St. Charles Hospital Reviews ( 147 )

  1. (Translated by Google) Hello, for me it is the best Hospital in the world for 18 years I was there my son was operated on and here I have him with me my son could die at 9 months according to the doctors but we came from Honduras to this …

  2. My daughter had her baby on February 3rd, 2023. We had the worst experience in the maternity department. The staff was nasty, without empathy, heartless, no compassion. They didn’t help the new parents to go through the beautiful time of having a newborn in a peaceful way, they made their lives miserable, and stressful.

  3. Sad….all these bad reviews from patients and family…needs to be followed up by administration and nursing administration…..I would not go here after reading the reviews….and a Catholic Hospital at that…where is the compassion?…..

  4. This place is the worst pushed drugs on my brother to get him out of the physical rehab and when my mom can’t take care of him because he needs more help then they said he did they are not giving him the care he needs I’m really about to call news 12 for neglect

  5. HORRIBLE PLACE. DO NOT BRING ANYONE HERE. YOU WONT KNOW IF YOUR FAMILY MEMBER IS ALIVE OR NOT. THEY ARE SO RUDE AND MEAN. ANYONE GOING HERE WILL COME OUT WORSE OFF. I GIVE THEM A NEGATIVE 10. MAKING MY EXPERIENCE A THOUSAND TIMES WORSE THAN IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN. THEY NEED KNEW EMPLOYEES THAT KNOW HOW TO SPEAK TO PEOPLE.

  6. Worst hospital ever ! I had to walk out because hours passed, no one came over to see what was wrong. Doctors and nurses were hanging out laughing and joking around.

  7. I’m someone with a lot of relatives in healthcare professions. That doesn’t make me an expert but this place does really well. I would choose this hospital again.

  8. It is a kind of good experience to be treated in this ER facility.
They recorded all by hand not with computers. It seemed to be old and outdated.
However they tried to help me to be treated properly.

  9. I received excellent care at Saint Charles hospital.I went in for a simple procedure and a health issue was found, the issue addressed and was put at ease by a very high quality staff.Thank You!!!!

  11. Absolutely terrible hospital, there was no one at the desk to ask after I’ve been waiting for an hour for any update on my mother. Called several different numbers for the hospital and got no answer at all until someone picks up and tells me they don’t know anything about it or who I should call instead. Absolutely ridiculous

  12. Worst hospital went there for abdamonial pain .not only did they leave me in pain they were nasty. The nurses and the Dr . never will I go back there again. I wouldn’t even given them a star. But had no choice. I been to Southside hospital once before, they treated me better .

  13. Great experience. Nursing and staff were nothing but caring and helpful. Very friendly and made me feel comfortable. Hospital is clean and they have good food

  14. The “Un-Happy Place”.

A palpable sense that the staff is not glad to be there. Dingy ambulatory waiting room. Many of the Hand Sanitizer dispensers don’t work. Nor does the WiFi.

  15. Went in with severe pain and received no help. Not even a ice pack and feel asleep and when I woke up told me I was being discharged. Offered no prescriptions or help.

  27. Honestly I’ve seen better hospitals. They don’t keep up with things, that fact that you have to hound them for answers on your family member in a hospital it’s insane. On top of it I’ve been coming here for almost three weeks and one of the rooms in icu is ripped apart cause of mold and destroyed cabinets. It’s horrible

  28. I wouldn’t even give a star, but in order to write a review you must. April 13 2016 is a day ill never forget, that is the day the staff in St Charles Hospital port Jeff killed my dad. They left him in the ER (not checking on him for …

  39. My Mom is 86, she is in and out of St Charles on a regular basis. The staff is kind and patient. The doctors and nurses and aides in Emergency are wonderful. Growing old is very difficult on the patient and the family. They have been nothing short of wonderful.
