The billing practices of this health care system, founded by nuns, has become harsh and deceitful. They want their money and will lie to a customer to get it. They are out for blood
I was in the infusion center. Karen one of the nurses there took care of it my insurance problem I was having. She didn’t have to do that.
The billing department is TERRIBLE to deal with. For someone who is trying to pay their bills, SSM is the most unhelpful department I have experienced. I would recommend using doctors outside of the SSM family if at all possible so that you can avoid the frustration with their billing department.
Was able to get appointment with primary care same day which was great. She is an active listener, and she heard me out on my issues that not all doctors really listened to. She wasn’t quick to diagnose and prescribe, which I like about her. She really cares.
