See The Trainer Reviews ( 44 )

  1. Received a sling in the ER after a motorcycle accident that retails for about $10. Company charged nearly 1000% markup and refused to negotiate or allow me to return. Total crooks.

  2. Terrible customer service. From the moment you walk in the door you get the feeling that they couldn’t care less about actually understanding your need and helping you. After they hustle you into buying something you don’t need or want. …

  3. Very awesome service. Was greeted at the door with a smile and helpfulness. Won’t go anywhere else. See the trainer is the place to go. The owner came and asked how everything is going, that’s called awesome customer service. Luv that place

  4. I do not recommend. If you are in the ER and they ask you to sign off on anything from See the Trainer – refuse it! You will pay out the nose and you will not be refunded!!! …

  5. Disappointed with their return policy. Tried to return a foot brace one week after I purchased it. Preferred a refund, but was willing to take a store credit. The clerk said they could do neither.

  6. Can you give zero stars. Needed a back brace. They charged me $180. Bought it on amazon for $30. There were over 20 different sellers with none of them priced over $50. They dont care about the customer. They only care about the bottom line. Avoid this store at all costs and go elsewhere.

  7. 100 percent AWESOME! Kristie Egan is as knowledgeable as she is compassionate. I truly felt listened to, taken seriously, and was provided a prompt solution to a lingering issue. I was hesitant after reading some poor reviews but was instantly/pleasantly surprised! Thanks for all the help, Kristie!

  8. When I spoke with the Franchise owner about how the Bellevue office was treating me and how horrific they had been, he accused me as being the problem and proceeded to be very cruel. I told him I am sick and have cancer and just got a bad …

  9. We received excellent service from Casey and her team. She was very knowledgeable about the equipment and quickly adjusted my daughter’s crutches so that she was much more comfortable. I would definitely recommend them for medical equipment. Thank you

  10. Beware of price gouging!! My son broke his collar bone in May playing baseball. Given the urgency of the situation, we went to the emergency room at CHI’s Midlands hospital in Papillion, NE. We recently received an invoice from See The …

  11. I would completely steer clear of See the Trainer. Their “return policy” is crap. Also, they completely over price every item they have there. They are dishonest in the fact of what they are charging customers as well as insurance. When I …

  12. Had a shoulder immobilizer from the ER was told they were billed third party. I found the exact brace for 25.99 on Coreflexs website. They are charging me 149.00. I refuse to pay 6 times the price. If you’re in the ER do not sign the paperwork for this company. How disgraceful.

  13. Waaayyy over priced…didn’t mention anything about price for my 4 year olds knee brace and even said most insurance will cover part or most. I have Blue Cross so we figured since it’s a pretty common insurance we would be good…nope! We …

  14. Be careful with the neoprene knee braces. They do not hold up. The stitching comes apart at the seam. I wear it for 2 hrs a week with light weight lifting. If you see a stitch come lose…return it immediately. They will only stand by …

  15. I got some excellent feet implants that are do comfortable that I can’t even tell it’s there! Not to mention it came with 3 different adjustment sizes. The customer service was flawless with the employee asking me reasonable questions and …

  16. I guess there are some bad reviews from a while ago so, I’m not sure if they are still applicable. All I know is Kristie is the best.
A lot of times reviews can be from competitors that try to make others look bad. …

  17. When I had a knee injury and needed a supportive/stabilizing brace I was referred to See The Trainer by a friend. I always do a ton of research on a business before trying them out. I saw mixed reviews and decided to give them a shot. …

  18. Received a simple product from them and wanted to pay for it. They refused payment at the time and then sent me a bill for $89. I checked on Amazon and found the same item for $11.50 I called the store and told them of the mistake and …

  19. Visited See the Trainer Friday afternoon to get fit with a wrist brace for my carpal tunnel. Heidi did an amazing job tending to my needs, and I can already see a difference in my wrist! Overall AMAZING experience! Thanks Heidi!

  20. Brought my daughter in for some awesome robotic-looking knee brace. The process was painless and Heidi made her feel very comfortable! Will definitely be recommending See the Trainer to friends and family!

  21. My wife was given an abdominal binder to help with pain after a surgery. A couple weeks later we got an invoice in the mail from this place for the binder, asking for $70. I found the exact item on various websites for anywhere from $15-35. What’s an extra $70 after $10,000 in medical bills though I guess. What a joke.

  22. Purchased an ankle brace for my daughter and the stitching started to come apart. Notified See The Trainer and they corrected the problem with a new brace. Great customer service, and great caring employees. CJ was great to deal with.

  23. I purchased an ankle brace and the staff was very kind and helpful. I usually buy them at Walgreens but the brand that Walgreens sells never seems to last and I end up re-buying them. I was tired of wasting my money so I went to See The …

  24. I feel extremely ripped off. First of all, I was referred by an orthopedic doctor. Having never dealt with this issue, i went with his recommendation. I went for a “fitting” and was told that, generally, insurance will cover it. 😂😂😂. …

  25. I’ve stopped into see the trainer to get fitted for a knee, elbow and back brace throughout the years. The customer service was fantastic every time. Fortunately, I’ve had the same attractive saleswomen all three times too, I want to say …

  26. I am updating my last rating to a 5 star due to the owner, Kristie, who contacted me right away by phone. She was kind enough to listen to my experience with the hospital and rectified the situation. Realy, by simply picking up the phone and calling me, it meant a lot. Thank you Kristie!

  27. I really wish I could have seen my family physician instead of going to a CHI clinic. CHI is already terrible to begin with, but this see the trainer thing they’re in cahoots with is pathetic. I can’t speak on their people, but it is the …
