Springfield Medical Care Systems Reviews ( 33 )

  1. My orthopedic was shocked that this ER instructed me to take the sling off as much as possible after breaking my arm. I was told I may need surgery because my arm was not fully immobilized, causing the bone fragments to shift. They also …

  2. Terrible bedside manner. No curtisy and everyone working here seemed to be to important to be bothered to answer any questions. Go to DHMC if you have the option.

  3. I love this hospital.. the staff is dedicated and very competent. Their doctors and Nurse Practioners are all top notch!. The staff goes that extra mile

  4. This piece need to close no cell service in the rooms and no room phones no way to contact family and or friends yes the lpns and lans r very nice but some of the head nurses r not some Dr.s like the One I have now is nice dont come here go to DHMC

  5. I am very disappointed with the ER from this last weekend. From using me as a pin cushion when I told them before any poking happened AND it is in my medical chart to use an ultrasound machine. The IV that they left in me is absurd (I’ll …

  6. My husband had a pulmonary function test on a Fri. and we were not given our results by hospital and no doctors are available to interpret the test after 5 days???? Totally incompetent hospital. They have not even given our doctor the report.

  7. Had mammography done the end of March, it’s now mid-April and Radiology states they aren’t going to release the findings until they received a prior mammography. Yet it was sent to them TWICE at their request, and still it isn’t released. …

  8. I’ve never been treated so good at any hospital doctor Kane the ED doctor went above and beyond the see I was feeling better I was hurt and lost all feeling in my legs and also Courtney was an awesome amazing nurse I think All doctors and …

  9. I fell on the ice in Feb. and broke a bone near my wrist. When we got to the ER I was pleasantly surprised. They had masks to protect you from flu available, and the woman who gave me the paperwork was thoughtful and kind. Next, another …

  10. Very very very very slow. Even in the emergency room it takes forever to be seen and when you go to a room your sitting there about an hour to 2 and half hours until a doctor finally comes to see you. Terrible bedside manners. I highly suggest going to Dartmouth instead if you have that option. Don’t come here.

  11. 5 stars for the nurses and doctors… especially those in the childbirth center. They are wonderful, compassionate people doing great work. Reception is hit or miss. Billing department is awful to deal with, rude and poorly trained. The building itself is clean and easy to navigate.

  12. Can’t stand the hospital made us sit for 2 hours in the waiting area while my husband told them when we went in that he was having chest pains shortness of breath I said something all they say is sorry 😞 horrible place …

  13. We had a very good experience at Springfield hospital. We went to the emergency room for my sons symptoms of a concussion. The administration services admissions woman was quick to get our info, and compassionate. The nurses were prompt …

  14. I never go to the hospital unless I’m just about dying. Last night, I went to the ER. My experiences with ER staff at other hospitals haven’t always been great so I was nervous. My anxiety was quickly put at ease. The staff is super …

  15. I came in with a broken leg straight off Okemo Mountain and could. It have been treated better. The staff was wonderful and I am on my way to a full recovery. Thank you Springfield! – Max

  16. This place is dangerous. Stay away! Getting worse by the day! A week to get them to fill a simple prescription (unbelievable amount of phone calls). And once their incompetence hits the weekend “Sorry you’ll have to go to the emergency room, we don’t fill prescriptions on weekends” Just don’t even have a word!

  17. There are so many negative experiences in four day stay, would horrify anyone. Would rather die on my way to Dartmouth then ever go there again! I was the mistreated party,I am not asking anything, if you really want to fix this you know how to reach me this is on you.

  18. My trip to the ER was on June 10th of this year. The quick thinking of the doctors and nurses there that day saved my life. In less then an 45 minutes they discovered I had a aortic dissection. They called D.A.R.T, which was there in less …

  19. I have had to visit the ER three times in the past 7 months. Two of those by ambulance in very rough shape. I couldn’t say enough positive things about all of the doctors and nurses that saw me right away. I’m happy we have this hospital close by.

  20. I was there for an endoscopy. I cannot give enough praise to the nurses, anesthetist, and doctor who participated in this procedure. They were professional, kind, good-humored, and caring. The procedure went off smoothly and quickly, and they deserve the five stars!
