  4. I tried calling in multiple times to talk with the owner, but the front desk never answered the phone. I totally understand closing down the office for lunch, but I have a feeling someone is leaving early and coming back late.

  5. Although the website states they are open until 5, it seems they don’t answer the phone after 4:30. This has happened several times when it appears I’m on hold then the phone rings and I’m on hold again.j If the hours are 8-4:30, the website should say so which is frustrating.

  7. They have not picked up our recycling in a month. And when I called them they said they would send a driver to get it but it still was not picked up. This is not the first time we have had issues with this company. Really bad service.

  8. Terrible customer service. If they miss a pickup they bill you for it and don’t make an effort to come out and make a pickup until the next time around. Even if it is biweekly service like recycling. So it will be 4 weeks between recycling pickup.

  14. Customer service is a joke. It’s been weeks since my trash was picked up due to snow and ice. This week they rendered service and went right past my house (because it wasn’t our week) and was told to take it to area z in Sudden Valley. All in all this company is a joke.

  48. For over twenty years SSC has been a dependable and reasonable service provider to our residence. In addition, their support of local non-profits over the years has certainly made life easier/better for many. The SSC website allowed a smooth transition to paperless billing and autopay. So, for many reasons, thank you, SSC!

  49. I’m a 20-year customer of SSC. I find their service to be reliable, the drivers are very courteous and the dispatchers are very helpful and accommodating. I’ve called multiple times to change my service or request a extra or return pick up (when I’m late getting the bins out). They never fail to be prompt, kind and accurate.
