  7. After signing their contract, they had problems porting the phone numbers for 11 days. Right when everything was set to finally port, we were told they were not going to port the numbers after all, essentially wasting everyone’s time.

  8. Horrible. If there was another choice, I’d be without socket in a heartbeat. They advertise 200mb internet, yet I’m only getting between 30-50mb. “Tech support” has tried multiple times to fix it and has not succeeded. This service is garbage.

  10. Centurylink owns all the circuits on the north side of the town. So basically if you use their service, you are using the service from Centurylink. They are building high speed fiber network on south side of the town, which is up to 1GBps which is worth trying.

  11. Disclaimer: they do not have very fast speeds. That being said, they are very reliable compared to mediacom with very little outages or issues of any kind in comparison. Also the people are very pleasant to deal with in comparison to mediacom.

  16. The ability to reach a real person and receive immediate attention is more valuable than any other consideration when evaluating an ISP. I don’t mind having a problem when I’m able to communicate this, receive an understanding response, and have it fixed (and all my questions answered) with a single call.
