Smu is the wrost service I ever had they add to charges to your account without you knowing plus their customer service is worthless I will never get service from them again they do not care about their customers the only thing they care about is the customer money.
SMU needs to work out their Internal problems with the internet, because this whole month around the 5 am hr it always cuts out and I call and am I always get told that it’s a problem on their end. Quit dinking around with it!!!
The general manager of Spencer MU helped me out recently. He went above and beyond to assist me. What a great guy and such a great community.
The unreasonable charges that are the electric meter charge and the water customer charge are clearly examples of a company screwing its residents because of the monopoly it has. I have never had utility bills this high.
Its a business with no competition. A monopoly, they can do as they please. Not hard to see why there lowest paid employees are paid more than the majority of the population. Just raise the rates add new automatic charges and create dependency with a heavy backing from that tied in bureaucracy aka government.
It’s a rip-off. I had Xfinity back home where im from and for 50$ got 200mbs . Here I pay 100$ for 50mbs. It’s a joke . Add cable it’s more than the rest of my utilities combined!!!

Just moved back here after being gone for 30+ years and still disappointing. My internet goes down every night and yet you want to charge larger city pricing? At least you should have continuous service…its not dial-up!
A person in customer service shut off my internet on a friday afternoon with no call or explanation. I called after hours and had it turned back on but the guy had no idea why it was shut off.
If could leave a zero star I would. They over charge way too much for internet (about $60 a month for only 10 mb.) It frequently disconnects and we are always told we should upgrade to 50 mb a second for $100. Switching to Mediacom ASAP …
