This utility company operates worse than any other city and any other state I have ever lived in. The billing and payment notification system is set up completely to the deficit of the customers and if it weren’t a monopoly then I would leave and use another company.
I would give 0 stars if I could. Moved to the area to come to find out their website account login and services are antiquated. They never answer their phone and gets routed to the after hours person because they do not answer. Late fee is super high! $30 vs a %15 on the City of Goose Creek. Ugh!

Changing the billing system and charging $30 for a late fee is ridiculous. Then when people complained you changed it to a $10 late fee, cut people’s water off the next day and then charge a $20 reinstatement fee.
Margaret has a constant nasty attitude! It is uncomfortable to even be in there when she is at the counter! The other ladies always are friendly and helpful with a smile. Kudos to Summerville CPW from being open from 7:30am to 5:30pm making it convenient for customers.
