  14. An established company that is growing and changing. Working here is pretty relaxed and low stress, it is located right in downtown but the parking situation could be better. A parking garage would be preferable over 3 open lots but honestly it’s still good.

    i dont know why, When it rains heavily, the roof leaks and damages the ceiling. and they clams everything over $300, so bad for insurance company.

  16. These guys are a ripoff. They over charged me for ten years and then when we cancelled our policy they tried to charge us over $7000 for the previous years workers comp policy. Nothing changed on our end just their policy magically changed after we cancelled. These guys are the worst. Dont ever do business with this company.

  19. I paid one insurance payment late they will no longer insure me. No mulligans here. I suggest going elsewhere by principle, even if you are a perfect, on time bill payer. An unexpected setback might hit you too, and they will relentlessly drop you immediately.

  20. Used their homeowners insurance for close to 20 years – never missed a payment. Got a nonrenewal letter stating that my agent is no longer with the company. This is why I’m being dropped. Very nice.

  27. I was in an accident 2 weeks ago. The person who rear ended me uses State Auto. After two weeks State Auto has yet to contact the driver that hit me or pull the police report. Multiple calls this week have yielded no new information or progress.
