The cost of the electric bills are so high, if you can avoid using this company by way of alternative power or a different electric company do!!
Alright
Always rude and never call back.
Nice people to work with.
Will charge you any little thing they can
Terrible Company. Rude, inconsiderate, and the rates are outrageous.
3rd outage in weeks. 5th in about a month and half.
Very nice place. We hold monthly meetings there. Great people
Awful customer service, high rates, lots of outages with no explanation. They just send bills at random, 2 in one month, none for 2-3 months, etc.
We have been very happy with them. They are always friendly and are able to answer any questions we have. Great Service
Customer service is rude. They keep increasing already expensive costs and getting your deposit back is next to impossible, even if you’ve never been late making a payment.
They never call back. You try to work with them on any matter and they give you the run around until you get tired of dealing them. The most unprofessional power company in the state.
The absolute worse costumer service of any company around. They talk down to ppl like they are dumb or something. Common sense says they manipulate every situation to the point that they seem like they are in the right
Electricity is down throughout Custer county. There is no info on the website and automated phone system gives minimal information and has not been updated with status since yesterday morning. That’s what I call real service!
I have made over two dozen complaints in the past three years to the CO dept. of regulatory agencies & even they don’t care. So my attorney has complied enough evidence of illegal & fraudulent business practices so we can go ahead with …
For some reason we keep getting $400 electric bills when we live in a small trailer and nobody is literally ever home, I then set up payment plans with the company of $100 every 2 weeks until the Covid ordeal is over and we have been paying and paying even a bit more then agreed still received a cut off notice.
These people are a ripoff. $250 deposit no matter how good your credit. $15 set up charge and the $31.05 a month just as a service fee?!?!? Money hungry people that don’t care about their customers. Customer service is a joke too.
Crooks. They’ll sell you an “off peak” electric heater that will double your bill and they will not make payment arrangements in the winter time. They’ll just cut a family off in the dead of winter because that family can’t afford their …
Continued Cost Increases to Customers, Reimbursement Significantly Decreases for Net Meterers. …
I paid my bill and my daughter’s bill on August 31, a total of $121.20. My daughter had already paid her bill August 28 and she received an email from Sangre de Cristo on August 28 stating they had received payment. But when I went in on …
Most unprofessional and inconsiderate electrical company I’ve ever come across or had the displeasure of dealing with. Randomly turned off our power after 3 months of service, because they didn’t have a signature under a photo copy of a …
I’ve used SDCEA since moving to Westcliffe and so far, so good! They’ve been easy to work with and anytime I’ve called with a question they’ve been helpful. They also replaced the aging meter on my property as it was making quite a bit of noise and now it’s nice and quiet. Thanks, SDCEA for all you do!
I have used there service for 4 years on County Road 26. They are curtious and fix any line issues in a timely manner. I have always paid my bill on time so these low ratings from others, sounds like its coming from people that do not pay there bills and want special treatment. I highly recommend them.
Another great example of why monopolies are bad and should be prohibited. The fees are outrageous—you pay $40 EACH MONTH before even using any energy. And they require a $250 deposit—but instead of deducting bills from that, they hold it …
Debit card changed and bill didn’t get paid. Not even 10 days later electricity turned off. 10 days late? Big reconnect fee too. Why did I pay a deposit of a few hundred bucks? My monthly service fees are avg $10 more than my usage …
My photo does NOT match Sangre de Cristo . Boo hiss. Sangre has exclusive new building on acreage
Our power bill will go uo approximately 100% from 2021 to 2022. The base fee is going up 50%, from 31.00 to 46.00. We are net meter customers (solar). We will now also have to pay a transmission fee to use the power we generated when we pull power from the grid. Based on this our bill will go from 40.00 per month to close to 100.00
Highest Demand Charges in the entire state of Colorado. Pretending to be a CO-OP. Now raising prices again. Probably to keep paying for their expensive Christmas Parties at Mt. Princeton and bonuses . …
This Co-op is the most expensive in Colorado. DO NOT GO GREEN with these people. They discriminate against Solar and wind power producers. In Jan 2022 they tried implementing new rates and caused an uproar with it membership. The new new …
Received my very first bill today after an absence from BV for $38.16. Not a hefty bill to be sure, BUT, my energy charge on this bill was $0.13. The remaining $38.03 was for fees and taxes paid on the fees. $18.04 for “Service Availability …
