various price points. Would definitely recommend to someone moving / visiting San Jose.

  11. Just like the rest of downtown San Jose, San Pedro square has become really quiet. Around 6pm, I couldn’t even tell if any places were open anymore. Literally no one on the streets.

  12. For business meeting to a night on the town historical location with a variety of culinary taste for all. A must go location for passing travellers or city locals. Recommended location.

  13. The CREPE station was great tasting, filling , (slightly) pricey, but WORTH IT!!! MUSIC in the court, Saturday night, live band was awesome. Everyone respectful and MASKED up, good vibes!

  14. The food here is good, the restaurant are quick for how many people are always here. It is not for people who don’t like loud crowded spaces though. The last time I went they had live music.

  15. Very Happening Place! Be it during the day or for nightlife, you will find a number of joints suiting your interests. Live sport screenings, live music, street performers keep the place merry.

  16. All the stars for the music performance on Jan 31.
Place was kind of dead though on Monday night, might be more happening on weekends. Also, people were doing there own thing instead of appreciating the performance.

  17. Nice place to find food! lots of variety of food to go restaurant that you can select. it was pack when my family visited the market and that was sunday evening!. where did all this people came from late sunday evening.

  18. Good vibe, perfect for group hangout. Beer is good, food not that good, but hey you don’t come here for a proper dinner anyway.

  19. Got drinks from Palisades. Bar tender was rude. Drinks were okay not tht great but over priced. But primary reason for the 1 star is the cheating that they do. Swiped my card and moved the screen to me for signature, and they have already …

  20. Tons of food and beer options. Can walk around with your beer and food outside in courtyard. Sometimes there’s live music. Love going here, always bring friends

  21. Was a little lost at first but it was so worth it! Nearby parking is free for 90 minutes and has tons of open spaces. Great spot to take some Instagram pictures in little alleys, or just on the sidewalk. Tons of neat little restaurants with authentic and delicious food everywhere you look. I’d recommend it to anyone I meet!

  22. Great place to come hangout with friends while enjoying food, drinks, & music. Come for the atmosphere though, not the food (which was a little overpriced for the quality). Plenty of seating & shade, live music on Saturday night was a definite plus. Overall a very fun & friendly environment for a day/night out with friends.

  23. One of the most fun places you can go in downtown San Jose! A collection of food stalls and standing bars combined with open seating throughout both buildings and in the central courtyard. Food is extremely good here. Something for …

  24. The place has a lot of potential, good drinks, plenty of food selections. Crowd density is a bit on the low side on a Sunday. Good for me but not good for the businesses. Need more people in the square to support the businesses and increase the variety of drinks!

  25. It’s a great local hangout. There are bars, restaurants, and it’s blocked off from cars, so you can take your time to find something you’re looking for. Don’t forget, the weekdays, they do cost a lot earlier.

  26. We went to look at the adobe and decided to get something to eat on this visit.
You can view the adobe building and outdoor oven from behind a rope. It looks kinda cool. …

  27. As a venue, I love this place. The outdoor setting is a greT place for a meal or a drink with friends or family. It has always been clean when we’ve been here and the employees out in the courtyard have been attentive and polite. …

  28. A neat place with lots of hipster places to choose from. There are diverse food choices and many cool restaurants outside of the public market. Stroll down the pedestrian only street and find the perfect open air dining venue.

  29. It’s always fun to walk around this area. From here you can walk all the way to south Fisrt street. There are so many clubs and nice restaurants.

  30. This is really great place to hang out. There are wide variety of restaurants and bars. There is something for everyone. There is seating inside and also outdoors. I recently visited on St Patrick’s day. There was live band. Really enjoyed the place. Highly recommend this place.

  31. Best place to spend the night in DT San Jose. Great food and music and good vibes all around. Parking is super hard to find during peak hours. There are many public parking places nearby that have hourly parking

  32. Good spot to grab some food and drinks, a bunch of different food spots inside two separate buildings with a courtyard to sit and chill in between them. Occasional bands play in the courtyard. Overall chill spot in dtsj

  33. Very interesting market. Several food and drink stands with a variety of selection. The outdoors seating is nice, but don’t forget to walk through it to see more options in the other building!

  34. Three of us were wandering around downtown San Jose on a Saturday night trying to find somewhere to have dinner before the play at City Lights. Where was there a good place to eat that allowed us to park nearby??? A seemingly impossible …

  35. One of the best spots in San Jose to eat and hang out with friends. Lots of good restaurant selections. Love the patio area where there are heaters and a couple of TV’s for sports. Also there often is live music… A very happening place.

  36. What a great place to eat, drink, socialize, and hang out! I’m winter remember your warm clothes. To me this is a one of a kind spot. The food choices are phenomenal and good quality.

  37. Great spot! Chill vibe, has an outdoor stage and seating with live music (not sure how often it happens), and also has indoor seating at the various restaurants and in-between areas. …

  38. This place is smaller than I imagined with pretty basic food options (pizza, burgers, pasta, etc.), but it was still good food for a reasonable price with LOTS of outdoor seating. I recommend coming here for a quick and casual bite with friends and family.

  39. Perfect for a weekend brunch! Great vibe, good mix of indoor and outdoor seating with some screens showing sport events. There are a number of food joints and some options for drinks.

  40. I came here with my family on the weekend, and we have a good time.
Food is pricey but is really good, you have many options to choose from, there was live music and beer was good. …

  41. Watched Super Bowl with family on the outdoor seated tables here. With good choice of foods and drinks, it’s a pleasant evening meet spot for friends too.

  42. I loved this market! I came early on Thursday, just before the lunch crowd and had the whole place to myself. It must be a very popular spot with plenty of indoor/outdoor seating, huge televisions and food options for everyone. We got tacos …

  43. Drinks, food of different cuisines, live music and lovely open air seating: what more do you need to chill on a nice evening? A pet friendly place where you can bring your dog along and enjoy.

  44. A great assembly of casual eateries that offer great selection of cuisines, complete with 90 minutes of free parking, ample heated outdoor seating. Makes downtown SJ very accessible and user friendly. Kudos to SJ City for this thoughtfully put together tourist (but we’re locals!) experience.

  45. Great vibes here and tons of places to eat. The food was okay, couldve been better (pizza was a bit oily and the chips needed more salt) but overall a great place to socialize and eat at before an exciting night. The atmosphere here is …
