Texas Neurology Reviews ( 56 )

  1. Arrogance at its best!!! The neurologist is pathetic in his service and medical knowledge. He tries to push his own agenda. Do not walk out of here, RUN!!!

  2. Just from reading these reviews I dont want my mom going there. Anyone have any OTHER places they go to that they are happy with? In RoundRock, N.Austin, Plugerville or that general area?

  3. Call for appointment was told by receptionist to leave a message no return phone call was made to me. All i wanted to do was make appointment this customer service was completely unacceptable

  4. Don’t go to this place.
They are the worst. They don’t call patients back in a timely manner. The doctors are not compassionate, and hesitate to figure out what is wrong with you. The front staff is by far super rude!!!

  5. Dr. Horvit was very professional and made sure I understood all the information presented. He went out of his way to ensure I was receiving the best care possible.

  6. as a retired RNC I know the good and bad of doctors and doctors offices. This is the finest group I have ever met! Their doctors and Staff are the best trained and know all the newest available!

  7. I tried to get a new-patient appointment and was told they don’t take any kind of TRS insurance. This means that they don’t treat any teachers unless their district can afford to buy private insurance. That is very unfortunate for most Texas teachers.

  8. The front desk is great..however it’s been a night mare. One of the nurses yells and hangs up on me.One of the neurologists was rude at the very first visit. Both did not record vital information in my medical records and rudely blamed …

  9. Dr Lorelson has horrible bedside manners, he is obviously homophobic , and seemed like he was in pain killers or something. Horrible experience. The burst staff was rude, unprofessional and untidy.

  10. So, I’m not sure how to write in words how appreciative I am of this place and everyone here. I drove an hour just to see them and I’ve been met with nothing but kindness. The people at the front desk are so nice, and my new neurologist …

  11. I have been a patient for about 15 years. Dr. Fox, Stephanie Agrella, and Rochelle are wonderful and I know I’m getting the latest information on ms and the best treatment and care specific to my needs.

  12. Dr. Peckham is well-informed, easy to talk to. She really considered options and ideas I suggested, including supplements, for the treatment of my Parkinson’s disease.

  13. They are a huge practice, I have waited up to an hour past the appointment time. They don’t think about you unless you are in front of them, so to get anything done you need an appointment which books months out and again will take your entire day. They are just too big to provide quality care.

  14. Doctor Couch is a wonderful doctor, great at really listening to your issues. I was suffering extream tension headaches and he has and does amazing work to relieve my pain so that I don’t now have to rely on medication, which In fact did not really help. Highly recommend Central Texas Neurology.

  15. Just had testing done for Carpal Tunnel by Dr. Horvit. He was absolutely great! My aunt warned me that the test would be painful because of the needles but any pain I did feel was easily remedied by a most enjoyable visit with Dr. Horvit. …

  16. They listen! And the follow-up care from all in the office is terrific. I feel very confident in the quality of care I receive from Dr. Fox, and Stephanie Agrella, and Rachelle is great! Top notch!

  17. Eric did my EEG, he was extremely professional and kind and actually listened to me and documented things that my doctor didn’t seem to really care to take note of regarding a domestic violence related head injury. Anyways, request Eric as your tech for testing if you go here. He was very impressive.

  18. Staff on the front desk are extremely rude and unprofessional, they made me feel like I was a inconvenience. if I could give zero stars I would, I will definitely not return to this practice.

  19. I have been going to Dr Fox for a very long time now and have found him to be extremely knowledgeable and under his care I haven’t had a relapse in over a year. I do agree with others that the office staff has room for improvement but I’m …

  20. Dr. Peery was a pleasure to speak with and very detailed in explaining what sleep apnea is about. Unfortunately I can’t say the same about the front desk receptionist. Waited 10 minutes in line due to an elderly man filling out forms at the …

  21. I’ve seen Dr. Fox for over 10 years now. I love Rochelle and his PA, Stephanie. His bedside manner is different than a lot of other docs but I appreciate his knowledge and attentiveness to my needs more than his ability to hold my hand. It’s the only reason I still drive over an hour to see him a couple of times a year.

  22. Super professional and the front office staff were very nice. Wait was fairly normal for a doctor office, but still gotta take a star because normal is too long. They helped write a visit summary using language that would be easier to understand for a cognitively impaired patient. I’d definitely go here for brain stuff.

  23. Look, if it were not for Dr. Peery, I would be blind in both eyes instead of just one. So…. My respect for him is boundless. He also fixed my sleep apnea in one shot. My previous 2 Doctors had been working on it for a year and a half. …

  24. Very disappointed in this practice. My doctor sent a referral for me to be seen. I never heard from them. Called my doctor who said the referral was sent twice. I called them, can never get a live person. They called back, but had to …

  25. Worst experience I have ever had with a neurologist, condescending rude and outright mean. Dr. Fox needs to review his bedside manner, I will be looking for a new neurologist. I had to find a new neurologist, since my previous …

  26. I wasn’t very impressed with the office back in 2005 when I was a patient. So much so that I didn’t bother going there any further. However dr. Horvat is the MDA doctor here in Austin, so I decided to make an appointment to see what my …

  27. I have been a patient of Dr. Terry Peery for almost 6 years now and I have never had one issue with him or the practice itself. The service I receive for my seizure disorder as well as migraines has been the best I have ever received. To …

  28. I am reviewing based on my experience with Dr. Elizabeth Peckham. She is a great movement disorder specialist. Very caring and understanding. She always listens to all my questions and answers them thoughtfully. Her assistants have …

  29. I had an appointment scheduled. The office called the day before and I confirmed. I showed up for the appointment as scheduled today. When I got there the woman at the front desk said my appointment had been cancelled and given to …

  30. I have been seeing a Dr at this practice for about 4 years now. I have never been overly impressed, but it wasn’t terrible either. I have been trying to call since early last week to get an appointment scheduled, and I can’t get ahold of …

  31. Wanted to post here that I (Erin) called their scheduling desk on 11/25/2020 @ 12:00pm and spoke with Amanda about cancelling my appointment on 12/21/2020 with horvit. We spoke verbally on the phone, but they have no email contact and …

  32. Normally I don’t write reviews, but this office visit was the worst ever. Dr. Couch is good, but the front office staff are a bunch of mean-spirited people. I went in for my scheduled annual checkup with Dr. Couch. Same thing I have been …

  33. They have very little concern for their patients. They schedule new patient appointment a month and half or longer out then call on the day of your appointment to cancel “because of an emergency”. They obviously lack the coverage they …

  34. Dr. Peery is one heck of a nice guy. I suffered a stroke in October and he has gone above and beyond the expected duties. He had been very helpful in my recovery I give him many many thanks for his help and kindness.

  35. I have been a patient with Dr. Fox since my diagnosis MS in 2016. Personally, I prefer his knowledge over sympathy. You are adults, please do not expect pity, doctors are there to inform you of your condition and provide treatment. Dr. Fox …

  36. Terrible experience. My old doctor referred me to Dr. Fox and I initially was excited to start my treatment at his practice. The medical assistant Rochelle did not submit the paperwork to my insurance for a week, meanwhile telling me that …

  37. I have to say I’ve never got the runaround like this before. They look for every reason not to take new patient. Sarah that books new patients needs to take some customer service training. Her smirky attitude and deep sighs when you ask a …

  38. I see Dr. Couch for my migraines, and he’s always been great. I have been trying to find out what is wrong with me for 10 years. I was referred to Dr. Fox for possible MS. He won’t even see me, he reads some medical files and thinks he knows all about me. Very discouraging and rude.

  39. Didn’t even bother setting up an appointment because the staff member on the phone was extremely rude. My regular doctor setup a referral and a few days later, I noticed it had gone through. I decided to give them a call instead of waiting …

  40. My family doctor said I should see someone but I didn’t even bother getting him to send the referral to this office because the rudeness and making me feel like I’m putting them out really got to me. We’re the patient in need of medical attention and they act line they don’t want to be bothered? I just don’t get it.

  41. Patient care seems to be a little bit lacking. Staff gets annoyed and rude when you don’t know “their procedures”, which seems unprofessional to me. It’s not my job to learn their procedures. It’s their job to help me. Then the billing is a …

  42. Was referred to Dr. Fox when my old neurologist (who I never liked and who didn’t seem to care about my personal health AT ALL) transferred me to his practice. Staff is helpful and friendly. They also have a lot of in house help, like …

  43. The infusion center kind friendly along with the providers. Dr Fox knows MS like book and makes you feel comfortable. My only complaint is the way they bill. I don’t understand why they have 2 different billing companies not just one. This …

  44. Worst experience I have ever had with a doctors office. Saw Dr. Fox for the first time 18 months ago. He has done absolutely nothing for me. Wasted an entire year and a 1/2. Didn’t even call to review results from brain and spine MRI. Never …

  45. I’ve had a few appointments with them, they are often rescheduled. They also schedule weeks or months out in advance. Like the other reviews say, I’m not even sure how they are in business as this seems very common. …

  46. I scheduled an appointment for 4 o’clock and was asked to get there early in order to complete some necessary paperwork. I arrived at 3:45. An hour later I was still waiting to be seen. I had the front desk refund me my copay and left …

  47. Dr. Couch was amazing him and his staff were exceptional. 10/10 recommend going here. Front desk very attentive, nursing assistant was very kind and attentive to my needs. Dr. Couch was very thorough in my evaluation and helpful to me to meet my expectations.
