The property manager for my building is great and she deserves 5 stars, but Sudler’s payment portal is outdated and hard to use. They charge a fee for making a bank payment for assessments and it takes 3 days to post. Why would I pay almost …
When they say they were going to call you in 10 minutes, it means goodbye, with an extremely condescending tone. It is sad that I cannot give zero-star.
Are zero stars possible? This “management” is a joke. Who is “managing” the doorman who sits and stares into space as the elderly and those in need struggle to open the doors?
Sudler recently took over the management at 1111 S. Wabash, but you’d think Alex and Dorothy have been here for years. They’re organized and responsive, and they’re always ready to help!
Having worked with Sudler for over 4 years, it is very clear that their main focus is on their client and making certain the client is well served. I would highly recommend them.
Patricia Slabich is not professional, has zero people skills, and a lack of ethics. I would not recommend her or her company to anyone ever.
Stay far away.
The Sudler on-site property manager office at 111 Chestnut (Caterina Mihaila & Sara Rudnik) is terrific! They are very friendly professional and respond to requests and inquiries promptly.
Terrible management company. I moved into a sudler managed building at the beginning of April 2015. By June 1st 2015, my phone number still is not in the system for guests to call me, they’ve inappropriately cut the locks on my brand new …
Excellent management company with probably the best solutions to everyday issues handled in a timely manner. Over 20 years of dealing with other management companies, Sudler definitely stands out as being top on my list.
My building manager Cheryl is notorious in my building. She ran up on me and screamed in my face and has never apologized. Worst building manager ever. Im not comfortable in my home because of her presence. Shes terrible.
Sudler is disgusting “management” company. I would give zero rating if possible. Very unpleasant and dishonest. They’re not worth anything. Self-managed boards have greater oversight responsibility. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!!
I used to live in a Sudler managed building. Whenever I had a problem the staff was very responsive and communicated well. Would live in a Sudler building again.
I had an open issue with Sudler after a transaction was completed in August. After numerous emails and phone calls over the past month, Sudler has not yet communicated with me to resolve the matter. Hence, I do not recommend Sudler due to …
Live here at 253 E Delaware Pl and I love my apartment!! The doormen are very helpful!! The property is very clean at all times and they disinfect everything very often!! Definitely follow covid guidelines.
Awful management. I’ve been here 7 years and we’ve had over 30 front desk people come and go. My ceilings are leaking from bad windows and they refuse to fix the problem. They claim they are dog friendly but they are not by any means. …
Sudler Property Management is a joke. They are completely unresponsive, condescending, and truly terrible. I lived in a condo “managed” by Sudler and they were more of a problem than they were help. If you are considering a property …
Sudler is the best management company in the city for running an HOA. People who don’t own a home don’t understand the difference between the Board and Management, but anyone who has owned condos in any larger building in Chicago can tell you that Sudler is the best custodian of an Association’s money.
Starting allowing construction to resume during COVID in our condo building. We have a gut/remodel next door and cannot work anywhere else. Sudler did not care or give us an inch in trying to negotiate around this. We had to leave our apartment for going on 5 weeks now because they wouldn’t do a single thing for us.
I have lived in several condos in Chicago and Sudler is the best by far. They make it a point to communicate with residents and they go the extra mile to make sure that we get the best prices from vendors. What I like most is that Mr. Levy, …
I switched a bank account due to COVID and my payment failed for the first time in 5 years. I was charged $50 return fee. Not $15, $20 or $30 but $50. I expected more empathy in these uncertain times. Property manager just said it was a …
I have lived at 2728 N. Hampden in Chicago for the last 12 years. Sudler is our management company. They have been extremely responsive and Dean Lerner even went out of his way to help me with a problem when I was out of town for an …
Sudler Property Management is a breath of fresh air.

Sudler is by far the best management company that we have ever had. We replaced First Service Residential after many years of deficient service and high turnover of our staff. Sudler did a property report and is in the process of addressing things that should have been addressed by our former management company.
Sudler does not hire people who are competent and understand laws that govern property. Their PM came to my home during pandemic without a mask, asking to see my home WITHOUT a valid legal reason because another resident complained of an …
I have worked with Sudler as a board president for 5 years (2008-2013) following their implementation as our as our property management company. We have had nothing but good experiences with Sudler and the Sudler staff. The best thing I …
Catherine is a disaster. No personal skills. Always behind a computer. Some have seen her dozing off in her office when piles of complaints keep stacking. She is the ‘bad apple of management world’ they keep referencing. Sudler is a dying entity. They likely will be sued in near future.
Loving Sudler! A absolutely loving the fact that Sudler is preparing our beautiful pool for an early spring opening. Our staff has to be the best on the planet thanks to Sudler’s management team. We just renewed their contract for five more …
Jennie and her staff at Hancock go out of their way to make sure that residents get the best service. Always helpful and always with a smile. I have lived in 2 Sudler managed buildings and can only say great things about the company. …
Nothing quite like having to pay a $200 moving fee for a box of clothes. I own a property which is managed by Sudler and their fees are through the roof and very shady. Tenants are being charged for a special assessment, which is not …

Having lived in buildings managed by many different Condo and Apartment management companies I have to say that Sudler has been the most professional and responsive. Service requests get taken care of quickly, and the manager answers the phone, unlike at some other buildings.
I lived in a condominium managed by Sudler for over 6 years, and I will not consider any properties managed by this company anymore. Even though a lot of charges and hostile policies are adopted by the HOA Board; however, when your HOA …
Nowadays anyone can be a “manager”, and I mean, anyone, because apparently managers at sudler don’t need management and people skills. They just love power, even if it’s within a building. With the “manager” title, they forget the fact that …

Incompetent and dishonest.
Bad ethics and bad employees
Poor management and leadership. Starts at the top
Outstanding customer service. Awesome management team.
Fabulous management. …. professional, courteous and always responsive!
Sudler saves us money and provides great service.
Unfriendly and hard to work with. Worst property management company I have ever worked with.
Best management team I’ve ever had the privilege to work with.
Arrogant and unethical nonsense is what you will encounter with this company. Don’t waste your time.
Would rate zero if I could.

I would advise Condo Boards to seek alternatives. There are many better options. Unresponsive and lack of respect starting at the top.
