(Translated by Google) The work that Dr. Rierson does with my children is wonderful. …
(Translated by Google) The receptionists were very kind and diligent.
The nurses who gave him the shots danced and sang to distract him. I’m sweet. Thank you …
They refused to see my 4-month-old when he was starving, losing weight and needed help to take a bottle, because we weren’t sure if we were ready to commit to them as our primary doctor. They’re in it for the money, not because they love children.
I come here for allergy care. My doctor & the allergy nurses are amazing!
But I cannot in good conscience recommend this clinic based on the interaction I …
The care my daughter received has been great. I liked the doctors we’ve seen. I like how they are keeping respiratory appts separate from well visits. …
Dr. Roger Aviles is the worst physician at this clinic. We had a great experience with most of the providers but he is incredibly rude and undermines your child’s illness. We requested to test my child for strep and he said she has a …
.I recommend this place!
Wonderful staff 🙂
Best place to bring your children!!
Terrible experience with insurance fraud and unnecessary service
They are always amazing with my son!
This one is for Dr. Aviles! Kind, compassionate and competent! Thank you!
The doctors and nurses are great but the people who take the calls for appointments are so rude
Horrible experience. Spoke just over the phone their replies were rude . Just called to find out about immunizations and they were horrible.
The staff over the phone went above and beyond my expectations, taking care of all the problems switching pharmacies that the pharmacies weren’t taking care of. Very helpful!
My daughter has been going to see her ped here since she was born very understanding listens and over all great place to bring your child I love it here!! I highly recommend!!!
When we need nurse on the phone lines are a mess. I’ve been on hold for a long time just to be answered briefly and put on hold again.
the administration of the worst service my baby attended this clinic for a year until the next year the insurance was changed to ucare denying an appointment to my baby having a fever, arguing that they were not accepting that insurance.
Staff seems knowledgeable, but it’s impossible to get anyone on the phone. I’d rather call the DMV then deal with these people.
Dr. Kristopatus was amazing when our child had care there. Staff and nurses were always nice and friendly.
All 3 children have come here to see Dr. Lawler. Met her at Abbott with the birth of our first child. Great approach with kids.
We LOVE Southdale Peds! We never have to wait for very long in the waiting room which is nice with kids! And we LOVE LOVE Dr.Hinrichs! We will never go anywhere else!
Doctors and nurses are all nice, but most visits I wait 45+ minutes to be seen, and have experienced numerous mix ups, not being called, someone being called in front of me with a later appointment, all very frustrating while waiting with a young child.
Love the doctors, but anticipate being on hold for 20-45 minutes each time you call (to make an appointment or speak with a nurse). They really need to address this.
Great clinic and our provider is top notch.
It is pretty disappointing to be told that Southdale Peds’ policy is to not provide a doctor’s note for kids with conditions to not have to wear a mask during sports. Clearly not looking out for the best interest of the kids.
Update- received a nice note, apology and alternate fax number. I am pleased with this outcome. Original review: Terrible customer service. I have been trying to send them a fax for 3 days and it won’t go through. I’ve called twice and they …
I advise all people to avoid lawler as a pediatrician. Our son has a genetic/metabolic condition that prevented him from walking by a 15 months. If lawler had ordered the amino acid screen as she intended, his serious brain injury due to …
Hated our experience at Southdale Peds. We are still trying to reconcile a bill from November 2014, and have tried countless times to get ahold with the business office after leaving 5 messages. They have yet to return our call and contact …
The pediatricans, including Allergists brought my two youngest children, from birth to young adults with expert care, compassion and kindness. Both of my youngest had deathly allergies, chronic sinus infections, multiple sugeries, allergy …
Very nice hospital. Nurses and other staff members are really good. I like all the doctors so far but Dr Sara Brandt is amazing. My kids loves her. She is awesome.
This clinic seems to be organized, with off hours care for emergencies and working parents. The Doctors don’t rush through the appointments and engage in conversation. We have mainly seen Dr Bodine, he first cared for our 5lb primie all the way to our current 3yr toddler. Dr Bodine is very attentive and through in discussions and care.
I’ve been a patient of Southdale Peds since my birth (now 22 years old); I do have a primary doctor at the Edina office, but have seen others at the Eden Prairie and Edina offices as well. I have never had a complaint about my care there, …
So thankful for the exceptional care we receive at Southdale Pediatrics from Dr. Fiebiger. Lucky to have found a doctor for my daughter who goes above and beyond like she does. 5 stars isn’t enough!
We have been seeing Dr.Miller since our first daughter was born in 2012 and now our second daughter is seeing him as well.
He is awesome with our girls and is very informative, helpful and has great …
Worst doctors ever. They do not care about anything but money 💰 greedy …
Dr. Nelson has been a wonderful allergist for my son. I love her demeanor, and most of all, she is succeeding in getting my son over his allergies through food challenges. We’ve overcome 2 of 3 allergies so far. That’s life changing. It has been a wonderful process. I recommend her whole-heartedly.
Having four kids, we’re at Southdale Peds more often than most. Our kids always receive exceptional care from their physicians, particularly from our primary, Dr. Fiebiger, who has gone out of her way to ensure that our children are meeting their developmental milestones to the best of their abilities. So very thankful!
Very slow and unprofessional. My newborn had to wait 45 minutes past the appointment time. The pediatrician answered my questions very vaguely, all to the extent of “it varies from baby to baby”. Then she examined my sleepy newborn’s eyes by forcefully digging her long nail in, leaving a lasting mark.
We saw Dr, Nelson for Allergies, she was was nice and all the stuff were good also.
We initially started seeing Dr. Nice… He was a absolute jerk and makes you feel like a idiot if you ever ask questions (as a first time parent of course we had questions). We then switched to Dr. Kristupatis, wow what a difference! He’s …
We can’t say enough positive things about Southdale Pediatrics. We bring our boys to see Dr. Neis and they absolutely love him. As new parents, he reduced our anxiety about our inexperienced decisions. And now as parents of two growing, …
I take all 4 of our babies (9, 5, 2, and 4 months) to see Dr Cally Scherber. We have seen a few doctors there, but she is the one we knew we needed to stick with. We wanted to find someone we would really “click” with, and we think she is …
I am giving this Southdale Pediatrics locations 3 stars only because of the care the doctor gave. Other than that, I am thoroughly disappointed with the Edina clinic. My daughter was administered a lab test for an illness that was shipped …
Our son suffered a preventable stroke under the “care” here. He almost died and suffered permanent damage as a result. Our primary pediatrician had several concerns. She mentioned specific tests at multiple appointments and then refused to …
We’ve had three well checks, and unfortunately three sick visits, at Southdale Pediatrics and have always had a good experience with the staff and doctors. Today was our son’s 6months check up and we saw Dr Aviles for the first time. He was …
The doctors and nurses here are so amazing!
The lobby has some books and stuff to keep kids entertained and a bunch of turtles which our kids love. …
Our physician is great. Business office is terrible. Of all the physician groups are daughter saw after being born premature, they are the only ones we had issues with billing. They claim we didn’t have insurance coverage, but after talking …
Very poor schedule management. The nurses bring patients back quickly but then we sit in the room waiting for the doctor for 20-30 min. This has happened on a couple of occasions (and both times it was one of the first appointments of the …
Dr. Sundquist is an amazing allergist. I have been seeing her for 6 months now and she has solved so many things that other allergists and doctors have not been able to find. The nurses and staff are all extremely nice as well. I would suggest Southdale Allergy to anyone!
Phone wait times can be long; yesterday (a Monday) I was caller 22 – but I set the speakerphone and multi-tasked for 30 minutes. Once I did speak to a nurse, she was great! Wait times to be seen for scheduled appointments can also be …
I dread having to call the nurse line. You have to wait 20-30 minutes just to have someone in scheduling transfer you to another queue where you have to wait a LONG time again. The callback option needs to be available right away, instead …
While I thought the doctor we saw was attentive, they gave my 4 mo old son a vaccine he was not supposed to have again until 6 months, which is sort of upsetting as giving correct vaccines seems like basic standard of care for a new baby. …
The doctors are amazing but the clinic is unusable due to terrible administration. At least 45 minutes on hold every time you need an appointment. If you request a callback, no one calls back. We quit this practice after it took me 90+ minutes (after two no callbacks) to get an appointment for a child with a concussion.
The care is good. The doctors and nurses are generally pretty friendly and competent. The scheduling is a nightmare. I’ve never waited less then 30mins. to talk to anyone about scheduling or a nurse. As a full time working mother with …
We absolutely love our daughter’s pediatrician. She’s wonderful with kids and as a first time mom, she’s great with me too. If I was rating on her alone, it would be a 5 star review. …
Starting from the first newborn appointment when my little guy had a handful of minor complications, to our 12 month appointment, the clinic has held our hand thru it all. The providers have great follow-up and take the time to answer our …
I feel like Southdale Pediatrics doesn’t care about the children and more about the money. They refuse to see one of our kids because of a small bill from our other son. Like what kind of place refuses to take care of the child first? I …
I have been visiting this clinic for more than 8 years and always likes it.
Recently, I am really fed up with their scheduling process and nurse line. If …
We’ve been coming to SDPA for all our kids since birth, almost every 10 years now, and the accessibility of services has declined so rapidly in the past year. …
Have been with Southdale peds for many years. No issues, care was great. Loved our pediatrician. …
We’ve been going to Southdale peds for nearly 7 years, and will only continue to go b/c of Dr. Fiebiger—she is truly amazing! The one star review is for horrible wait times on the phone (and headache-inducing hold music. Truly, no parent …
I’ve been going here since 2016 and since 2019 things have gone really downhill. They’ve updated their answering service which has resulted in 60+ minute wait times to speak with a nurse. I’ve followed the prompts for a call back and never …
I absolutely love our pediatrician, Amy Wudel, and she is the only reason that keeps me from leaving Southdale Peds. The wait times for any service are absolutely horrid. In order to cancel/reschedule an appointment, you have to wait on …
I read the reviews and just kind of chuckled, the phone wait times are hit or miss. Everyone is short staffed right now so it’s to be expected. Sign up for the patient portal and book all the appointments online. Easy to change or cancel if …
We like our doctor but the office management has really gone downhill in the past couple of years. The phones are terrible. Super long hold times and you have to wait for scheduling before you can be transferred to wait for a nurse. The …
