Sheridan Memorial Hospital (WY) Reviews ( 61 )

  1. I am here every six weeks for appointments and schedule them a year in advance i rescheduled my appointment to 2 days earlier and the staff were rude and had no clue what was happening the people at the front desk repeatedly told me your not supposed to be here when i rescheduled three weeks prior but the food was decent

  2. Terrible food the menu is the same it’s been that way for at least 5 years nurses are very unfriendly and do not care about you at all and some of and some of the nurses helpers age or whatever they’re called they are the same way they …

  3. No one cares except the urgent care part.
Had to finally go out of town for health care. Shameful.
And they’re all afraid to prescribe medication’s. Aren’t they doctors? Isn’t that what they’re supposed to do?

  4. I brought my father in for a razor knife cut on his hand by the time we got through paperwork and sat in the waiting room for an hour we still didn’t get in for some time longer. Good thing he wasn’t dieing very very poor when you have to do paper work and not even see a dr.

  5. Almost 2 hours for an X-ray. Never got it as they were told ahead of time we had dialysis. Took 45 minutes just to check in. Get more help or don’t do xrays in sheridan

  6. Just saw Rebekah Montgomery for blood work follow up and she was wonderful! — professional, knowledgeable, didn’t rush me, and answered all my questions. I highly recommend Rebekah and Dr. Hannah Hall at SMH Internal Medicine.

  7. Do your self a favor go to Billings or Casper. Not joking you would be better off to knock on the nearest ranchers door and ask for a penicillin shot, scour pill and a wet blanket to curl up with. …

  8. Sheridan Media showing people in a internet article, how grim things are and people dying when they don’t have to die with the treatment out there! I contracted covid, treatment was Rogen-Cov infusion and was on my way to recovery. Don’t …

  9. I checked in outside the door got a time to return and left. I received a text telling me it was time for my appointment. When I checked in my name dropped to the bottom of the list. I asked why since I had checked in I was informed that …

  10. I been there three times. Each time the doctor has got it wrong, pass the buck, or just did not give you a comfortable feeling they know what there doing. Best food hands down, and great nurses. But unless you have a critical or physical visible wounds head out of state.

  11. Nurses need more medical training in side effects of medication and recognizing patients with these effects. Excellent er staff. They were great with my son and me. But bedaide Manor needs some inorovment.

  12. College student with horrible rash went in & was given antibiotic on face. Next day 2nd trip, eyes swollen nearly shut, antibiotic change but nurse practitioner didnt think the antibiotic caused it. Third day back in for recheck and PA …

  13. I’ve been to the hospital and the urgent Care 3 times in the past 2 weeks. They are all extremely professional and everyone I have dealt with has been very nice. Very clean and positive environment.

  14. I love the service I’ve had at SMH. They have been kind and compassionate through some very tough medical issues. From ICU and my Intensive Care nurses (Jessica K.), to the billing department, they have been wonderful to me. Thank you!

  15. I truly HATE this hospital, and trying to pay on my account! Their website, which one used to be able to EASILY pay on accounts has been TEMPORARILY down, since February, it is now almost July. When you call in to make a payment the billing …

  16. Extremely. Bad experience ill drive or fly to a different hospital. The nurse is in the ER I believe her name is Amy. She is sooooo rude there are a few in the ER who are rude I just now called to ask,if my situation after surgery was …

  17. Amazing care for a family member who was experiencing a life threatening illness. Walk in clinic kept in touch. He ended up at the ER and they were also great. Of course no one likes laying and waiting for UA and blood results, but it’s a …

  18. Instead of finding the problem, they will “assume” it’s probably something minor and send you home! Do NOT go to this hospital if you can! They have done nothing but ruin people’s lives instead of helping them, like a doctor should do! They …

  19. They should be using Hydroxychloroquin or Ivermectin to treat covid patients. Also if they would stop using the ineffective PCR test that can’t tell the difference between covid and the flu that would probably help. They will have to stop using them by late fall anyway as they have been recalled.

  20. Health care providers in Sheridan seem to be on their own schedules. No place open on Sunday except the ER and for a cough or less than emergency the bill that goes along with the level of treatment one receives is not justifiable!!! …

  21. By far the best ER I’ve been too, and being a horse trainer, I’ve been in many. Incredibly warm and thoughtful, the dr was very explanatory and shared the MRI findings as he did it. I was in and out with a copy of the xrays. He actually consulted with an Orthopedic Dr. even at 10pm. Very impressive.

  22. Based on my experience, the staff was very courteous and thorough. They were very polite and helpful when I was at my weakest moment. I was born in the hospital in 1984 and hadn’t been in for anything serious in years but the nurses and doctors went above and beyond to help make me comfortable while I was hurt and feeling weak.

  23. This hospital will not work with you with your bill, AT ALL. Even when paying the minimal payment that you can afford, they will send you to collections no matter what, cause they expect you to pay more. Living in today’s world and with Covid-19 this is ridiculous. Never will I go to this hospital again, dying or not.

  24. Just went for covid vaccine…more than pleasantly impressed by the entire staff, the logistics and the obvious care that was put into delivering this vaccine!
We never waited in line, everyone was so friendly, kind and compassionate. …

  25. Took my dad today to get his Covid shot. They just opened a covid shot clinic on the 2nd floor. Was very impressed, at least 20 people at a time were receiving their shots. they had chairs socially distanced where the patient sat, they …

  26. I took my son into the clinic. The check in process wasn’t horrible but you are extremely close to other people while giving out person am information. There were two people including my son to been seen. I had checked him in online and …

  27. The accounting department of this hospital is an absolute joke. They could care less about your financial situation. Their Financial aid department offers no solutions to help anyone out and just send your to collections.

  28. They do not care about the patients or community they serve. They tried to charge me for things they never did. Did not receive adequate care in the slightest. Had a bad burn on my hand. The doctor never asked what my range of motion or …

  29. I had to take my daughter into the ER last night and I was so impressed with their top-quality care that I felt I should submit a review. Every person was kind, caring, and thorough. We felt in the best of care possible at all times. My deepest appreciation for doctors and nurses of this highest caliber.

  30. I have had a few great experiences with the hospital. My last experience with urgent care was very pleasant. The staff worked hard on making sure I was checked in quickly. Everyone was nice and cared to hear about my symptoms. The doctor was very helpful. I will go back and recommend to others.

  31. Until you have been in a life and death situation, you will not know the talent that they have at this hospital. Unfortunately I know firsthand how fortunate we are to have the doctors available to us here. The nursing staff is hot and …

  32. I would like to express my gratitude and say “ thank you “ for the excellent care I received during my recent stay. All of people 🙁 doctors, nurses, lab technicians, kitchen and cleaning staff) were prompt, courteous, personable, yet …

  33. I had a planned surgery scheduled at this hospital. The nurses and the doctors I interacted with were excellent. The anesthesiologist, Dr. Ramsay, listened thoroughly to my concerns regarding pain control. He went through all of my options …

  34. The care I received from the ER staff was wonderful. Sheridan Memorial Hospital billing department is another story and very frustrating to deal with, no one picks up the phone or returns voicemails. You need notify your customers if your department is understaffed.

  35. This is hands down one of the most caring hospitals I have ever been to!Jeremy was my phlebotomist & the man is truly AMAZING at his job not to mention he was gentle & actually was very thoughtful regarding my insufficient blood veins! I have nothing bad to say. Honestly the most thoughtful, kind & helpful staff ever!

  36. Had to go to the emergency room once but had to move and stay about 5 days in the pediatric unit with my son because he was so sick. Let me tell you, those nurses/staff in pediatric were absolutely wonderful! My son and I both felt so …

  37. I have insurance, and I have ensured that the hospital has my current insurance multiple times by then scanning it in both Internal Medicine and Radiology. I have asked them to verify my insurance each time I have gone in, and they have …

  38. I had a family member go to ER in excruciating pain. Was told he needed an MRI but that he couldn’t get it without his doctor asking for one. It was the weekend so that wasn’t happening. They got the pain under control, sent him home. No …

  39. We have found the nursing staff friendly but a number of them very poorly trained as they can not answer my husband’s basic questions I knew the answers for. There has been constant mess ups the last two months including being left unattended in the E.R. for 45 minutes after the doctor prescribed care for a serious condition.

  40. Hospital provided top notch and life saving care. My husband had a widow maker heart attack and Dr. Lieb performed CPR within seconds. ED nurses, other providers, lab staff, cath lab techs/nurses, ICU nurses were AMAZING. They were so kind …

  41. This was the BEST experience! The nurse Leanna seen that I was SERIOUSLY dehydrated and jumped right in to get me the help I needed! Sandy was so gentle when putting in my IV and Dr. Nickerson was AMAZING! Thank YOU UC for all the GREAT Work and attention you give to patients!

  42. I needed to go to Urgent Care for a cold that went into my eye. The care I received was timely and top notch. They also gave me great instructions for what to do at home for follow-up. It was a very comfortable and successful experience.!
