Poor quality of phone answering machine, overcharging, poor quality of braces, everyone there gives you different answers.
Unprofessional company and horrific customer service. Took two weeks to get the CPM, and 4+ for them to call me back with an update on whether or not insurance will cover the costs. Unreal
Very poor quality of brace I couldnt use it once and now struggle with my old ones that dont fit well but at least fit in my shoe, I have a size 10 foot the brace they made wont fit in a size 15 shoe without my foot in it what am i supposed …
This is absolutely ridiculous. $550 for foot brace and hand brace. I can get a better quality for less than $100 for both. Be aware of these scammers.
Well I got an appointment very quickly. I braved traffic and made my appointment on time. After 1/2 hour of waiting, I discovered that the technician was double booked and I not even beens seen. I think it is important to value my time. I ended up leaving without seeing anyone.
Outrageous!! Charged 300$ for a walking boot that costs 80$ on the internet. I wonder why so many providers choose to partner with this money-minded agency despite the low ratings. Shame!!
I really don’t even want to give them 1 star. Truly the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with. I came home to a massive box that I was supposed to use to return a CPM machine that my son used after his acl surgery. The problem? …
Paid my debt ($71.83) and they keep sending me a bills with late charges… After reading other reviews, it sounds like this is a core strategy in their billing department. Absolutely disgusting!
Woman called me with a rude tone asking why an order for a shower chair was placed. I explained it was most likely my case manager and if she would like to speak to her she would know why… and the Woman replied to me “well no I don’t want …
These people are pain. They provided me with hand splints through my doctor but they forgot to take my worker’s comp info. I doubled checked with my doctor and they said they sent them all the info. But, They kept shooting me with bills, …
BEWARE!!!! These people are con artists!!! I was assured and guaranteed I would have zero out of pocket expenses for a shoulder brace needed for post surgery. I later received a bill for $200 for this brace (which most likely cost less than $100 to make…). Stay as far away from them as possible, or get the guarantee in writing!
One star is too high. They fraudulently overcharge patients for medical equipment and then say they’ll give you a “discount” which is still way overpriced. They billed me $98 for an arm sling which costs under $30 elsewhere. Beware, …
Due to a lapse in insurance, I was unable to pay the bill for a walking boot and crutches given to me at the ER. Adam from Surgi-Care worked with me to help me afford the supplies and did so respectfully and with kindness. I really had an excellent experience in every interaction with this company.
Had a similar experience to the Leons. Had to cancel appointment due to insane traffic on Pike; called from road and made a new one. Had to brave same insanity a week later, arrived just on time after 1 hour plus on road from Brookline; …
Apparently they sold a crutch through Emerson Urgent Care. But instead of sending a bill to us directly, they silently sent it to the debt collector… how dare you.
The brace I got from them is pretty good. However, after I paid for it, they sent me a bill in the mail. If I hadn’t been paying attention, I’d be out an extra $250+. …
Like many complaints, was told no out of pocket expense. Now I am paying off awalking boot that was over priced. I set up a payment plan with them, and now they are saying nothing was saved.
Sorry I had to give them a star. These people are in bed with insurance companies and hospitals. They jack the price of, for example, an orthopedic boot” that sells on Amazon and other sites for $50 – $70 dollars. They submit the charge of, …
From being brought my CPM machine (2 days after my ACL reconstruction – should have been delivered the day after surgery), to talking with their “customer service” which is outsourced to India (fact), to trying to get my CPM picked up (20 …
The brace was recommended by my doctor aside from the “free” one you get from the hospital. I got a Surgi-care brace as the doc’s office strongly suggested it over the other. The tech came to my home and assured that it would be free with …
READ BEFORE PAYING YOUR BILLS!!!
I recieved two separate itemized bills. One for over $200 and one for $118 (so over $318 TOTAL). I first paid the one for $118 and a few weeks later recieved an …
Surgicare Inflated the price of an air-cast walking boot that goes for about $60-$75 dollars from pretty much any online seller to $350. That’s about a 450% increase. Detestable.
After reading some of the previous reviews we were a bit skeptical. We were happily surprised that our experience at Surgi-Care in Waltham was exceptional.
Ashley and Judy were so helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They explained the …
ABSOLUTELY A SCAM. Fiance is a Veteran and had surgery. They messed up and didn’t send the bill to the VA and now we have an 800 claim in collections. They refuse to let the VA pay this bill. SCAM!!!
This is the scam they run. Be aware!
1) Submit lazyincorrect claim to your insurance.
2) Insurance denies and says “do xyz…” …
What a deplorable company. They charged my insurance company $365 for a walking boot that retails between $60-$90 even on other medical equipment sites. The first boot I received in the hospital stopped working properly in less than 24 …
