Without a doubt, the best hospital I have ever set foot inside. Outstanding communication between subspecialists.
Wow what an extremely rude female!!!!!! I am trying to get the information to schedule pre op testing for my fiancés son, and she rudely says” u need to do that during the day” U need to call after 830 am. …
If they want to be your only doctor, you should let them. They are amazing– saved my son’s life. Hard to get an initial appointment because they are so in-demand as they are the BEST in the country. But once you’re in, routine appointments are easy to get. They run tons of clinical studies too. Wonderfully devot d people.
I’ve been to CHOP many times with my son but tonight was the worst experience I have ever had. I was not impressed with the Dr at the ER and did not like entire experience. It’s sad to say I need to find a Dr after tonight.
OMG I took my daugther To ER becuase she was talking a bout kill herself, who interview her was a social worker, thé doctor show up at the end, and he dint even talk To us or my daugther, so I dint knew that the social workers are …
Have traveled to CHOP twice this year for our youngest. Top notch hospital and staff. They are truly the best of the best.
Brought our daughter in extreme pain with a broken arm, the care here was superb and they addressed her pain expeditiously. We ate forever grateful to the doctors, nurses and staff.
There ER wait time is terrible got there at 12:45 a.m. it is now 7:50 a.m. and still waiting this wait time is unacceptable during the wait time my daughter’s symptoms reoccurred.
This hospital abuses kids. Changes coming soon…………..
Wonderful hospital most of the time…but once they’ve decided they have done enough it doesn’t matter if you still have concerns… families no longer get the respect and consideration they deserve when dealing with a terminally ill …
SUPER LUCKY that I don’t live from the hospital of my dream and I love everyone doing a great job beating cancer, coronavirus, and so much more. The places are clean, new, and beutiful.
Just left and first experience with Children’s hospital and I have to say how wonderful it was for a hospital stay ,everyone so caring and concerned Thank you Molly ,Corinne ,LJ (4S)and Dr Baldwin and staff and all others ,if you have children or grandchildren that are not well this is where you want to be !
Thanks to all the amazing doctors, nurses, RTs, PT,OT, SP and all the staffs for taking such good care of my son while he was at the PICU and Nephro floor. Will be forever greatful for the wonderful care he received.
This hospital is phenomenal! I live almost 2 hours away and unless it’s a dire emergency I would rather drive all the way here because it truly is the best hospital experience I’ve ever had.
Everyone at CHOP is wonderful: food service, environmental, nurses, doctors, technologists, child life. They’ve been the absolute best part of my son’s terrible diagnosis.
I must say CHOP is the best of the best. Dr Bauer and his team are exceptional. I travel from NYC to see him . Not even Colombia is as good as CHOP. Friendly and spotless .
We have a second family at CHOP. You all have served us so well. Special thanks to our onco and picu nurses. And of course Dr. Belasco and Dr. Storm. …

Very professional staff in dealing with my child’s procedure and overnight stay. Nurses check in with you when changing shifts. Cafeteria service and food quality is hit or miss but you’re there for medical care not food.
Great, they TREATED my grandson here with the best caer there is , he didnt get discharge until he was 100% well. They do THEIR job there, without a doubt. Some others have their own opinión, but thats ok they are entittled to have THEIR own. Thats Why you have more than one hospital.
Please CHOP save our Carley Elbert

Nurtition: Very bad experience with them ordering food for guests. Took them 3 hours from start to finish and they still brought the wrong stuff. They tried to rectify by giving me more vouchers but Im good. Ill just bring something with me next time.
You should wait 6 more hours!
The best care, bedside manner, and expediency I have experienced in any medical facility across the United States, to include their emergency transport team. If you are looking for EXPERT respiratory or emergency care, this is where you want your children to be.
When you need something done right it pays to come to a place like this to get it done. They are able to manage complex cases and that is very helpful when (other places – most doctors give you 15 min visit while they look at the computer) – here they treat you like you are important.
My son was diagnosed with green stick fracture at Mercy Suburban E.R. and they had the sense to send us to Chop for care, when we arrived at Chop they said this type of fracture was not possible as my son is 16, he is too old to get this type of fracture, actual diagnoses was buckle fracture. Chop docs are best!
Back in 1999, while I was in 1st grade, I had developed Scarlet Fever. My parents brought me here. I fell into a coma before I arrived. The doctors did everything they possibly could for me. They kept my parents in the loop about …
Forced against my will to comply with IV bags shoved into my arms. The doctors are rude, snobbish, and unbelievably condescending. Dr .Chen the psychiatrist is particularly intolerable.
We are from Miami FL, My son underwent double spinal Fusion back in September 2015. We stayed for 14 days at PICU. Amazing staff, Doctors and Nurses. A difficult and traumatic experience was transformed with a pleasant stay because of excellent doctors and nurses during the time. Thanks to everyone at PICU and Dr. Phillip Storm.
I worked there for years. I love Children’s hospital. An amazing place where doctors love their jobs and children are FIRST PRIORITY!!!
If I could I would give this place a million stars! Was there with my daughter over night cause my daughter needed emergency surgery and the staff took such good care of my little girl and any concerns or questions I had at such a scary …
The website is horrible. I wrote for an allergy appointment and for child psychiatrist and waiting the three days and no reply back either time. Why offer online appointment making if you don’t respond to the request when the site says it will. What horrible customer service, especially when working with kids.
I will forever be indebted to this wonderful place and the staff there. In the early 80s they took care of me and treated me with kindness. I will always remember the playroom and making macaroni necklaces. They have an important mission!
Great staff. Everything on site, they will not send u anywhere else 4 additional testing, all done right there. Only problem is so much construction going on it gets confusing getting to certain entrances n stuff. Great Wifi even in the parking lot underground. God Bless
Horrible! Can’t get a hold of anyone to make an appointment. Left on hold for over 20 mins to be told to hang on and wait for another 20 mins. …
My daughter has a medical issue, and needs serious medical care . We have been to Columbia Presbyterian, Milwaukee Children Hospital , and others . Nothing come close to the service knowledgeable staff , and comfortable experience like we …
I saw Dr Robert A Avery at the University of PA. He was unprofessional, insulting, insensitive, and rude. I came to him for an eye issue and I left crying for days. I truly believe that the way he treated me, an adult, I would never want this man near my children. What an awful human being. Parent’s find another doctor.
This hospital is one of the best! I was in there for 4 days and they took great care of me. When I was feeling sad, the nurses would make me feel better. They even gave me some accessories and makeup when I left.🏥😀👍❤️ …
The only hospital i’ve seen so far that actually takes gastroparesis patients seriously

We love the doctors and staff. This is our 8th year here. We rest assured knowing our children are in the best possible care. Well worth the 2 hour drive.
Great hospital. Helped the children in my family gain and maintain health for generations. Needs to keep up with the latest technological advances by purchasing a Senhance.
CHOP is one of the best in the country if not the world. People in Philadelphia don’t always realize this. We are lucky to have the incredible staff and doctors, as well as researchers and world renowned industry leaders at this hospital.
I would give 0 stars if I could. This totally incompetent hospital just kicked my 15 year old son out of his room at 1:30am. Told him to go wait in the waiting room for a ride, meanwhile I his mother was not notified they were releasing him …
Abusive billing practices.. After paying thousands of dollars out of pocket for my child’s treatment (as our insurance would only partially cover certain services and procedures), I contacted the billing department to arrange a six-month …
I have been extensively treated for cancer at this hospital over a course of 10 months. I have gotten to know a lot of the staff and they are both excellent at what they do and amazing people. This is THE best Children’s hospital you could ever go to, I would not recommend going anywhere else if coming here is an option.
Amazing hospital staff. Everyone is kind, even the food servers. God bless CHOP. Thank you for caring for my daughter, and me with my high anxiety.

Chop have been nothing but good to me and took very good care of my daughter, the are amazing and the time spent is Minum …and they go over everything…and make sure the patients comfortable..they also are very kind…they remind me of Jefferson hospital staff for adults …most are amazing..
Great hospital. We have dealt with the E.R. department, neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, radiology, child life specialist, social worker, outpatient clinic and many other departments and all are great.
Nursing staff is excellent.
We where at hospital for over five hours. My son could not hear and stomach was twice his normal size. The only answer they had was he was constipated. Very disappointed with level of service and diagnoses. Would never come back. Drive over 90 minutes to get to hospital. Never again.
Horrible horrible hospital! If you have a choice go to DuPont in Delaware. They misdiagnosed a relative causing months of pain. They can’t read xrays. We were told bones were broken that weren’t. The phlebotomist kept missing the vein …
From the transport team to the second my grandson entered the facility they treated him like he was there own child. Caring and compassionate. When a baby is sick that is all you want. They Care!
CHOP is always ranked in the top #1 or #2 spots in US NEws & World Reports for Children’s Hospitals in the US. And once you have had a child treated here, it will be #1 in your book too! Saved my son’s life! The new Beurger Center is a …
The Hospital and doctors here are fantastic! I would give them a 5 rating! I am only rating the sign in desk at CHOP in King of Prussia Physical Therapy section. They are extremely rude! The woman that sits in the middle (of the 3 …
Dr Low did my Cleft Lip/Pallet repair in 1990. 28 years later and I still appreciate him for it. He did amazing work. I’d gone back to see him a few times as I got older and he was also so Pleasent to talk to.
The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is not just a pediatric hospital but one of the nation’s best Hospital four children and their families. This Hospital saved my life and I miss going to the hospital but I have really good memories there.

My son was at CHOP when he was born for 11 months and after he continue seeing the doctors there. We didn’t care to drive 2 hrs from nj to see them. The best hospital ever. He is alive thanks to their care.
Everyone at CHOP is amazing. My daughter had a three part heart surgery. They saved her life. Everyone we dealt with was incredible. We are lucky to have a hospital like this nearby.
First i must say the quality of care from the Orthopedic surgeon was great. However the inpatient care was less then desirable. …

Terrible first time experience with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. We were told CHOP was in-network with our Aetna insurance and then we receive a $668.28 (patient responsibility) bill for a simple hip x-ray on 1/17/2020 for my daughter. This is disgusting.

This place deserves 10 stars, they go above and beyond in every category. The CICU saved my daughters life. The best hands we could have been in. Thank you so much for everything.
They’ve cared so well for my son oswald in the cardiac unit, from fetal care, to the SDU, to the Cath lab, and cardio thoracic surgery. AND NOW There’s a man playing piano, who I heard is a doctor here . ABSOLUTELY amazing.

The staff, housekeeping to administration, for almost six months, we were made to feel welcome. House keeper, tech, SNA and cafeteria manager , all did a great job of showing love. Epsilon 118
I called in for an appointment at the sleep center for my daughter. The receptionist provided very little information to help secure an appointment. She acted as if I were bothering her by asking questions – which she answered resentfully and without clarity. Better customer service is clearly needed.

All the staff and nurses are so efficient and thorough at Chop. Our son had a relapse and Chop is making this very difficult time as smooth as possible to help him again. Thank you do all you have done for us.
The doctors, nurses, and staff are all terrific and caring. All three of my children have had procedures done at CHOP. The most extensive was my 2 year old having his kidney and ureter removed due to kidney disease. The urology and nephrology departments are fantastic along with the NICU and 4S nursing staff!
The doctors here called CPS on a family friend whose child was discharged because they refused around the clock nurses and instead traveled out of state for additional therapies. I would NEVER send anyone here!
The hospital not only caters to the needs of there patients, but also the needs of the family. I was truly in pressed with the attention they gave to the sibling of the baby who was hospitalized there. The extent they go through to educate …

I was in children’s for almost a month very very sick and this was the best hospital! They treated me with such care.
They helped me understand how to take care of myself when I finally went home. …
Our first day there was a rough start but everything changed for the better.
Surgery and procedures went well. We have now chosen this hospital to be the permanent care for my granddaughter. It’s extremely hard to go through a tough time …
I would have never thought that is was the best hospital ever!!! My son was admitted in children hospital of Hershey PA for 2 months never couldn’t figure out was was wrong with him,, I asked to be transferred to chop and it was the best …
We were very pleased with the doctors and the care for our one year old who came in with some neurological issues that worried me. My only comment would be on the waiting room. It would be great if they had a waiting for room “sick” kids …
Let me just say this is a great hospital with great surgeons but the reason for one star is that you should never have to share a room. We always get rude patients or rude caregivers with the patients that think they are the only ones in …
The ER is the absolute worst that I have ever experienced. The staff didn’t have a clue as to how to treat my grandson’s seizures and high fever. Each person asked the same questions over and over. I don’t mean different people, the same …
My daughter had a Telehealth visit with Dr Kelly in March 2020 for her abdominal pain. He did nothing. My insurance company paid CHOP, an in-network provider, and they sent me a bill for the full amount anyway.Four phone calls, included a 3 …
LOVE LOVE LOVE Chop Hospital!!!! Took my son here in 2016 for a perforated appendix. Took him to St Chris 3x’s within a 2 week span and nothing as soon as we walked in to Chop they took him back immediately and within the hour they were …
My son had jaw surgery and during that surgery the surgeon Dr. Taylor broke at least 3 of my son’s teeth! They had to be surgically removed and CHOP doesn’t want to pay for my son to get his teeth fixed!!!!!!! Did I mention the jaw surgery …
Urged to take my son there by his pediatrician. After many attempts, I finally get in but they recommend we see a different type of specialist first before the type of specialist that my pediatrician recommended. Over the course of a couple …
Absolutely the worst my grandson was brought there for an emergency procedure and they were more concerned about who was in the waiting room then actually performing a procedure on him we ended up having to take him to a different hospital …
Been here several times. Staff seems nice and competent but they always ask you to show up at a specific time and then you wait at least an hour to see anyone. This is probably the fault of negligent/needy patients who doctors cant get out …
I know this hospital is ranked very highly as a children’s hospital but we had a bad experience with them and there billing department is worse. So, we were in Philadelphia visiting and my 3 year old daughter fell on a playground and broke …
I’m very frustrated that we wasted our time coming to CHOP for my son’s tonsillectomy. We opted for CHOP over our local hospital because our son is autistic and we heard good things about their treatment of special needs children. I was …
To whom it may concern:
I have contacted the billing department 7 times to receive a simple UB04 form for a claim for my daughter. Each time the phone call has cost me on average an …
As parents of a child with hydrocephalus that has been causing serve migraines for three and a half years we were told this was the place to help him! Unfortunately could not be further from the truth. …
We have had to (unfortunately) bring our son to CHOP twice this past year. Once was an emergency and once was a scheduled surgery. My son was 8 months and 10 months and the team of doctors and nurses was unbelievable. From the security …
Best doctors, One of the top hospitals in the world for children , the doctors and nurses are so nice and wonderful they will go out of the way to make sure patient is healthy and parents are calm and know everything about their child,
If u have a child that needs any speciality care “chop” is the place!
Neurology Department tell the patient or manager if you need you can return, it’s not true. I called reporting several incidents, falls where my daughter has received blows to the head, has erratic changes of involuntary physical …
This is the BEST hospital in the WORLD, I have been going here for 22 years , and have had over 20 surgeries here! I wouldn’t pick anywhere else to go, I rather wait 6 hours here see a doctor than 1 hour at a local hospital. This hospital …
Going to one of the best pediatric hospitals in the nation – I trusted that my child was in good hands. Today, I feel very naive for assuming that mistakes can’t happen at CHOP. While I do believe CHOP has some of the best doctors and …
My daughter put a googly eye up her nose and it got stuck! We went to the ENT department at CHOP, and they got it out. From the minute we walked into the building, EVERYONE was super friendly and helpful. It all started with the security …
Very professional! The staff was very helpful. The nurses were always super happy which I’m sure is tiring but it helps. My 2 and half hear old was very comfortable the whole time even thought she was getting surgery. The cafeteria food was actually good also. Good job CHOP.
At Children’s hospital right now. Literally the worst experience I’ve ever had here and I’ve been here a lot. I know the doctors are good but I’ve been here 2 day and have yet to see one. The nurses are rude and not helpful. My daughter …
The Drs here absolutely amazing. I personally went here for a fetal echocardiogram for my baby. The worker’s are extremely nice , helpful and give you a piece of mind at least for me they did . I would highly recommend this hospital for any special kind of Drs . It’s truly amazing here.
Amazing staff helped my child right away.
I would like to start off by saying that if it were possible, I would give more stars! My wife and I could not be happier with how the process of being admitted went to the care and attention from all the doctors and nurses. All was top …

The best Hospital period. She was born here. We come back here . Best teams available. Above and beyond doesn’t even describe the service you get here.
Keep saving lives, and giving new ones a chance at life. You all are the best at what you do. ❤️. Spinabifida/ mylo.
No parents wants their child to be in a hospital, however our stay at CHOP (16 days) was filled with uplifting, caring people. One nurse that made a huge impact on both myself and my daughter. We had been admitted into the nutrition unit …
The doctors and nurses at CHOP are the best! We never have any problems with the staff. The wait time in the ER is long and frustrating but i would not go anywhere else. The cafeteria on the other hand is not the greatest. Most of the …
Terrible. Came in for emergency and waited for hours and hours for a doctor. They cared more about billing services and paperwork then the actual patient. Had two vials of bloodwork done, then they had to come do it again because the vials …
VERY LONG WAIT.I got here at 12:00 and is 5am and still don’t see the doctor’s.
Dr. Low is amazing! We had to take our daughter here a week after delivering. He thoroughly explained her condition and answered all of our questions and concerns. The facility itself is beautiful and the check-in process was quick and painless. Thank you CHOP for the excellent service.
CHOP in Philadelphia is the worst hospital ever. There ER is absolutely terrible. They refused a major surgery on my son, and we had to get CHOP in the suburbs to come to Philly to do the surgery. As a person who has a concentration in …
they legit saved my life.

i even explained to my doctor about my kidney disorder!!! 😀 …
A gem in the healthcare network of the Delaware Valley. The few times( thankfully) we’ve had to bring my son here it has been a positive experience. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. Appointment times were always close to being met. Pro tip- allow time for parking and traffic in the area.
It’s a great hospital but can be daunting you are left to feel alone with your child. No one In charge to get answers from
Back in the late 1980’s my daughter was diagnosed with a seizure disorder and was placed on Dilantin. Her pediatrician requested she be admitted to CHOP. I don’t know what their policy is today but they refused to admit her then. Two weeks …
From the top surgeons and nurses to the parking attendants and maintenance staff I was always treated with respect. Medical staff is the most knowledgeable, kind and compassionate and since my child needed treatment- this was definitely where I was most comfortable .
I love the hospital. But the way that they treat their patients is just abysmal in my opinion. When you make an appointment, I would assume that the appointment should be at least around that general time. Not an hour to an hour and 15 …
Best hospital ever, i was in a hospital for 2 months then CHOP for 8 months so i was almost a year in the hospital and I’m so happy i got out, I couldn’t have done it without chop. …
Doctors can’t be bothered to talk to other specialists or get the paperwork sent to them. Put the onus on the patient/family to do all the work. Never answers calls and spend weeks waiting for calls. Find specialists local to you if you can. Don’t let their multimillion dollar expansion fool you.
I never write reviews but felt the need. My nephew is receiving horrible care from the neurology department. They’re a disheveled mess. The doctors can’t be bothered with rotations and expect nurses to relay messages back and forth. They …
Best children hospital in Philadelphia

CHOP is amazing. They serve as a children’s hospital that continously advances their care with research and expertise. Some top notch pediatric care in the northern East coast area. Many specialists available for continuing care of our children’s health. Highly recommended.
If you want to be sure your child is safe and out of harms way, you should not take them to the Children’s Hospital King of Prussia location. If your child is having thoughts of suicide or self harm, the nurse practitioner Jill Effron will …
The most wonderful, caring stuff of doctors, nurses and professionals I’ve encountered. Our son had his CDH repair here and has had numerous follow-up experiences and everyone continues to go above and beyond to provide a seamless experience for him and for us. Blessed to have found CHOP.
These doctors are horrible. They mistreat me so badly. They disrespected my privacy. Wouldn’t listen to my needs but punish me for incident.
if i could give this hospital a zero i would. 3rd time my child has been here in the past 3 months. they have given us no answer and toture him every single day. they don’t give him medicine when it is time for medicine. they don’t care …
Today my 9 year old son had a catheter ablation and I can’t say enough how professional, comforting and overall how wonderful everyone we dealt with were. Dr Janson and Nurses Jess and Rebecca in the Cardiac unit were all fantastic. My wife and I can’t thank them enough for how well they treated our son.
I have been to CHOP ER three times. The wait is always horribly long. Staff is average. Their commitment is to their peace of mind not to move patients effectively. They polite but never offering good prediction what would happen and when. Try urgent care unless one has no choice.
Their ER is very horrible, the Guards Have better service. Hours after hours after hours waiting, no communication just for my son having a fever
I am really angry with this hospital first then send my daughter home while her daughter is there now they are trying to blame her for missing a appointment cause my granddaughter had a fever and she tried rescheduling it and no one got back to her now they have cys on her this is bull
May God bless the doctors, nurses and all workers in this place. They are compassionate and their customer service is A+
Hands down the best hospital for your child’s needs, we couldn’t be happier with the level of service and care!
Thankfully CHoP is right here in our backyard. One of my children has a very rare disease. The team we see is one of the most experienced in that field. Every time we have a clinic or visit hey treat us with such respect. They are the best. We love them and can not thank them enough for everything they do for us!!!!!
